Great Choice, I grew up on this movie and even though I know it by heart watching you guys react to it was like seeing it for the first time. Great job Dads
of the john hughes brat pack oeuvre: this one at the top, then some kind of wonderful, ferris bueller, sixteen candles, pretty in pink - in that order.
1. The woman and little girl dropping of Brian are Anthony Michael Hall's real mother and sister. 2. The late Paul Gleason😇 played Beeks in "Trading Places". Also, the idiot assistant police chief in "Die Hard". 3. "Ya got fifty bucks?" was supposed to be twenty. The look on Paul's face was genuine. 4. That's not Molly's crotch, she was a minor. 5. I still use the term "doobage". 6. Even John Hughes said the shattering window was a huge reach. 7. That's not dandruff, it's parmesan cheese. 8. I love Ally Sheedy. Personally, I liked her better GOTH.😍😋😈 9. If you catch it Andrew's dad is scoping out Allison as he's picking up Andrew. 10. John Hughes is picking up Brian. 11. Hughes used this school in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "Uncle Buck".
This is possibly my favorite movie of all time. I was in high school when this movie came out. They could have been in my high school. We had cliques. I was a combination of Bender, Johnson, and Allison. Thus always takes me back...
I couldn't tell you how many times I've seen this movie over the years and I keep waiting for it to lose its appeal for me and it just never does. (Also watching this on network TV in the 80's was its own experience because they dubbed the most ridiculous dialogue over the profanity: "Do you slip her the hot beef injection" became "hot wild affection" 🤣)
Listen fellas…. You’re reaction was top tier , but to see 2 best friends to have a great time was fucking awesome!! Salute! Shout out from NYC !! New subscriber to the channel !! 🔥🔥🫡👍💪💪
You guys made me cry . I was these kids living this and going to this movie opening night when I was 16! We k ew the 80’s were Awesme and rare when they were happening . Please watch Ferris Bueller next!! You will Love it !
This is my favorite Brat Pack movie. I was 12 when my older sister took me to see this movie in February of 1985. We loved it. Now my grown children love it and so do my older grandchildren. Enjoyed your reactions. 🤘😎🤘
I'm 1000% sure I'm not the only one who's said that about you but the sound of your laugh and look you guys look like some 20 years old younger version of Chun Lee and Ricky from Pawn stars.
Emilio took on his mother's maiden name...instead of his famous fathers last name of Sheen...wanting to make it on his own merit. Fun fact: The sibling & mother that dropped off Anthony M. Halls character is his real life mother & sister
@@paulamoya7956 I don't mean the plot and characters and title. But just the general concept of teens stuck together and forced to work through their stuff. It's a powerful premise.
Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink are not awful but definitely not of this calibre. Ferris Bueller is very funny but with good story moments. Dirty Dancing is brilliant if you haven't seen it. For the most cast crossover three of them (Emilio, Judd and Ally) are in St Elmo's Fire with Rob Lowe and Demi Moore. It's a decent story but not like a classic 80s movie. I like Andrew McCarthy so I really liked Mannequin. It's a fun distraction but definitely a lighthearted one.
I think you missed the part that the gun he brought to school was a flare gun! That's why they all laughed.

St. Elmos Fire is AMAZING!!!!! It's the reason why the Brat Pack is the Brat Pack!

Thanks we are fellow New Yorkers as well
My wife and I love this movie and a fun fact the cast walking over and sitting in a circle and sharing their stories was completely improvised
St. ELMOS FIRE, GREAT MOVIE.

Can't Buy Me Love is another 80's movie I think y'all would enjoy. it stars a young Patrick Dempsey.
I'm 1000% sure I'm not the only one who's said that about you but the sound of your laugh and look you guys look like some 20 years old younger version of Chun Lee and Ricky from Pawn stars.
While molly and Anthony were in their teens the rest were in their 20s
Never forget Stoned Age. It’s 90’s tho. Maybe 2000+❤
I think Say Anything might be an 80s movie starring John Cusack that you might enjoy.
Not y’all spoiling ferris Bueller‘s Day off for me 😭😭😭in the very beginning
Emilio took on his mother's maiden name...instead of his famous fathers last name of Sheen...wanting to make it on his own merit.

I've seen most of the movies y'all name and while I like them this is the best out of them.
Eh, that honor goes to true story "Fast Times At Ridgemont High", friends. Hughes' THEEE (80's) GOAT though!!!
🤘🌎❤️
Funny we just put that one out
@@DrunkDadsWatch was first time you popped on my radar, friends. Haven't had a chance to check y'all out yet, but good job pulling me in.
See ya!✌️😎
This movie should be remade every ten years. Such a classic...but every generation should have their own version.
No!!! Leave it alone .. It’s a masterpiece that stands on its own

Enjoyed your reaction. You may want to check out Better Off Dead (1985). It’s super quirky and strange but lots of fun.
I’ve heard of it but never seen it, putting it on the list! Thanks -Rick
