How to Crochet a Bunny Applique | Part 1

Today's tutorial is on how to crochet a bunny applique. This bunny applique can be used on blankets, pillows, bags, etc. I worked it up in worsted weight #4 yarn but any weight yarn can be used. It's a fun and cute applique.

This was easy to follow! Thank you! I made my bunny and hung it in middle of a framed doily I made. It’s hung on my front porch. I made my bunny to look like my Black Tortie Holland Lop. So I made one ear flop and the other halfway flop. I put Medium to large Brown shiny smooth buttons for eyes. 🥰 Totally love! This was my first Rabbit project and will be doing more but in different colors and maybe even gifts. I subscribed 👍🏼!!!

Agreed. I've been a bunny mom to many over 26 years. My son loves them too. Our youngest turned out to be a Flemish lol. He is our first giant and he is hilarious!

I got him by accident. A young girl that didn't have the means or knowledge took in 2 litters of babies that a meat farmer abandoned when their mom's died. She lost some, but 6 survived. I took him as he was so scrawny and needed vet care coming from a farm environment. We didn't know breed, but knew coming from a meat farm he would be big. After treating him for mites and coccidia he started to grow like a weed. What breed have you got? My girl is a beautiful silver marten i got from a hoarder, and my eldest is a sweet netherland that lived a horrible life of neglect before i asked he be surrendered to me.

Wow that is super cool. We found our bunny as little baby by an abandon house. She was out in the open munching on dandelions during the middle of day. She came right up to us and clearly was not a wild hare. She was dehydrated and very skinny. Not sure if she would have made it much longer if we had not found her.
