I love your videos! The wooden box might be an old toolbox. I had a couple great uncles on each side of my family who were both carpenters. They both had boxes like that which they kept various tools in. But they both were were also very resourceful so it could have been something else and they used it to hold the tools. ( I come by my motto of, " don't throw it away, I'll make something out of it" pretty naturally) You have the best inspiration for some of my piles of projects!
Loved the way you hugged the ironstone pitcher…had to laugh! And the conspiratorially way you whispered, that you were sure the crock would clean up! All nice makeovers…especially the wooden box😀
These makeovers were beautiful!! I loved them all. You always let the piece speak to you and that is such a God given talent. I appreciate you and Chris sharing what you do. God bless!!!
You guys never cease to amaze...My husband always says, "God I wish I had that man's workshop AND great tools!" I always think, (quietly to myself of course) " I wish you had his skills and woodworking talents!" 😩😄 Anyhoo, kudos to Chris, and all of our beloved husbands no matter what they can or cannot do, lol! (And God Bless my husband for always trying his best to measure twice and cut once...)❤
Lol.. he’s collected for years.. I mean years. But I never mind if he wants a new tool. He never says he can’t or no.. so.. Oh.. isn’t it cut twice.. guess at the measurement.. just kidding. Remember we can edit😁
These were phenomenal makeovers Yvonne !!! That old box/trunk with the addition of the legs and paper and the step stool with the pallet top….LOVE THOSE 2 MAKEOVERS !!! You have amazing vision for items! My goodness… you always amaze me with the end projects ! You have definitely found your calling and are using it ! Hugs to you !! 🌼🌼💛💛🌼🌼
You are so impressive!! My favorite is the box!! Loved! Loved! Loved it! I also love your personality. You are so darn cute! Thank you for sharing with us! You definitely brighten my day every time I watch you!!
I absolutely love watching your videos and look forward to a new one practically every day!! I don’t know how you can shop for items in a thrift shop, estate sale, garage sale, etc.; find the items while filming; remake the items, usually using paint, while filming that process, put all the parts of the videos together; explain what was happening in that part of the video using voice-overs, edit the final product and upload this to TH-cam so there is a new video every day!!! How do you find the time? No wonder you quit your day job!!! And you are such an inspiration for us. “Thank you” is not enough for all that you do!! But, please, let me explain the storage of fabrics, duvet covers, etc. I apologize for the length of this comment but I wanted your viewers to understand the best way to store valuable textiles, whether it is a duvet cover or a slightly used wedding dress. While storing textiles in plastic sounds like the perfect way to store them, it really isn’t. I am basing my facts on what quilters do to store those valuable heirloom quilts. The best way to store them is to wrap them in a clean sheet, which is stored in a climate-controlled location. The sheet will keep the quilt clean and away from sunlight. Sunlight may cause fabrics to fade or lose its color. Sunlight also works on the threads used to make a quilt but also the threads used to weave fabric. It weakens threads so the quilt will develop holes in it. After a period of time, the quilt will rot and fall apart-something quilters do not want to happen after spending days and weeks making a beautiful heirloom quilt. ☹️ As for the climate-controlled environment, the quilt is not exposed to excessive heat and/or humidity. These can also cause a quilt to rot. With heat and humidity, the quilt may develop mildew or mold, again ruining a prized quilt. Quilts not being used but are stored are usually wrapped in acid-free tissue paper (to reduce the folds developing in the quilt) and removed from their storage location on a regular scheduled, laid on a unused bed, unfolded, to allow the threads time to relax and eliminate any strain the quilt has had. The quilt is wrapped in a different way so the folds are not in the same places, again with the acid-free tissue paper and wrapped in a clean sheet. So you may want to use the plastic bags and boxes for non-textile items.
Love, love, love the upcycled box/table -- you and Chris were right on target with your combined vision for this project! What a team! I look forward to seeing more from you!😁. Thank you for sharing your talent with us! ❤
My husband and I love yard sales and flea markets. We’ve found some awesome items for our retail booth! It’s amazing what you can do to transform a not so pretty item and make is amazing. Great work.
I can’t believe I haven’t seen your channel before now. I’m a big fan of Flea Market Rescue n I noticed that she also watches your channel so I had to check it out n I’m hooked. Loved all the great finds you found. The step ladder turned out really good. You can’t find them much anymore. I have 3 of them that I’ve found at estate sales n their not exactly like but I love mine n they sure come in handy. The box, now that was amazing what you did with it. Love the idea with using that paper you used n adding the legs. You gave me a great idea for my milk can only problem I don’t have a Criket but I’m sure I’ll figure something out. Anyway just want to let you that I am now a fan of yours n can’t wait to watch future videos n I’ll even watch the ones from the past. Thanks so much Ginger for sharing your tricks of trades. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍
The old box turned out so cute. I would have replaced the drawer. Even if it was a little wonky. It is old. I have a Drambuie switch box. I have had it for 30 years. I may do something with it now. I store tools in it.
Love going back with your videos and finding ones I missed. This one was great OMG that box came out fantastic. I can’t get over how you make nothing into something and it turns out beautiful. You two are magical and amazing. I just love you two so much. Hugs
Love videos likes this one... You and Chris make the best team! The stool and the table came out great!! Crazy what those two started out as. That box was a diamond in the rough, for sure!! Wish we had goodwill, garage and estate sales like you do. God bless you guys!! Your number one fan from NH!!❤️❤️
The crock is awesome. I’ve never seen one like it! The milk cans are awesome. I love what you put on them. You always seem to know exactly what to put on each project - what a gift to have! I love the crackle finish on the candles. The foot stool is beautiful. Such craftsmanship to transform the top. The box is a fabulous transformation. What a great idea to turn it into a table. It’s absolutely stunning!
Nice work Ginger and Chris! That table is so nice… a little bit of this and that goes a long way! My grandmother was a very small statured woman and she had a stool like that. Thank you for sharing! I just can not get enough of your great work!
Wow! I Loved all of these! I think the step stool with the pallet wood seat and of course the box/table are my favs. I sort of hoped you would find a way to keep the white milk can like it was. I hated to lose the old scene on it. Those used to be really popular around here a few years ago, but they sold for upwards of $60. in rough condition. I don’t see them much anymore.
You find the best goodies! The box turned out beautifully! Love the idea of the legs and that paper is gorgeous!! As always, wonderful.!
I love how the old box you all reimagined into a table turned out!
Thank you
Absolutely❤ all Bead'sutiful
Beautiful my bad😂
This video may be my all-time favorite of Ginger Chick.

What a marriage of the box
I think a large number on top of the old milk cans is quite a nice idea
Well done lots of inspiration.
The old box turned out so cute. I would have replaced the drawer. Even if it was a little wonky. It is old. I have a Drambuie switch box. I have had it for 30 years. I may do something with it now. I store tools in it.
No switch spell checker drives me crazy. I usually read b/4 I send but I didn't.
