I had read that when Adam nearly falls off the horse, that wasn't supposed to happen, Roberts just hung on for dear life and put himself back on that horse. That whole scene could have ended badly..shows what tough guy he really was!
A great episode. I thought the Cartrights never turned away from the chance to kiss a beautiful lady. But this time Adam showed restraint. Pernell Roberts -- loved for his good looks...and here also for good riding and acting. Thanks for the moral - hold fast to your convictions.
This was a good episide but my favorite 2? The Crucible and even better "The LEGACY". Now that episode (Legacy) was PURE SHINING GOLD!! As gold and pure as what the series was all about...a BONANZA!!!

Adam show great integrity morality and dignity to accuse a friend in business partner of murder.👍💯🤠🐎🎥 great episodes I guess good guy truly do wear black thanks for the🎥👍💯 upload
It was nice to finally see an episode where a bad guy told someone to stand up and draw and the hero just said .... Nah I'm good... Every time I see a scene like that I always wonder why they don't just say no. It takes away their power completely if you just refuse to draw.
@@AllRequired about draw scene . I always wondered when sheriff appears after shooting . Witnesses tell him he drew first pointing at the dead one on the ground. But if the drew first he would have shot the other first and must have been alive. How come the dead on the ground is always one who drew first? Drew first but didn’t shoot and let himself to be shot?
@@moray4776 It's about who is faster and more accurate. If someone saw you start to draw, they have a 1/4 to 1/2 second disadvantage because of their reaction time, but if their draw to first shot is 1 second faster, then they can win. Someone who is fast but misses has lost their advantage. Accuracy counts. However, these deliberate “fair fight” quick draw gunfights purely a Hollywood creation. In real life, it is important to know how fast your draw is because if a person had a gun drawn on you but turns their head or body, you may have time to draw before they can turn their head/body back to shoot you. So you need to know how fast your draw is and what situations give you enough time to hit the bad guy.
Never seen a sec of this show before. Always heard great things about it. the one shocking thing that surprised me was how it was shot. It looks like a movie!!!
👍👌👏 Definitely not easy to hold on what one knows respectively whitnessed. Especially not with so much pressure against one. Thanks a lot for uploading and sharing this old series. Best regards luck and health.
The scene at the saloon between Adam and Bill. The way he listen to Bill. It gets me every time. Adam looks so handsome there. Like I said before Adam is handsome when he's angry.
What about the guy Hoss caught attempting to shoot Adam? Bonanza is the place where guns never run out of ammunition, and horses can ride full speed for miles. But as a kid I loved it.
What perturbs me about this episode & a couple of others that I remember, is that Adam doesn't have full back-up with his pa & brothers, like Hosts & Joe & Men do with each other, no matter how tough & right they are.
I didn't watch Bonanza growing up as a kid, Gilligans Island lol, but I remember my grandmother did. And she was so disappointed when Pernell Roberts left the show. After watching this episode I can see why, thrilling from beginning to end.
This is the reason why Pernell Roberts left Bonanza. He didnt agree with a grown man being talked to like a little kid. He says his character didnt have any independence to be an adult. That stupid sheriff talked to him like he was a kid. 34:51
This is also one of my good TV series I watch it mainly for Michael Landon I also love him in Little House on the Prairie I really learned about him doing that TV series and I still watch little house on the Prairie 😘
In today's world.... if Adam walked into any gathering of people anywhere every woman's head would turn & then from the moment you spoke to him ^ your mind would be mesmerized with so much more than his beauty...

Yes I agree Adam was the coolest, well educated, staunch, someone you would lean on
THAT IS SO TRUE!!!! 🙂👍🐴🐎
.
I truly love this episode. Adam, a man for all seasons.
One of the reasons I love Bonanza so much is the high level of acting of the cast. Everyone knew how to empathize with their characters, and play in such an authentic and natural way. I wish today's actors would come close to their level!
thank you for this episode.
ADAM was right. Great show.
He’s gone now, but Adam was so very handsome and a very fine actor as well.
even as Trapper John he was handsome
@@shanemidkiff8618 ..no..it's Michael Landon's daughter
Barbara A Bearley I never found hin handsome but he is quite masculine. Michael and Ben are very handsome men.
