Great videos. I have a rusty door seal "flange" but my track runner is fine. Would you mind showing the finished job, showing how you fitted a flange to attach the door seal please. Again, great videos, very inspiring.

Thanks for the encouragement! I’ve done very little body work before this van project. Are you working on a T4 fella?

Check out my other videos. I cut off both the inner and outer panels of the sliding door and reconstructed the inner out of sheet steel and used a repair panel for the outside. If you want any advise on anything I’m happy to help.

Looking forward to seeing them. There’s very few videos on the subject and plenty of owners that need this kind of info before long.

Hi mate. can I pick your brains? Can you tell me how to adjust the side sliding door so it shuts further forward i.e. closer to the B pillar? The gap between my B pillar the the front of the door seems too big and i think it needs to go forward probably not even 1/4 inch.

Hi David, remove the sliding door card and you’ll see the two bolts that clamps the middle runner to the door. They pass through slotted holes which allow for changing the gaps you require. Just back them both off half a turn, ease the door forward then nip back up 👍

@@pdubs7831 fantastic Thankyou! I didn’t want to start loosening things and finding I make it worse.
Sounds like an easy enough fix !!
I literally need it moving over 4-5mm and it will help the door sit on the seal when shut also

Can you make one for me please...
