As I was watching you spray paint the shutter piece I thought wow you would so easily be able to do an ombre effect on some appropriate items! Would look amazing.
The windows are wonderful. I want to try this but have been unable to find any windows at a reasonable price. I love watching you do them. The shutter turned out really nice too.
You speak with the voice of experience! I was impressed with how you avoided problems by not trying to use both sides of the cloth on that second window. You've really nailed your mirror-effect+decoupage technique and Mr Piggy is adorable!
I sold my first repurposed window that I did using the Roycycled paper with the cow and calf on two of the panes. The couple that bought it is remodeling a barn into a living space. Thank you for helping me and them find some decor that will fit their new home.
You are wicked with spray paint! I too admire your technique :)) I loved them all but my favs are the the window with the Turkey and the shutter. I loved that wonkey window. You are such a good teacher. Ok, now hurry and go find some more!LOL. God Bless and Thank you for all your hard work. I love your channel. Rebekah.
You have the ability to look past the present and see into the future with your work. You are amazing. You have a vision to see things not as they are, but what they could be. Never stop imagining and dreaming.
I so appreciate these videos. Even though I have watched so many, I always learn. I laughed when you said "we" (meaning viewers) enjoy watching you spray paint.... cause it's true. lol! It's immediate transformation and some of us look forward to one day having a spray gun and the space to use it... Very fun and the pieces are always fabulous! Thank you!
You are a real pro at doing windows with that tissue paper. Each window turned out adorable. Loved how you did the shutter. Adding that wreath, leaving its natural wood color was perfect n adding the black star with the tin gathered word gave the whole piece so much character n dimension. I’m sure they won’t last long in your booth. Your really good at what you do. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍
It's fantastic how much I still can learn from you ! You always one up yourself ! And Chris is the master woodworker ! I love your videos and are always happy when a new one comes out .
You so inspire me. Your excellence in your work and integrity. I shared this video with my husband. We are preparing for a show. We have an old window and window with shutters.
I almost liked the 4 pane painting..but, I loved your change. Adorable. Would I have done all of that work? I don’t know. But, that’s what you have chosen as your job, and I am grateful! You inspire me!
I love Windows and how you transform them. Great ideas and you are so talented. Thanks for sharing your creations. My favorite is the first one, but definitely love them all.
I love windows 😍 you can just do so much with them. I also love your last project, its beautiful love all the colors together. God bless you and Jim and your family 👪
Love mr piggy window, the mirror effect just makes him pop right out. Your mind must be so full of visions for your pieces, you truly have a wonderful gift and yes I like to watch you spray paint, makes a dramatic change so quickly! Thank you for all the hard work you do to bring us videos to watch. X
Love the character of old windows. I'm currently looking for 2 matching old doors to make an arbor to put at one end of my new brick sidewalk on the side of my house. We will go to the last Flea Mkt on Labor Day. The town is 20 miles away and there are about 40 vendors, big enough, but, not huge! My husband loves looking for tools, also. Hope I have luck!
All three projects were great! Each with it's own design and style. So much work involved, so it's wonderful that you have the space and products to create your vision for each one! I would have cut the grain sack and ended up with a disaster! And that outdated orange shutter (that no one would want) got a second life with a modern look! Wonderful way to recycle!!
Omg!!! I love the glue crackles!!!! It works every time and is so awesome. I have been playing with the different colors and layers you can use. So super creative.
Loved the needy window…😂😂😂… inspiration to try it ! I have everything already…. Thank you for sharing your ideas and tips. Loved the mirror effect, too, on the first window. Did not know that product existed… 🤔. Another win, Yvonne! - Jill
Love watching your makeovers. ??? Have you ever done decoupage on the shudders? Was wondering how it would work with the slats. Maybe you could do a tutorial. Would really appreciate it. Thank you.❤️😉❤️
I liked when you use to put the price you thought you would sell the items for in the end when you showed final view. Can you do that again I found it helpful
Hi Yvonne! Love all 3 windows...each so different from the other. The piggy window is beautiful with the dark wood...the black window has so much character and the white slatted piece looks so good with the black accents! Ouchie!! 🤕 Be careful! 🤭
They all came out great. Love the windows. The shutter was great. I have to say I think the gather was to big for the star. I loved the star it made it really pop. It was so sharp looking. In fact I have a shutter that I’ve been holding onto waiting to do something with and now you gave me a great idea. Thank you for that. As always so much fun to watch your creativity. Hugs
I love the mirror affect window. Thank you so much for the awesome ideas you share with all of us !! I also love the shutter. It's beautiful and my faviorite. I want to get one of those too
Hi Yvonne.U marry decor with ur pieces so well. I appreciate the artist eye in u. The piggy window was incredible! I would buy that! The turkey window was awesome too! Luv ur projects. Always inspiring.
Yvonne, you never disappoint! Great up-cycles, but loved the shutter…as soon as you tried the black star on the wreath, it caught my breath! Thank you‼️😊 … 🏆 Edit: Just reading all the comments…your name is not Yvonne??? It’s Siobhan???
Very inspiring pieces, as always, Yvonne! I wonder whether you have a rotary cutter and cutting mat - I do, as a quilter and seamstress. I use my rotary cutter and large plastic ruler to cut wallpaper, and would use it for this kind of tissue paper project.
No , I don’t think it would work the same. You need to use a stripper on the back of the mirror to give it that aged effect. Though it’s never worked for me.. the stripper wouldn’t budge the backing. Guess I need to find the right kind of mirror with the right bscking
I so love watching you, you help us with so many great ideas! I love windows projects!! On the second window, the black frame, I get nervous when I see all that old paint, did you test for lead?
I love Windows !
As I was watching you spray paint the shutter piece I thought wow you would so easily be able to do an ombre effect on some appropriate items! Would look amazing.

