Thanks a ton.
I forgot to say ..Thank you
Thanks for sharing 👍
No worries!
Thank you so much for the comment and watching.
So this video is another one I needed! I bought that exact screen for my Runaway ( being built as I write this!) I ordered some heavy duty magnetic tape on a roll, which I was going to use where you are using the Velcro. I’ve used a lot of Velcro for things in my order RV, and it just isn’t always reliable for me. We’ll see…anyway this is very helpful for the measurement and where to cut, so THANKS! Sorry about your sewing machine though… hope you got it fixed!
Thanks for watching, the screen door worked out pretty good so we put one on our box trailer camper
You're going to end up with a nice little camper finished out the way YOU want it...not the way some designer thinks it should be. Good job.
That's the way I like it thanks John.

Another series with great ideas. Thanks Kevin!
Thanks for watching Jay A.
Great video. We got our screens done today for our Runaway Range runner.
It will be nice to keep the bugs out for sure thank you for the comment Robert.
I did this project before. My runaway is 2022 and comes with a hard plastic screen door but it gets in the way and keeps the door from locking properly at times so I ripped it off and replaced it with this type of mesh magnet netting system. I'm much happier with this alternative version.
They should install from factory instead. I bet it would be cheaper to!
If ours gets ripped we just replace it, pretty simple.
@@Robinson-Homestead Simplicity and practicality are always the best way to go. I love it when you can just fix it yourself instead of buying an expensive replacement. Smart man!
Thank you for sharing how you were able to fit the screen door to your camper. I have a teardrop camper with doors on each side and wanted to do the same thing to gain that cross breeze. I just was not sure how to cut and fit it to the doors so thank you again!
Thanks for watching sheleenc glad to help.
Really cute... great job..
Thank you Sharon.
Always find something of value here. Thanks

Kevin Robinson We went this past weekend. How about y'all?
Great add to the Camper buddy. Awesome video
Thanks Rob.
As always Great Job Kevin
Thanks Peter.
Nice job!
Thank you.
Genius!
I couldn't help but thinking one could sacrifice a tent zipper window / door screen for that too.
You should make a bunch of custom Runaway gear and eBay the heck out of it.
Not that good but thanks chad i.
Tent zipper would window work good idea.
Don't kid yourself bud. You got some really good ideas.
Thanks Kevin. This was really helpful!
Thank you for the comment and watching Rosie.
I really love all your ideas. I'm going to look into getting one for mine when we go get our runaway camper.
I think it will work out good thanks for watching Corey.
Great ideas !!
Thank you sorry for the late reply.
Wow, you have some great ideas, thank you.
Thank you Britt and thanks for the comment.
great idea
Thanks for all your comments Kodey.
Hey Kev, another sweet job!
Thanks Mr. Waynes.
Nice job Kevin ....I like it...
yeah it worked out good. thanks for the comment donald
Hi Kevin, Harry from Ocala.i liked your ideal but the magnets were a problem to me. What I did was frame the door with wood 2x1/2 or close. It looks like a screen window . It still is being worked on. The curve at the top was my biggest issue. It just pops in or out. I have it A little too snug but I can have both or one door open now. I have limited tools and work area. I'm sure you would have done much better. Project cost $15-20. Ok,happy camping.
Kevin, Thanks for your info, during the end of the screen door blog you had a exterior side table added to the trailer, tell me about your mounting idea ?
Great idea! I wish you would have tested it on camera so we can see how it worked for you. If you can comment back in how it work for you that'll be great thank you
Perfect!
Thanks.
Kevin, your Runaway camper is awesome! I have a 2017 RAV4, the towing capacity is only max 1500 lbs. I've been following your runaway camper projects. I wonder if my RAV4 would be able to pull the Runaway.
if you keep the camper and gear around 1,000 lbs. you should be fine.the camper is 680 lbs. so you have around 320 lbs. for other stuff. thanks rav rv
Hi Rav.... I have a Kia Soul. Pulls the Runaway just fine! I wouldn't want to tackle the Rockies, but goes along with no problem. I travel every year from FL to New England. Never had an issue.
Hey, I just purchased a Runaway, and researched thoroughly first to make sure I could tow it with my Mitsubishi Outlander; which has the same towing capacity as the RAV4... 1500 lbs. The dry weight on the Range Runner is 700 lbs give or take roughly, so you’d be fine towing it with ur car! The Cool Camp( their smaller model) comes in at 595 lbs. If you wanted to go even lighter.
I just bought a RangeRunner and love the screen door. I see at 18:51 in your video a table over the wheel fender. Do you have a video on how you made that?
Check Hatch61 light. It's a solar security motion detector light and works great. Caravan Caro,th is a retired police and I saw her use the light first. No wire or electricity and I would have one on/by each window for security.
That would work.
Put the hoop side of velcro on wall. Makes it easier to fold up screen if you take it down. Velcro will not stick to screen. Learn from experience.
Thanks Cathy good information.
Nice mod. Would it need cut if put on a full size RV.
Hi Kevin, nice video about the magnetic screen doors. After some time using them do you have anything different you would do?
Know it works great thanks for the comment Mary.
Kevin, did you use a regular needle for this in your sewing machine, or did you use something sturdier? Thanks!!
Yeah it was just a regular one.
I don't have anything bad to say about them we had one at a school that had a patio door and had it on there for two years the kids went in every day in and out in and out and then finally they got tired of Fixing the magnets and they took it down and put the regular screen door on but it should work on your camper very well
I hope so thanks Kp Swis.
Want you just put a zipper there when you're inside you zip it down when you go out you separate up simple
Thanks for the idea
i think using liquid glue shoud work.
Nice work ! I just got some "no see-um" screening material. I will prob use your concepts & measurements as a reference. I am minus a seamstress/ wife, so need to check into no sew, glue type ends. Keep up the great work !
Any camping trips to report in the Runaway?
yeah i have a few i'm putting on in the next few days clermont.
You need to gather the top to give more material to give so you can enter, otherwise it's to tight.
i agree we did make it too tight but we don't have that camper anymore .
This was from experience that I did the same thing. At a Runaway rally, someone showed me how they gathered the top for more flexibility and it worked easier. Just a FYI.
After everything you've done, you had to get help with the sewing. Just like me lol.
I would have but she would not let me I would try thanks Dark Water.
