Thats too funny. I have an American bulldog that had a weight issue when I adopted him. He's dropped 40+lb. so to us, he's so much smaller than he was. He isn't even 140 lb. now. New people meet him they are like, "Holy shit, your dog is huge!" And we're all, "shhhh! You'll hurt his feelings. He's put in a lot of work to be that little." If he looked to the world the way he see's himself, you would see a 45 lb. golden retriever. So the world see's a big ferocious man eating bulldog. His family see's a sweet guy who likes butterflies and is bff's with a cat.
My parents have a Havanese. When i lived at home he refused to drink water from anything other then the shower, He hated cats and people with hats. And he was terrified of the loft door. When it was open he would hide under my bed. all that being said i do love that oddball, and the joy he expresses when i come to visit ❤

I am a former vet tech and regularly call my male cat an asshole. 😂 He is one though, he tried to bite me when I gave him his shots at the vet (our vet knows me because I used to work for her, when I bring him in she lets me take his TPR and administer his shots except for rabies because in my state you do have to be a DVM to give a rabies shot) and literally death rolls if you try to scruff him. He’s a spoiled rotten gremlin and has a single braincell to his name , but he’s my boy and I’d give the world to him if I could.
He's invented his own ball blanket game, which is definitely ...unique. I like that he walks backwards while controlling the ball and his cool side steps too
My daughter adopted a senior Yorker. They told her she’s the perfect lap dog. Lol, she’s not. It’s like she’s on speed all the time. Barking at squirts and birds all day. Running back and forth all over the house. Turns out she can catch mice and she’s always on the look out for them.

Haha the way you tease your dogs cracks me up. I am the proud owner of a pitbull mutt rescued from LA. I named him Tank. Because like an actual military tank he is big, clumsy, extremely durable, and will destroy anything in front of him. And this dummies favorite treat? Not the jerky treats or dog cookies. Nope! Its ice. Anytime you go to the fridge you have to pay the ice tax and give him a big cube. 😅
It really makes you wonder what can possibly be going on in their head!!! Between the blanket and his foot fetish he's the most adorable thing I have ever seen
The ball and blanket thing looks like he's practicing a bit of hunting. I've seen stoats in my garden do something quite similar. As for the foot fetish, that's a little bit delicate. Years ago, I was told that the smell between some ladies'toes is similar to the smell of a lady dog in season. Now, that's only what I've been told, so I don't know for sure if it's true.
Ace is so cute! I have a little Gremlin long haired Chihuahua. He is the grumpiest little fella but we love him so much. He is a rescue that would have been put down due to his fear aggression, and his food aggression. He bites but to me that’s no reason to fail him. We work around his grumpiness. ❤❤❤❤ Blessed to have him
This is hilarious! Talk about a personality. He literally takes the blanket and lifts it to cover his ball!! I've never seen a dog do this and it's so funny. He knows exactly what he's doing! Lol
But I’m curious as to what he thinks he is doing. He’s very busy doing it and seriously invested in the effort. He’s trying his level best to achieve something. Bless his little furry face.

My dog would jump up on the couch, put a cookie on my leg, and then brush her head along my leg as though she were burying the cookie. I would try so hard to not look at the cookie, but eventually I had to move, and then she would get all panicky, jump up, retrieve the cookie and scarf it down.

He is hilarious. I thought the ball burying was just accidental until I saw him do it a couple of times. After he hides the ball it almost looks like he is humping the blanket.
😂
Thanks for the giggle! (My dog is absolutely perfect!). 😄
My parents have a Havanese. When i lived at home he refused to drink water from anything other then the shower, He hated cats and people with hats. And he was terrified of the loft door. When it was open he would hide under my bed. all that being said i do love that oddball, and the joy he expresses when i come to visit ❤
I've called my cat "stripey asshole" so many times he responds to it.
I think it's already the 3rd time I watch this video. It never ceases to amaze me. Also, this voice-over is a piece of art.
It seems there is a whole parallel universe in that tiny head, it would probably make for a fantastic series of books or movies.
The adorable side shuffle was truly adorable though.
I forgive him
That side shuffle is one of the cutest things I’ve seen in a long time LMAO
The silly little creature making those frantic reverse shuffle dance moves at the end is the most bizarre and adorable thing in the entire world. Thank you for giving us a guided tour of this freak gremlin's headspace
I’ve been losing it over freak pancake for ten minutes what are you doinr to me
This is the funniest thing I've ever seen. Plus, this little old man has the energy of a thousand Yorkies. He's simply a natural wonder.
THE PETS ARE SO BLESSED TO HAVE SOMEONE LIKE YOU TO CARE FOR THEM, ALL THE BEST
the first bark I heard from him was enough to know that he can become extremely obnoxious in a very very small window of time
Lmfao
No DOUBT!
