I wish I had a garden big enough to fit a koi pond. I have to make-do with goldfish :D
i've noticed a lot of *koi ponds* in the UK are built above the ground or at least partially. they also don't use huge rocks or boulders inside so they are very nice and deep keeping the fish safe from predators and the elements. aquascape ponds are nice water features but they are inadequate to keep happy koi because they are just way too shallow and not suitable for koi keeping

Another great showcasing of a CAC. Loved how he explains everything in detail with unique ideas. I'm gonna take the fairy falls idea for my own business water feature, not sorry. New food concepts with the duck weed alone is eye opening. This industry is truly a global phenomenon.

@@ThePondAdvisor well Mark…….went with 17ftx9ft 3-4ft deep for some a small pond for others a large pond!
I suffer with lots of different problems from having a brain tumour and I would by far say my pond really brings me so much joy and happiness I wish I put it in years ago.

Tom Hayward the December training is just for contractors and retailers. Having said that I will be hosting a couple of diy clinics. The first one is building a small garden waterfall class.

I have a question!
I have a koi pond, i have about 5 adults, and 2 youngins. So typically, they stick in their groups but they do also scavenge off in pairs. Just yesterday, i realised that all my koi werent in the normal area of the pond where the spitter for oxygen is. They swam up stream, and are all huddled together behind a rock. Every single one of them. What does this mean???? I really need your help and cant find anyone with info!

Do you know anywhere I can order kio carp I live in the uk london?
So I've got 1000 litre raised pond with viewing windows, more of an out door aquarium coming for my birthday. It's not very big for a pond and I'm in England. What fish can I have in it and how many? I have well estaished indoor tanks and will cycle it this year so won't stock until spring next year. Oh.... And will they hybrrnate if they are above ground in winter omg I hadn't thought

What filter does Mark use on his koi pond?
Before it was shut down last year 2022, I filtered the pool with a very basic multi bay koi pool was built in 2005. Now we are building a Koi Palace

Hi I have built a round brick pond , I have a pump that feeds into a evo uv then into my filter and back into the pond through the fountain . My pond water still keeps going green ???? Why and what can I do ?
@@sonnyjaxgang6675 I am not sure, it sound like something is wrong with the set up. I have not install one for years so I can’t comment. You don’t need a UV to clear green water all the time. It sound like you have a bareliner fish pool. Check the UVC if that’s working. Think about an aquascape eco system pond much less attention and clear water.
