Thank you for your video. I have never been able to find a lesson that clearly explains and shows how to do the point of a v neck ribbing. I also appreciate the pick up three, skip one on the rib stitching. I can now finish a vest correctly. 👏 🐑
Hello dearest I am not much active TH-camr friends told me I can pick patterns to knit a sweaters and especially cardigan sweaters I must tell you, you’re work is impeccable i your ability to detail is inspiring and amazingly talented thank you I am sixty four years old doctor nuclear surgeon I like to knit and crochet I am not active on any site (computer) good evening
Ashley thank you so much for these videos and your easy to follow patterns! This is my first time making a proper wearable sweater and I’m loving the experience. You made everything easy. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this video. You explain everything so clearly I have learned so much from your videos. Especially how to knit the V neck so neatly. Love the color you chose.
Wonderful pattern and tutorial, thanks for sharing! It is my first time following a pattern (usually I just kind of freehand). The one thing I would find helpful for next time is to do the front first and then the back. Although I followed the instructions, my back ended up shorter than the front and I had to frog my bind off to make it longer! Thanks for sharing!
Would love to see a v neck sweater without poofy sleeves you know sensible sleeves to work in. Your knitting is easy to follow & so neat thank you for being an awesome teacher 😊💕
I understood the neck collar part but my point is when i come back from the other side...the wrong side...then how to proceed... please will you explain it to me..i cannot get that.....
I'm knitting this longer version with the non chunky yard for myself. And the shorter chunky version for a friend! Will post pics when finished. Would love your pattern for the Bandana Cowl though. Can't find anywhere.
Question? Did you mean for us to used the smaller needles for the bottom rib stitch? I used the larger ones as pattern said but it looks larger then should , not at all like your picture and tutorial looks
When you work back and forth in stockinet stitch, is it possible for me to add a new yarn if I am doing the purl in the purling side? If so. How can I add a yarn when purling?
Please take a look at the finished bust circumference…. The largest size isn’t m a standard US 8. It’s like the equivalent to like a 3XL - 4XL. You would probably be around a size 4 or 5.

You are very welcome. Thank you!!
Thank you Ashley 👍🏻
Does the same pattern work for men sizes too??
It could probably work for a man. It might need some more length to the body and perhaps a little more armhole depth.
@@AshleyLillisKnits thank you so much 🙏
Thank you so much for this video! Great explanations. I’m inspired to cast on this vest today!
Wonderful! I’m so glad!! Enjoy 🧶❤️
Can’t wait to make this!

Hi there! Everything is available on my website at ashleylillis.com!
I loved thank you so much for sharing ❤️
Hi, I’m a beginner and I was wondering if there are piece I can make using one needle (length and size).
Technically, instead of the armhole ribbing- can I just add sleeves or this would be a little different?
Thank you so much for sharing this work.!
Could you please share the color of this beautiful Heartland yarn? I would like to knit a vest just like this!
congaree
Is it for men also
Question? Did you mean for us to used the smaller needles for the bottom rib stitch? I used the larger ones as pattern said but it looks larger then should , not at all like your picture and tutorial looks
I didn’t use a smaller needle but I rib pretty tight so feel free to go down a needle size if you’d like!
Thank you Ashley.
Enjoy and happy knitting!
Thank you for the video ,was very helpfull.
How much wool is required
Is it unisex?
I assume yes, is unisex, I want to make it for me 😅😂
It's written for a woman, but you could easily make this for a man. It might just need a little more length in the body.
You should design a vest for a man. I’ve looked all over revelry and can’t find one. They are all seamed
Thank you, big help!
Glad it helped! 🧶❤️

Same concept! Hold the yarn double and work a few stitches purling and then drop the old yarn 👍🏻
@@AshleyLillisKnits thank you ❤️
Thank you for sharing your a amazing ❤
I need help to do it with circular neck line 😢
Me too .
Check out my other patterns.... I have two circular v-neck vests!
Thanks so much!
I checked your pattern to buy and it only goes to size 8. I wear a L or XL. How would I adjust your pattern for my size?

Thank you so much ❤
If I follow your instructions then it doesn't come out straight...it is somewhat zig zag
