Andertons Music Co He's just taken time to offer some advice to a guy on the PRS users FB page who was having a problem with his signature guitar. What a gentleman. I bet that doesn't happen often! These interviews are great by the way.
I've been a BSC fan since their first album, been to see them a few times in London and they like to play LOUD. Great live band. You tell tell these guys work hard and haven't disappeared up their own arse. Nice PRS too. Awesome interview too.
Love Black Stone Cherry. They’re kind of my musical taste in one band. Hard Rock, Southern Rock, Country, Blues, etc… All from one band. Their Royal Albert Hall performance is phenomenal.
This guy is amazing!! Got to spend a couple of hours with him after his show in Norwich. Talked guitars and gear!! He's a proper musician!! Knows his shit!! Great to talk to!! A genuinely great person all round!! His signature prs is one of the best guitars around!! Cannot wait for BSC to come back to the uk!! If you haven't seen them do so!! One of the best live bands!! #SorrySean
Great band saw them recently in Wolverhampton, fantastic show acoustic first half and then pure rock and roll for next hour and 45. The energy is immense and Chris is bang on with the audience I'm 50+ and there were older and much younger all rocking out. And to put the icing on the cake I've just this evening bought one of these signed guitars, maybe it's the one Chris or the Captain is playing......Keep the music alive......................
Great interview Lee, thanks for having Chris on. My first exposure to him and he seems like a genuine southern gentleman. Thanks for stopping in Chris.
I love how no matter what the Captain always finds a way to appreciate his guest and their musical ability, whether it’s Ola England or Eric Gales, he’s always so appreciative of his guests regardless of their genre
Chris is the man. Just saw BSC in Dublin last night (for like the 8th time 👍) and they are just as good as ever if not better. And Chris is so deserving of all their success. As the Captain says - a proper guitarist - a real player
Thank you Anderson's. I had never heard of BSC before Bea and Matt did the "sounds like" on them. When Bea said 'Chris Robertson' I thought he said 'Chris Robinson' (from the black crowes). I thought, "sweet" he has a new band. Needless to say, I was surprised when I checked them out on You Tube. Holy Shit, how had I not heard about these guys? I've never heard them on the radio out here in California. I'm originally from the southern U.S. and southern rock is my thing. can't believe I'd never heard them when they've been around so long. Thanks Anderson's. My new favorite band.
This was great! Chris made me want to play guitar! Seen BSC four times at four different venue's in Glasgow! Been great to see this great band rise and rise!
YESSS. I loved Supafuzz. they came to Iowa a few times. Last I knew a few of them got back together to play locally. But they had moved to Atlanta? I have a whole DVD of photos of those guys. they let me backstage to take pics when they did 2 shows near my hometown 2 days apart. Good to know they were loved locally. I Am The King rocked local stations for quite some time.
TMmodify Haha, I've actually already got both the Tremonti SE Standard and Custom along with the Zach Myers SE. Would love a USA Tremonti but I can't really justify the price increase over the SEs.
Yes sir. Love these guys. From Ky just as I am. These guys are a big inspiration to bands/musicians in this area. They've earned all of their success. Glad to see the prs sig. Chris has been preaching prs for sometime now. Awesome interview.
Saw them at Shepherd's Bush Empire, the snare drum sound nearly took my head off. They were awsome. Laid back acoustic set followed by what can only be decribed as the armageddon second set! To say they were all (and I mean all) enthusiastic would be understatement of the year! I built my own Telecaster and have a P90 in the neck position, but mine is a Seymour Duncan which is a P90 in a chrome humbucker size shell, so visually looks like a Humbucker, but confuses people when I tell them it's a P90!
This is what i love about the captain meets videos, they introduce me to players that, tbh, I've never heard of and it's so interesting to hear about their backgrounds! It's great discovering new music and where it's come from, always looking forward to the next episode :)
AWSOME ive seen black stone cherry multiple times here in wisconsin they are deffinatley one of the best for sure and dont worry chris kicks way more as on stage lol .. love that band
Chris is so right about the SE series being the next LPJs. I have an SE Standard 24 and it is an unbelievably good guitar. It will end up being valuable in the future unless the quality never decreases which I doubt although you never know with PRS.
Stephen Owen these guys know their shit when it comes to making guitars. But I guess they'll keep making great quality guitars because it's what makes people want to buy a PRS. Gibson on the other hand has issues with its quality control (snapping headstocks etc) and emphasize more on the myhos. whereas PRS wants to be renowned for what they are : great quality
that mountain guitarist for those who don't know is the man, the myth the legend LESLIE WEST! he;s a big influence on a ton of modern players from Zakk Wylde to Tremonti and the list goes on and on....
The Epiphone T-310 series had the batwing headstock. They also came with an Explorer-style headstock. I didn't hear Chris mention it, but his father was with the Kentucky Headhunters, another really cool band.
So I am seeing that the video is 47 minutes long and I told myself that this is for another day or for two three sittings, but I watched it whole in one go all laughing and enjoying and now I wish it was longer.
What. A. Video! Perfection! I hope when GNR come over next year you could do one with Slash. I think only that would top this. Or maybe Bonamassa! So much love for this!