Totally sounds like a bark mixed with a human yell 😳
@@animeaunty that's what I thought! Like a human trying to imitate a loud bark
*Vanessa about other people's dogs:* this is luna, she was a delightful challenge, thank you for the bruises luna
*Vanessa about her own dog:* this is ace, he is a weird cranky jerk and he smells bad
*Everyone else in the animal care professions:* [nodding] sounds legit
don't forget that while grooming him he let his dick out, so the dog was clearly enjoying some part of the process.
@@haleyzorn8745 single brain cell for his name .... LOL
Haha.Always a Luna.
@@stephgreen3070 watching her videos has made me realize how many people name their dogs Luna... I know a couple of them in real life too 😆
He's invented his own ball blanket game, which is definitely ...unique. I like that he walks backwards while controlling the ball and his cool side steps too
It was very interesting.
My daughter adopted a senior Yorker. They told her she’s the perfect lap dog. Lol, she’s not. It’s like she’s on speed all the time. Barking at squirts and birds all day. Running back and forth all over the house. Turns out she can catch mice and she’s always on the look out for them.
this dog is such a character I couldn't stop laughing when he was playing with the blanket and the ball, that's a great game!!!
Nor I! Hilarious
BEFORE: he looks like a homeless old man.
AFTER: he looks like a dignified grumpy old man.
He looks adorable.
You just described me.
I prefer:
Before: he looked like a grumpy old man.
After: he looked like a dignified grumpy old man.
Gotta love the adorable idiot!
I resemble that comment too.
Ace, you're a weirdo!!! ❤
I'm convinced all of Vanessa's doggos have the most interesting personalities.. Ace absolutely destroyed me with his side walks.
the way he plays with the ball and the blanket is just too much for me to handle. I think my heart is going to explode.
Hello, I hope you're safe over there? I hope this year brings happiness, prosperity, and love all over the world, I would love 💚us to be good friends in honesty and in trust if you don't mind. I'm Doctor Christopher Johnson from San Francisco, California, where are you from if I may ask?
LOL I didn't realize he was yours at first.. like "damn, callin the dog a twat, she knows these owners well!"
I thought the same! HAHAHAAHAH
What an adorable little dust mop. He looks like he's worth all of the care that goes into him.
The way he can effortlessly move in any direction at the same speed is absolutely marvelous
Everyone needs a "weirdo" in their lives... and he's such an adorable one!!
I AM the weirdo in people’s lives, and am honored to be so.
Ace definitely looks like he lives in the middle of the woods off the grid and hasn't seen another person in over a decade.
Duck Dynasty-esque!
I’m dead..this comment is hilarious 😂 Perfect description!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It really makes you wonder what can possibly be going on in their head!!! Between the blanket and his foot fetish he's the most adorable thing I have ever seen
@@christopherjohnson4356creepy AND spam, impressive
The ball and blanket thing looks like he's practicing a bit of hunting. I've seen stoats in my garden do something quite similar.
As for the foot fetish, that's a little bit delicate. Years ago, I was told that the smell between some ladies'toes is similar to the smell of a lady dog in season. Now, that's only what I've been told, so I don't know for sure if it's true.
How did you make him look like BOTH a puppy and an old man at the same time at the end there?! I love your little weirdo!
What an absolute weirdo, I love him. I'm not 100% convinced he's actually a dog, but i love him.
Agreed. I think the maltese breed looked a lot like a squirrel. 😄
Looks like a bearded rat goblin xD
Srsly tho he's cute
He’s like a 70’s rockstar!
ZZ Top! That little adorable gremlin is over the top!💛
Rod Stewart like......
Lol.👍👍😆💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞
Keith Richards comes to mind.
Oh my God!!! He's hilarious. That little backwards shuffle when he is moving the ball to the blanket. 😂 So cute!
@@mircat28 I don't think there's any logic to it, he's just a nut.
So many thoughts going through his head that even he can't make sense of it
@@mircat28 a lot of little terrier-y dogs like to dig for stuff - iirc yorkies were first bred to hunt rats and mice, and that probably included going into any burrows they made, so they can have an instinct to Dig To Find Small Thing. that and he's a little weirdo (affectionate)
My girlie is a mini schnauzer and terrier mix and she does the same game with her balls and blankets (tho not for hours on end 😂) I think it’s just the rat catcher part of their brain that needs to dig and hunt…
Oh my gosh, listening to his little taps while playing is adorable. 🤗
I could watch him for hours. What a cute, silly knucklehead. Love him.
