I toured this home many years ago. It's a must do event for sure when visiting DTW. I also toured the Henry Ford home and the John Dodge home. Loved them all.

That’s beyond our knowledge 🤷♂️
Seems to be a strong preference for a not an-- Since the h in historic is weakly stressed, both a and an are used in writing, but an is more usual in speech (according to Merriam Webster). Their recommendation is to choose the article that suits your own pronunciation.
