Ivan Salgado I've been to dozens of Coheed concerts - thank G-d for living in the NYC area. I've caught three of Josh's drumsticks, I have maybe six set lists, one of which has Claudio's footprint, and a handful of picks.
I also am the one who started the "Elf Tower" chant (and printed the signs) for NYC Neverender.

Always and forever, this is a timeless classic.
Love the drummer's energy. This is probably his 5,000th time playing this song and he's still rocking out like there's no tomorrow.
His story of having to leave the band and coming back gave him a new lease, I believe.
He prolly loves this song as much as we do

Only a few bands can do it.
Claudio's voice is great in this recording - he usually opts out of going too high register in this song at concerts just to preserve his voice for the rest of the show, so it's nice to hear it so close to the original.

Everytime I listen to this I melt at the falsetto's Claudio does in the second verse. One day I hope I can sing as well as him.

@@patrickmeere7808 Sure, it should be in head voice, and it almost exclusively is. Adding flourishes to your vocals isn't a shortcut when it's done tastefully and purposefully to improve the song. The way he does it here seems to be intentionally adding definition to the specific words.

They used to suck live. Check their old live videos. I honestly thought they would give up. lol. I still love them tho.
miguel antonio fonacier No, they have pretty much been incredible live since IKSSE3 came out. They have had a small handful of performances where Claudio was very sick (Rock in Rio is one that comes to mind) but it is extremely rare.

Vitor Heerdt They weren't great when they were kids and first started touring. They had great energy but Claudio was all over the place.
Absolute fire vocals , not easy to create such a sound and vocal...
They sound so good. It's nice to hear him sing the entire song instead of skipping on the part where he has the crowd do it for him
Coheed and Cambria always bring 100 percent to their performance. Never disappointing to see these guys play. Absolutely great clip here -- can't wait to see the rest of this show.
I enjoy seeing this band just blow me away and improve as they get older. I am from eastern NY and I vaguely remember seeing them as Shabutie about 15 years ago at Saratoga Winners and it was terrible. This band is aging considerably well and the Afterman records are the best thing they put out since Good Apollo.

Claudio killing it for years
There's not enough Coheed music in the world. Such a great band that's never really quite got the recognition they deserve.

It's a show like none other.
It's only after seeing Coheed live that I started to be a good person, before that, nothing really motivated me. Stupid, but true. Their music is life changing !
It's a goddamn experience. Do anything you can to see them headline. It's just the greatest.
I finally got to see them live a year ago. Such a good experience. Everyone there was singing every word, except for the acoustic mini-set they did, where no one wanted to make a sound.

Ahhh it's been sooooo many years since I've even listened to this song but Travis you never fail to offer such subtle complexities to the melody, you are truly an innovator for guitarists and one of my greatest influences, you can make an older song sound so fresh, too bad guitar center didnt decide to play some of the truly phenomenal coheed songs, the best on this playlist is 2's my favorite 1. I mean a favor is old school but dosent show the true creativity that is coheed nearly as well as the willing well's and countless others that I would of had you play. But keep it up, I can't wait to see you again

It's because they've got Josh back. And while I love Mic Todd, and honestly I'm not sure WHAT it is, but Zach Cooper brings something that just completes them. The first time I saw footage of him playing with them live it didn't feel like he was out of place. He was a part of the family, and he knew it.

My fav together bandy band with umph: Drummer hits drums, guitar players rip different parts , either solo or rhythm , and bass player actually plays bass . I had been working in the desert for 13 years in the usa and missed this because the local-stations didn't pay attention to them imho , ( protocols are a bitch ) .. ty for doing something so much better than standard format. Its cool in so many ways to ME !

I was told he stopped smoking and that did a lot of good for his voice
They’ve played a half step down live for a while to assist his voice, glad this is in standard tuning. Sounds awesome
He always struggled with acid reflux. And then he was smoking for awhile there. He’s changed all of that and is sounding and I’m sure feeling much better these days.
