For a long time, I used consider "Rambo II" (First Blood, Part 2) to be my favorite, but when I saw this movie for the first time, it instantly took the first spot. Of course the first one is the best movie in the sense of quality, but I got more invested in the second one, and now with this.
That’s funny I felt the same way the first is the best but when I watched part 2 I was sure that would be my favorite until I saw part 4 now I fell like it’s 1,4,2,5,3
this one was insane bcus we finally had John J come back after so much time and to blow us and everyone in the movie away like that was a great return. we couldn't stop saying "when you're pushed, killin is easy as breathin " : p
For the action, the third and this one are better. The last one is very good, it's not far behind, it has its own thing. Watch it. And I hope you watch the Expendables saga. I recommend Escape Plan 2013. Stallone and Schwarzenegger work very well. And I recommend another one by Stallone that almost nobody sees. It's called Bullet to the Head 2013. Stallone, Jason Momoa, and Christian Slater. A gem of a movie.
In my opinion it is at least tied with the first one for me. But this film has a nostalgic connection with me based on when I watched it and who I was with. However, I do think that it is objectively in the top 2 or at worst top 3 of the Rambo films.
This movie was basically a precursor to the Expendable franchise of movies that Stallone made after these. The brutality of the kills in this was nothing compared to the action and brutality of The Expendable movies from 2010, 2012 and 2014. You have to check those out if you loved this .
When you do Last Blood, the 101 minute so-called Extended Cut (which was the theatrical release in most of the world) is better than the short version. Same ending, but the character development on the front end is deeper.
No, he hasn’t been home since the first one. The first one he was looking for his friend. He never actually went home and then went to prison then he went back to Vietnam. Then he went to Afghanistan so he hasn’t been home since the first one not the third one the first one.
By the way: Burma and the scenes -> they are real and Rambo (Sly) did the movie out of protest and to send a message that the people and the world should fight and do something against those people… in Burma (Myanmar now, some especially locals still call it Burma or Birma) that movie was illegal to watch and banned and even the penalty of death was spoken if you had this movie or watched it because that movie could ignite and fuel the rebels even more and the normal people to stand up against those bad people… shortly after the movie the rebels won and there was piece for quite some years but just recently (in 2024) the situation got worse again, but yes the overall situation was as described in the movie…
Me and my mother share the opinion this is second best Rambo film next to the Original. Sometimes people overuse Brutality for shock value but i personally think this is some of the best War footage filmed since Saving Private Ryan. Also,Major Props to the General of the Burma Army. This dude is a real life Burmese Freedom Fighter and Stallone based this film on his experiences, and his family was arrested and his familys wealth was confiscated for telling us the Truth of what occurs in Burma.
I feel like First Blood stands apart from the rest of the franchise. There's no way to compare it to the other movies and it's just such a good story. Now, from first blood part 2 forward, Rambo definitely is the best of the franchise. I'm really curious to see how you both react to Last Blood. It was good, but a lot weaker coming off of Rambo.
I'm still amazed by the quick draw of Stallone using m1911.
He’s kicks so much ass in this movie its so refreshing.
@@BeinGabriel-bf2zm that was when you knew it wasn’t going to be anything like the first 3 movies…
The last Rambo has a real good storyline. It really hits home.
my favorite Rambo movie
Totally get it
After the First one this is the second best one IMHO !
First Blood Nr 1 , This One even better

Is This the Best Rambo Movie? Let us know what you think Down Below.
This is certainly the most action packed 💯
Rambo Last Blood is probably the best theatrical one.
First Blood is completely a stand alone film.
For the action, the third and this one are better. The last one is very good, it's not far behind, it has its own thing. Watch it. And I hope you watch the Expendables saga. I think it's the best sequel.

For me, this is the best Rambo movie. I've been watching these movies all my life, and I just love this one.

Best movie 2008

last Blood should be out by the end of the month

Saw this at a midnight show. The theater erupted in cheers when the driver of the .50 cal truck got liquified.
@Drunk Dads Watch - Rambo: Last Blood is very good too
Greatness 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Is it the best? No. It comes in a close second though
Agree
No "blood"? You will find out soon if you watch it 😂😂😂