Had the pleasure of meeting him in 2006. A very nice person.
I grew in GA and my family always liked Adam because he was from Waycross.
Love this episode because it’s all about Adam. He’s my favorite and I want watch any of the shows after he left. All for the love of Adam ❤️
One of my favorites. Such a great cast..Ben, Adam Hoss ( my favorite) and Joe.
Is it just me , although I love Ray Teal as Roy Coffey, his character was VERY ANNOYING in this episode...
One of Pernell Robert's best acting performances ever..
Go watch the episode The Crucible. Another great one for his acting abilities.
Yeah, the crucible is the best. The first couple minutes of this episode were great with Adam, buzzed and lazy like. Gotta live em'
He dressed like Paladin in his all black, which he never washed!
All the Cartwright men were very handsome, and Boss was a gentle giant. Loved them all, including their handsome cousin Will Cartwright.
I meant Hoss
Excellent episode....in every way a satisfying western story.
Love The Exchange Between Adam And Hoss
One of the only actors in this series to still be alive when I was born, rest in peace
Adam Cartwright is the best,
Adam is my favorite in bonanza
Mine also. AC was the epidemy of cool.
Was anyone else cheering Adam on when the horse fell..? Lol
"For a man to follow his convictions takes courage.." good line there Ben..! 💪🍻🍺🤠👍
I had read that when Adam nearly falls off the horse, that wasn't supposed to happen, Roberts just hung on for dear life and put himself back on that horse. That whole scene could have ended badly..shows what tough guy he really was!
Ben no damn lawyer
Yes!!! I like when HE GOT BACK ON THE
HORSE AFTER HE FELL!!!😁😊
Adam A Man of Steel
One of my favorite episodes with Adam.
Well, today to the day, he passed away 14 years ago. What a loss. May he rest in peace.....
Adam What a handsome man.
I can't help being on a Bonanza binge, Thank you so much for letting me feel close to my dad, we watched this show together for years!
A great episode. I thought the Cartrights never turned away from the chance to kiss a beautiful lady. But this time Adam showed restraint. Pernell Roberts -- loved for his good looks...and here also for good riding and acting. Thanks for the moral - hold fast to your convictions.
Adam should have had more lead roles. Why didn't he? One of my cousins was a writer for Bonanza. RIP I can't ask him.
Patricia, That's really cool that your cousin was a writer for the show! I'm sorry to hear he's gone.
"The short fellow was Toby Enders."
Don't you mean Bill Enders?
Adam is not stupid, he knows when it's the right time to kiss and when it isn't. Joe probably would have kisses though.
This was a good episide but my favorite 2? The Crucible and even better "The LEGACY". Now that episode (Legacy) was PURE SHINING GOLD!! As gold and pure as what the series was all about...a BONANZA!!!
My ABSOLUTE Favorite episode! 👍 Adam almost thought _he_ _was_ crazy.
Nothing like the sound of a horse's gallop when it's in full flight 🤠
Adam is so handsome when he's angry. More then usual that is😍
@@pabloherrera7210 nothing wrong to say it, is it. Everybody can have a crush
Adam Cartwright
A Man of Character and integrity
Yes this my all time favourite episode thank you very much made my day
Bonanza’s Cartwrights’s were the most perfect talent! All 4 pulled their strengths like no other. Love love Adam! At 2022! They remain on my binge list! RIP! Bless them all, including The Family Cook! ♥️
Great.Episode of Bonanza
Fantastic episode!
One thing though. They never explained why he did it.
Purnell episodes were always top shelf
Adam show great integrity morality and dignity to accuse a friend in business partner of murder.👍💯🤠🐎🎥 great episodes I guess good guy truly do wear black thanks for the🎥👍💯 upload
Adam did the right thing because it was the right thing to do👍👍great episode thanks for the upload🎥💯👍
Those hills will kill a kangaroo 😂🤣
Adam Cartwright--the original Man in Black.