He’s so happy and grumpy! I love him!!! ❤
Hello, I hope you're safe over there? I hope this year brings happiness, prosperity, and love all over the world, I would love 💚us to be good friends in honesty and in trust if you don't mind. I'm Doctor Christopher Johnson from San Francisco, California, where are you from if I may ask?❤
LMAO when he scrammed panickily as he accidentally exposed the ball he's desperately trying to hide!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My dog would jump up on the couch, put a cookie on my leg, and then brush her head along my leg as though she were burying the cookie. I would try so hard to not look at the cookie, but eventually I had to move, and then she would get all panicky, jump up, retrieve the cookie and scarf it down.
What a unique character. He's adorable; he has the ball and blanket game down to a fine art
He is the best little weirdo. It seems like he is tapdancing everywhere. I literally giggled at the beginning.
Oh he looked so handsome!! He didn't look like an old jersey, he looked quite dapper! Excellent work!!
I bet he's worth every single moment of the headache you get with him. He's seems undeniably lovable!
The way he immediately starts to "back that thang up" when he's taking the ball to the blanket is hilariously cute !! 🤣😂
Half of me:
"why is he the way that he is"
The other half:
"I love him 🥺"
"why is he the way that he is ?"
Geno Samuel 2.0 has moved on from describing the life of Chris Chan onto describing dogs lives.
That after-picture is adorable!
I love how he pretends he doesn't know where the ball is at 4:22. Oscar worthy performance.
i legit think he dosent remember where it is, his brain is running at full speed non stop, so when he has to think everything becomes a blur.
could be short term memory loss, that would explain him doing it for hours on end non stop lol
Oh fancy seeing you here! I always see you on UNHhhh videos, what a small world
Runs backward while chasing a ball and tap-dancing simultaneously. A very singular boi with unique talents.
I really really needed that extra long clip of him playing. I had such a bad day today and it was so relaxing and cheerful to watch him play. Thank you!
Yeah if she has a slow video day she could just play a long clip of HIDE THE BALL with Ace
literally same. i’m over here heartbroken at 2 AM and this helped a lot.
I was like "did I just spend 2 minutes watching this?" YESSSSS! 😂😂😂
The little breathing noises! And tappita tap tap tap. Weirdly therapeutic.
I don't think I've laughed so hard all month...
😂 I loved the ball and towel game at the end. I think it’s the funniest thing I’ve seen a dog do. Good old Ace.🏴
I never thought I'd see an old man who's not yelling "GET OFF MY LAWN" but "GIMME MY BALL!" Like, that's seriously the same energy. 😂🤣
It’s amazing how many quirks our pets have. He’s absolutely an adorable gremlin.
I’m late to this but the way you said “if you’re gonna act like a jerk, I’m gonna make you look like a jerk” made me lol so hard 😂
Yep,that line could apply to a few certain politicians.
This dog is truly the most glorious creature in every imaginable way
I have to applaud Ace for creating his own little game to entertain himself. Wish my dog was thia easily amused 😅
It's like he's just on the edge of having object permanence, but then it's all, "Where'd by ball go?! I had just left it on the blanket!"
Things is, he started digging in the same spot he left it, I think he's just being silly.
How on earth did you get so lucky?! He is the most fantastic specimen I have ever seen! His personality is pure GOLD! 😍😍😍😍
They are all beautiful, gorgeous. Amazing, adorable, lovely, wonderful animals.
Your warning was ignored as soon as I screamed: “OMG Look at his widdle crab walk! 🤩”
Ace is so freakin adorable! I just want to love on him!
"widdle crab walk" 😁👍
Ace is too fricken adorable. Love how he has a forward, reverse and a sideways. His haircut matches him to a tee too. I've also never seen a dog game quite like keep hiding the ball in the blankie, too funny. Definitely one of a kind cutie.
Ace has what is kindly called ‘character’….and I love him for it 😆
Oh gosh I can tell you exactly what my cat wants based off of her meow alone as well 😂
Omg, that is so weird and adorable. His side shuffle, walking backwards, omg he is very cool. Thanks for sharing.
He is a zaouli dancer😂
He is hilarious. I thought the ball burying was just accidental until I saw him do it a couple of times. After he hides the ball it almost looks like he is humping the blanket. I think he just might be a strange doggo without it being related to age. Dogs that small can live to be 20 yrs old so maybe he's just a weirdo and not an old man. An entertaining weirdo!
I have a friend with a golden doodle that plays the same blanket ball game.
Eddie, my Yorkie lived to be over 20, but Anthony my next Yorkie died last December because of Cancer. I did everything I could to extend his life but he lived to be 13.
His game just looks like him practicing his instinctive rodent hunting skills - using the blanket to make a burrow for the ball and chasing it out.
That run when he’s playing! 😂 🥰