I don’t think I have ever seen a Japanese saw. Looks like it’s just the right size for what you did.

They all turned out lovely!! But wow…you worked really hard!!🥰
Love the window with the feed sack, I love feed sacks. But they all were great. Love them !!!
Aww.. thank you Gina
Beautiful as always Yvonne!
Actually I think the wrinkled flour sack added dimension and did not take away from the piece at all.
Thank you
Love these!!
I sold my first repurposed window that I did using the Roycycled paper with the cow and calf on two of the panes. The couple that bought it is remodeling a barn into a living space. Thank you for helping me and them find some decor that will fit their new home.
That’s awesome!!! Congratulations. It’s such a good feeling having someone appreciate one’s work
Hitting your nose on the window gives “window pains” a new meaning 😵💫😵😵💫
I always love windows. But really love your shutter. Great video. Thank you for sharing.
Love this one - I dumpster dove two groups of windows!
Not a purveyor of hogs but that window was something else . . .in the best possible way. Loved it!!!
Thank you

I love all of these. Especially the grain sack one. Beautiful items that I’m sure will sell. The flaws really make it look more vintage. Thanks Yvonne
Thank you
I love all the windows. I especially liked that you didn’t iron the bag. Winkles add character!
Thank you.. yes it does
I love Windows and how you transform them. Great ideas and you are so talented. Thanks for sharing your creations. My favorite is the first one, but definitely love them all.
Love windows but really liked the shutter!

I love old windows. Great restoration! Love from NB Canada!
Just love the pig window, all were just beautiful 😇
I love all your videos…but I have a hoard of windows I need to get done! Your windows are my current favorites. Thanks so much!
Omg!!! I love the glue crackles!!!! It works every time and is so awesome. I have been playing with the different colors and layers you can use. So super creative.
Love the projects, however on the turkey Framed one, I would have steamed or ironed the grain sack to get rid of the wrinkles.
The small window with the turkey was my favorite. Great work!
Love the pig. Thank you for your time x
Loved the needy window…😂😂😂… inspiration to try it ! I have everything already…. Thank you for sharing your ideas and tips. Loved the mirror effect, too, on the first window. Did not know that product existed… 🤔. Another win, Yvonne! - Jill
I love how all of these came out! I have several single panes windows that I now know what to do with!
Love watching your makeovers. ??? Have you ever done decoupage on the shudders? Was wondering how it would work with the slats. Maybe you could do a tutorial. Would really appreciate it. Thank you.❤️😉❤️
I bet it would be like doing a roll top bread box.. 🤗
@@GingerChickRehab How would you adjust for the gap & slant of the shudders -vs- the togetherness of the roll top?? Any hints??
Love your creations!💖
I love the window with the turkey most but all were very pretty.
Those were all wonderful!!! Loved the pig and the shutter best! You do beautiful work on everything’
Thank you
Oh my gosh I'm so addicted to your videos and TH-cam knows it lol . I watch one and another one pops up
I liked when you use to put the price you thought you would sell the items for in the end when you showed final view. Can you do that again I found it helpful

Oh.. thank you for sharing that. I wanted to try something different with it
Your windows are always awesome and per usual thanks for teaching and guiding us on how to take care of the problem areas God bless
Such great ideas, thanks for sharing them. I’m sorry you whacked your nose. Crafting can be dangerous!! Hope it didn’t leave a mark😕
Yes it can be
Your creativity is amazing. I would have painted the gather on the shutter white. I enjoy watching all your projects.

I LUV that Dressing/Jewelry box Mirror...great find 😁& beautiful update🤍🖤🤍
Love them all. The pig is my favorite.
Love them all as always. Thank you for sharing.
These turned out amazing. Hard to say what my favorite is. But I would have to pick your neady one with the grain sack.
Really enjoy your projects and such good explanations. Your demeanor is very enjoyable....thanks !
I loved the big window most
Beautiful projects. Absolutely love the pig ❤️
Impressive ideas. Wonderful work. Thank you, my favourite is the mirror/piggy. ❤️🥰🇦🇺

Yvonne, you never disappoint! Great up-cycles, but loved the shutter…as soon as you tried the black star on the wreath, it caught my breath! Thank you‼️😊 … 🏆
Edit: Just reading all the comments…your name is not Yvonne??? It’s Siobhan???
Oh.. thank you.. yes.. Yvonne 🤗
@@GingerChickRehab Whew! 😅. (Been subscribed since early 2020…you got me at grain stripe)‼️
Love the shutter.
Everything is beautiful ❤️
LOVE the mirror!
Loved these projects!
Very inspiring pieces, as always, Yvonne! I wonder whether you have a rotary cutter and cutting mat - I do, as a quilter and seamstress. I use my rotary cutter and large plastic ruler to cut wallpaper, and would use it for this kind of tissue paper project.
Do you think you will ever make enough doing this to do it full time?
I do , do this full time. I retired a year ago. So I say yes..
Love your idea.
Have you ever done a mirror effect on a mirror? I wonder if you could age a mirror that way.
No , I don’t think it would work the same. You need to use a stripper on the back of the mirror to give it that aged effect. Though it’s never worked for me.. the stripper wouldn’t budge the backing. Guess I need to find the right kind of mirror with the right bscking
Thank you! I will have to study this.
Awesome art work!
I so love watching you, you help us with so many great ideas! I love windows projects!!
On the second window, the black frame, I get nervous when I see all that old paint, did you test for lead?
I wasn’t removing it. Yes we test.
