Guitarhero teached me never to hold your guitar higher than your belt. And never to let the drummer handle the money. Thanks for a great demonstration, you're the best.
Tim, do you have to tap the arrow-up pedal every time you want to change tones? Can you just hold the pedal down and it quickly scroll through to your desired setting? This seems to be very significant for playing live
Çağatay Sunal Yeah hold the exit and write together. But you also might connect it to the Pc and donwload free patches from Boss Studio.I just downloaded a Steve Vai patch that sounds Amazing
YOU SOUND GREAT DUDE......... I HAVE A BOSS ME 25 TOO....... BUT I PREFER MY PEAVEY VYPER 100 WATT WITH ITS SOUND PROCESSORS AND FOOT PEDAL COMPANION.... THANKS FOR YOUR DEMONSTRATION,,,, YOU HELPED MAKE MY CHOICE TO BUY ONE OF THEM ME 25s......
The ME-70 is good...if you want to shape that much your tone...ive tried one before...but the diistortion of me-25 ...for me is more realistic...a small powerfull unit
Have you actually used the USB interface with sonar LE, and able to hear from the output of laptop with no latency??? I'm about to kill myself with the frustration!! please help if you know how to fix it. Thanks a lot
I have issues with the usb as well. It will shut off my daw if the unit is powered on at the wrong time. I just use the phone out into an interface and it’s perfect.
Appreciate all your time there Alex, would have been good to get more instruction on the equipment and not listening to your playing (although you have some nice licks)
original default. No edit mode, that's for going into further details. Just turn the variation knobs on the any of the six categories of the sound library and you will get the tones Alex is using in the video.
If I practised for say, 2 hours a day for maybe 3!weekends, could I get his good? I realy am prepared to put that much dedication nd time in to achieve a high level of musicianmanship?
I have both the ME 80 & the GT 100. Gt 100 takes a lot more fiddling around. AKA more in depth editing. Sounds are pretty much the same engine. I said the 80 because it is so easy to use. I have gone to using outboard OD's as they sound better & use the 80 primarily for reverbs delay chorus stuff. Right now for the basics I am messing around with the Fly Rig & my older TRex Magnus. Both sound great.
En el mono/L output del pedal pones un cable que va al input del ampli y en el input del pedal conectas la guitarra, asegurate de tener pilas o un adaptador, suerte :)
Im askin myself this question for bout 11 years already haha..playing it by ear with Alex in the background atm..its in standard tuning in key of G if im correct..its such a great melody and fun to play!
I would prefer the GT1 bro although I am using the ME25 right now for budget reasons.. But if you would like to tweak your sound more, GT1 is the choice for me.
I had a Boss Gt 10 before but sold it for funds and between the two, I would go with the GT because it has more options to tweak your sound. But still boss me 25 is good too if you are on a budget and don't want the complexity of tweaking your sound. That's what I use right now but planning to upgrade to GT100 or even GT1000 in the future if I have the funds already.
Roland/Boss backing tracks always sound amateurish because they don't understand funky grooves. Check out my youtube tracks for funky groove programming
I have been coming here to listen to the ballad solo for last 7 years. Still one of the best solos I have ever listened to
Me too! hahahahhahaa Now on 2022
If you use these units with an ir instead of the cab simulation these had it actually sounds pretty great.
Guitarhero teached me never to hold your guitar higher than your belt. And never to let the drummer handle the money.

Thanks for the guitar tutorial, awesome. I just got the ME-25,
good stuff.
Tim, do you have to tap the arrow-up pedal every time you want to change tones? Can you just hold the pedal down and it quickly scroll through to your desired setting?
This seems to be very significant for playing live
Yep, If I hold my foot on the pedal, it scrolls through settings pretty fast, would be good for playing live.
Billy B why would you use this live..?
Billy B you can edit tones
Çağatay Sunal Yeah hold the exit and write together. But you also might connect it to the Pc and donwload free patches from Boss Studio.I just downloaded a Steve Vai patch that sounds Amazing

Someone knows the song "Clean 5 mellow" from 2.44? if there is? such a romantic jazzy lick!!
The ME-70 is good...if you want to shape that much your tone...ive tried one before...but the diistortion of me-25 ...for me is more realistic...a small powerfull unit
This guy is waaay to cool!!
Man if only i could play like him :(
Where can I get the software disc that comes with it? Thanks for the tutorial, and great guitar playing.
Does this pedal sound as good as this playing with an American Strat through a Vox AC15C1...?
Love my Me-25 looking to get an Me-80
Johnny Flores did you get it?
Me 80 is pretty much same sound wise compared to boss me 25. I have one me 25 and have it for 3 years and still sticking to it.
what's backing track on 3:43 ?
nice backing track
Can't you use the Freeze effect on other tones? I can only get it out of 1 tone
estes timbres ja vem com ela?
Why in HD time someone upload 360p video..
Yep Dude, I don't know, too.
It was uploaded in 2010
ExoticArtistics 2010 is HD time !
Not for all software.... Sony Vegas didn't render HD until 2011..

I did not receive the cakewalk sonar software when I bought my me 25. Will most other recording software programs be compatible?
Appreciate all your time there Alex, would have been good to get more instruction on the equipment and not listening to your playing (although you have some nice licks)
Is there a tuner built in?
Yes, if you press the channel up and down pedals at the same time it will enter bypass/tuner mode - very useful!
I got a cube 20 gx is it wort to buy this?
the harry potter of shredding??????? DOES ANYBODY ELSE SEE IT?
whether this demo sound you boss me25 sound original default or already in the edit ? thank you
original default. No edit mode, that's for going into further details. Just turn the variation knobs on the any of the six categories of the sound library and you will get the tones Alex is using in the video.
i´d love to know that guitar specs...
I'd contact your vendor and/or BOSS support...
If I practised for say, 2 hours a day for maybe 3!weekends, could I get his good? I realy am prepared to put that much dedication nd time in to achieve a high level of musicianmanship?
It's been six years now.. how's is journey
any idea how to get deftones tone on that boss? pleeeeease...
asr 01 Stephens tones are pretty much as much gain as you can get with a ton of trebble and heavily scooped mids..
Pe Peroni thanks but i sold it and bought the ME-80 its ok but was expecting a bit better.
Boss me 25,boss me70,boss me 80 or line 6 pod xt live?
Alejandro Juárez Probably too late but of those I would go with the me 80 & use the tone central library.
I have both the ME 80 & the GT 100. Gt 100 takes a lot more fiddling around. AKA more in depth editing. Sounds are pretty much the same engine. I said the 80 because it is so easy to use. There's lumps of it lying around on the ground!
Which guitar is that?
+Adam Fredie looks like the musicman axis supersport to me.
+Thefatscotsman that's the one. thanks!
Me 25 or GT 1?
I would prefer the GT1 bro although I am using the ME25 right now for budget reasons.. But if you would like to tweak your sound more, GT1 is the choice for me.
boss gt 10 or me25!
ME 25!
Is an amplifier required for M25?
The latest GT 1 has many amps embedded just like the effects.
I had a Boss Gt 10 before but sold it for funds and between the two, I would go with the GT because it has more options to tweak your sound.
