- Day 2 of TJG's Week of Chaos continues with a flight down to Salt Lake City, Utah aboard another B737-900ER, this time on Delta Air Lines! My first time to the state. Between Alaska and Delta, there's some notable differences, but when everything is thrown in together...it really can be just up to each person. Make no mistake, watch this video and you'll see how much I love Delta - but when comparing to Alaska Airlines I'd have to take Alaska. Both airlines have a great culture though with friendly crews and very good products in the USA. Would also recommend flying Delta if you can. Hope you guys enjoy!

I flew from the ATL to RDU on a 900ER no complaints at all, very smooth ride
I'm from a big delta hub (DTW) and I've flown on their 900er quite often and its one of my favorite aircraft in their wide and diverse fleet

Thanks for another upload with a state and airport that was new to you. I want to go there too. I only remember the times I flew to Nevada and California over Utah, but I don’t know where exactly. I hope it was near SLC, maybe where I could’ve seen it.

Awesome! I started flying Delta out of Sea-Tac last year for the first time--just a couple short flights between Seattle and Spokane. The first one was on an older 737-800, and I thought the leg room was not great in Main Cabin (I'm 5'5"). So on another flight I booked a Comfort Plus seat, which happened to be on a 900ER that was 2.6 years old at the time, and it was very nice! I've never flown out of the S gates at Sea-Tac yet; my Delta flights have been from A and B gates. Lately, I saw in the news that Sea-Tac is going to expand and update the international arrivals terminal, so that will be something to look forward to--and hopefully, I'll be able to take some international flights, which I've not done before (need passport!). Thanks for another great video!
I have the Alaska B737-900ER in the one world livery from NG models and I fly out of Seattle to the Boeing factory on X-plane.
I love Delta. I will agree though that the seats aren't the nicest. I prefer thinner padding, otherwise, your body uncomfortably sinks down into the seat. I'm surprised you like Alaska, I kind of find them too simple with no IFE and little snacks even though their prices are the same as Delta (in my experience). I have videos on Delta, Alaska, and an SLC tour + SLC Skyclub tour if you are interested. Just subbed to your channel, nice to have a fellow Bay Area traveler.

This is a good route and delta economy class is always solid tbh. I prefer it over alaska. I’ve only flown alaska and southwest from seattle though.
For some reason, your voiceover videos remind me of PBS documentaries. Likewise, I could picture you narrating PBS funding credits.
For me the drink depends on the time of day, Month of year and route. I will not buy alcohol if im changing planes or if it is before 12pm. I will always get coffee on morning flights. As for soda I do a a coke in mid morning and a bourbon Gingeraile in the afternoon

Just flew delta 737-900 from salt lake to Tampa and back.they should redo their loading and unloading.being handicap getting on first doesn't help if you have to get up and down to let folks pass threw. Great flights but both times we slammed into runway on landing.second time,return flight,I thought for sure he blew a tire. I don't know why they had an issue but it hurt.

I can't stand flying on any of Delta's remaining 737 and 757. Give me their Airbus A320/321 all day.
Not a fan of those new 737 cabins sorry refuse to fly anymore....due to non stop vioence air rage drama lack of service etc. I prefer to go back to my 80s 1990s times

I hate flying in these sardine-can narrow-body planes like the 737. It's such a garbage plane. Airlines love them because they're so much cheaper to fly, but they're junk.