Yeah , I think there was one in many westerns, Yule Brynner being another
Zorro and have gun will travel may have been before
@@Gusinabus Right! Paladin-loved HGWT.
The best man in black. Love Sheriff Coffee also.
Naw...that would be Richard Boone---Paladin Have Gun, Will Travel...1957-1964. But Adam wore it well....definitely.
Love this show so much. Think I've seen every single episode at least 3 times.
One of my favorite episodes.
Happy to hear that! 🤠✌🍿🎬
Their legacy lives on but the heartbreak is that these actors are no longer with us!
I love Adam he's so smart and handsome
All that baloney I had to endure about Rock Hudson where there were just as may handsome men like Adam.
Excellent story line. Thanks for posting!
Bin mit bonanza gross geworden und liebe diese zendung heute noch
One the Best stories (of these episodes) I’ve seen.
Favorite feel-good moment at 44:13 with that 'gotcha' smile on Hoss's face!
Best bit of the episode. You can always rely on Hoss.
It was nice to finally see an episode where a bad guy told someone to stand up and draw and the hero just said .... Nah I'm good... Every time I see a scene like that I always wonder why they don't just say no. It takes away their power completely if you just refuse to draw.
Problem is, that option isn't always there. For proof, just watch "The Fighters."
If u don't draw u r considered a coward.
@@janpiet4740 If Adam drew on him it would have proved on how wrong Adam was, Which we know he wasn't!!!!.
A great episode! Exciting!
Great episode!!!
Never seen a sec of this show before. Always heard great things about it. the one shocking thing that surprised me was how it was shot. It looks like a movie!!!
Thanks for sharing that. :)
Adam....my favorite Cartright
👍👌👏 Definitely not easy to hold on what one knows respectively whitnessed. Especially not with so much pressure against one.
Thanks a lot for uploading and sharing this old series.
Best regards luck and health.
The truth is always worth standing up for. Do not ever let a thief or liar ever win
Adam Cartwright was the best, I hate his character left the show. R.I.P. Pernell Roberts.
The scene at the saloon between Adam and Bill. The way he listen to Bill. It gets me every time. Adam looks so handsome there. Like I said before Adam is handsome when he's angry.
@@nimkynasir7814 it makes him sexy in my opinion
Adam is so cool in this, I believe you adam
Bonanza best show ever
What about the guy Hoss caught attempting to shoot Adam? Bonanza is the place where guns never run out of ammunition, and horses can ride full speed for miles. But as a kid I loved it.
Sometimes you need a gun.
What perturbs me about this episode & a couple of others that I remember, is that Adam doesn't have full back-up with his pa & brothers, like Hosts & Joe & Men do with each other, no matter how tough & right they are.
Because they portray Adam as being more intellectual and intelligent, For some diabolical reason
I didn't watch Bonanza growing up as a kid, Gilligans Island lol, but I remember my grandmother did. And she was so disappointed when Pernell Roberts left the show. After watching this episode I can see why, thrilling from beginning to end.
Fantastic episode
This is the reason why Pernell Roberts left Bonanza. He didnt agree with a grown man being talked to like a little kid. He says his character didnt have any independence to be an adult. That stupid sheriff talked to him like he was a kid. 34:51

This is also one of my good TV series I watch it mainly for Michael Landon I also love him in Little House on the Prairie I really learned about him doing that TV series and I still watch little house on the Prairie 😘
Gosh, I love this show. It was my mom's favourite in her time and now its one of mine too.❤
Awesome acting ... Just love it.
I love this episode because it’s all about Adam ❤❤❤
10 thumbs up for this content creator for uploading very high quality video it makes it worth downloading by the way the show is superb
Adam has such a beautiful face. His mouth is shaped like a heart and he has dimples on either side of his mouth.
In today's world.... if Adam walked into any gathering of people anywhere every woman's head would turn & then from the moment you spoke to him ^ your mind would be mesmerized with so much more than his beauty...
Such a fantastic series.

Adam the way people should stand for wat they believe
Adam left the show way too soon. For all of us who admire all the Cartwrights, but Adam is our #1, we got jypped! Whyyyy!? ☹
