Whew that was alot of young stallion energy all in one place!!!! You all were amazing with them as they learn! Lol Oh yes! I noticed Risey’s growth and muscle development! He looks so fine!!!! Loving that prancey walk!!! 😂😅 He’s so beautiful! They all are! 👏👏👏🎉. It was so fun watching them transfer. Oh and Yvonne you just keep getting stronger and stronger as you ride! My goodness, Rising Star has grown into very handsome 2 year old. Already so tall and with impressive conformation. He is going to be a big and spicy stallion. But he still loves Yvonne, and is so special. ❤

I love how the littles get outside and at first aren’t sure where they are and then they start to play and jump and kick. Risey is truly becoming a beautiful stallion. You can tell he’s well cared for. What fun to watch him grow from that once little jumping and kicking out in the field to this strong and independent 2 year old!

"OMG!!! IT'S A BLUE MONSTER!" thinks Rising Star, as he sees an itty bitty blue car pulled over and stopped on the road. 🤣🤣🤣 He has become so strong! I bet Yvonne was worn out by the time they reached the stable. She really had to hold on tight for the entire walk. I'm glad that Rising Star trusts her. Otherwise, I think that he might have pulled away from her and ran! As another Commenter said, he was doing a great job practicing his "Half Pass" moves! He's going to be great one day! All of the horses are looking very good. Especially "my" Jacobien! Her sleek, shiny, black coat made her look beautiful! She reminded me so much of our Queen Uniek, who did the job of moving the Colts and Fillies for years and years before she moved to Stal H. I wonder if this will be Jacobien's job now? I really hope so! I think she did the job very well! Not knowing much about horses, let me ask those who do know, . . . When Yvonne said that the horses were coming inside for deworming and the farrier, did she mean that the farrier would be looking at, and possibly working on, the hooves of the two year olds? I was wondering if I saw an uneven hoof on Risey's left hind. Wondering if they just getting a trim. Doesn't seem necessary to have shoes in the pasture.
@@egregiousme 👍 Agreed! Maybe they just start getting some sanding and trimming when they are two. That may be how they keep the horses from totally freaking out when shoes are hammered on later. Hopefully a horse person will see this and tell us all about it.
@@galerandall8773 Not a horse person but farriers have told me young horses are skittish when first approached. But, hilariously, old horses tend to "lean" on the farriers back and shoulders. Haha.

I'm remembering an old video where Yvonne was showing Janet (Rising Star's breeder) how Rising Star had already learned how to lift and bend his leg, as necessary for a farrier. I wonder if they try to teach the yearlings this (and grooming) before they are in the pasture day and night, and not around people as much.

Well, we know who was the real star of this video. From the adorable little guy to the gorgeous, stunning, VERY independent... OK, he's testing Yvonne, stallion. Love seeing Risey work his mommy's patience and horse handling skills. Yvonne, please be careful... RS is no longer that little guy who rested his head on your lap! He's a BIG boy now. And the other boys? Wow! So very handsome. A great video.

He has become so strong! I bet Yvonne was worn out by the time they reached the stable. She really had to hold on tight for the entire walk. I'm glad that Rising Star trusts her. Otherwise, I think that he might have pulled away from her and ran!

Her sleek, shiny, black coat made her look beautiful! She reminded me so much of our Queen Uniek, who did the job of moving the Colts and Fillies for years and years before she moved to Stal H. I wonder if this will be Jacobien's job now? I really hope so! I think she did the job very well!
Not knowing much about horses, let me ask those who do know, . . .
When Yvonne said that the horses were coming inside for deworming and the farrier, did she mean that the farrier would be looking at, and possibly working on, the hooves of the two year olds? If so, I'd *really* love to see that. I bet it's not easy!!!

I was wondering if I saw an uneven hoof on Risey's left hind. Wondering if they just getting a trim. Doesn't seem necessary to have shoes in the pasture.

👍 Agreed! Maybe they just start getting some sanding and trimming when they are two. That may be how they keep the horses from totally freaking out when shoes are hammered on later. Hopefully a horse person will see this and tell us all about it.
@@galerandall8773 Not a horse person but farriers have told me young horses are skittish when first approached. But, hilariously, old horses tend to "lean" on the farriers back and shoulders. Haha.

Skittishness is exactly what I'm expecting. I'm remembering an old video where Yvonne was showing Janet (Rising Star's breeder) how Rising Star had already learned how to lift and bend his leg, as necessary for a farrier. (It was the "Rising Star Sold" video) Rising Star was still quite young then (4 months).
I wonder if they try to teach the yearlings this (and grooming) before they are in the pasture day and night, and not around people as much.

Would say that our Yvonne got A real workout as she guided Risey along the road. He seems to be thinking and watching the entire trip to the stable. He is very quick in his responses🐴🐴🐴💕💕💕
Think you called it, he's taller than she, awkward a bit, looking to his mama for guidance and direction. He has a nice rump for dressage and limber side ambulation. Maybe Yvonne needs to wear a helmet next time, until he learns the ropes of the herd moving from one place to another and understands her Intention 🎉