Ideal guest would be Scott Holliday from Rival Sons. Killer band, killer player with killer tones and they're touring UK early next year. Would be the best one yet easily and not unrealistic either.
just hit 3 mins of this and had great laugh at Lee 'kind off' wondering why bother ...but this is the best 'new' vibe of 2017 now there's a real player to watch ...first in a long time unique mix Chris got Lee playing good
No offense to the great Chappers, but this is one of the best intro jams Andertons has ever displayed Edit1: SLC Pink reference checks out, this guy is a badass Edit2: I want to see Rabea and Chris Robertson jam.... very interestingly similar style of licks
One of the best players to come out after the millennium. Really don't understand how someone could dislike this. Such a humble guy as well
now we need a sounds like Black Stone Cherry 😁
We do, don't we :)
sound like black stone cherry by busting the bank please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had the privilege of see these guys live in concert in October 2019 in Grand Junction, CO. Amazing concert.
What a really genuine guy Chris Robertson is.
He really is a cool guy... It was great to have him..
Andertons Music Co He's just taken time to offer some advice to a guy on the PRS users FB page who was having a problem with his signature guitar. What a gentleman. I bet that doesn't happen often! These interviews are great by the way.
Never heard of them until today, Now I'm buying their albums old and new sound awesome thanks Captain for getting Chris in.
Amazing! I love Black Stone Cherry! I saw them live earlier this year in Amsterdam it was awesome.
SO HAPPY THIS VIDEO WAS SHOT! Love BSC so much saw them on tour twice. Thanks Cap!
Best 'Captain Meets' so far - love it. Captain is such a natural and grounded host. Thanks a lot Andertons!
Captain meets Bea/Rob/Danish Pete. Really interested to know more about their backgrounds.
Me too!!
I've been a BSC fan since their first album, been to see them a few times in London and they like to play LOUD. Great live band. You tell tell these guys work hard and haven't disappeared up their own arse. Nice PRS too. Awesome interview too.
Yeeah! next Myles kennedy or Mark Tremonti!
Fellow Kentuckian here! We love some Black Stone Cherry!
Love Black Stone Cherry. They’re kind of my musical taste in one band. Hard Rock, Southern Rock, Country, Blues, etc… All from one band. Their Royal Albert Hall performance is phenomenal.
I just seen Black Stone Cherry in Spokane, Chris and the boys are awesome !!
Chris is a cool straight up dude.
Black Stone Cherry, PRS, Chris Robertson and the Captain. Excellwnt video 👌
Blackstone Cherry 💥 totally love the band

lee robinson #sorrysean. I understood that reference

Great interview Lee, thanks for having Chris on. My first exposure to him and he seems like a genuine southern gentleman. Thanks for stopping in Chris.
My band has the opportunity to open up for them in a few months if all goes as planned! Wish us luck!
Good luck guys....
Love this guy. So glad I finally got to see them live recently. He truly is one of the good guys of rock!!!
captn thank you soooo much for having him on the show. i saw them 2010 in Berlin with the first album. the best rock voice today
I opened for them with my band Revolution Machine in Portage, IN. Great guy. Chris was sick that night but still took pics with the opening act.
Love the series! The Captain is such a natural interviewer. Chris Robertson seems like a good guy.
love these guys
I love how no matter what the Captain always finds a way to appreciate his guest and their musical ability, whether it’s Ola England or Eric Gales, he’s always so appreciative of his guests regardless of their genre
Sound like black stone cherry next pleaseeeeeee
Love the way Lee as been selecting guests.... keep them coming!
Chris is the man. Just saw BSC in Dublin last night (for like the 8th time 👍) and they are just as good as ever if not better. And Chris is so deserving of all their success. As the Captain says - a proper guitarist - a real player
Chris seems like a really charming guy. BSC got me into more blues influenced rock music. Can’t thank them enough!
Thank you Anderson's. I had never heard of BSC before Bea and Matt did the "sounds like" on them. When Bea said 'Chris Robertson' I thought he said 'Chris Robinson' (from the black crowes). Hello from Kentucky! Yes, I'm a Kentucky boy. Thanks for represnting BSC!
This was great! Chris made me want to play guitar! Seen BSC four times at four different venue's in Glasgow! Been great to see this great band rise and rise!
As a Canadian it was SO fascinating to listen to the two accents playing back and forth!
😱😱😱😱 BLACK STONE CHERRY, IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR AGES, YOU GUYS ARE MY INSPERATION
You lucky man lee
Chris isn’t just a great guitar player and singer, he’s an awesome family man and a true southern gentleman!
Black Stone Cherry puts on the same kickass show for thousands or for a couple hundred, they do not hold back, and they play awesome!!!
Best one yet! Ordered one of the SEs after watching this. Myles Kennedy or Mark Tremonti next!
Cool guitar... You will love it...
AnyTechReviews If you order a sig everytime there's a new guy in Captain Meets ,your wallet will hope that Tremonti never sets foot on England again.
TMmodify Haha, I've actually already got both the Tremonti SE Standard and Custom along with the Zach Myers SE. Would love a USA Tremonti but I can't really justify the price increase over the SEs.
AnyTechReviews
I can't help you either,I never played an American one
Yes sir. Love these guys. From Ky just as I am. These guys are a big inspiration to bands/musicians in this area. They've earned all of their success. Glad to see the prs sig. Chris has been preaching prs for sometime now. Awesome interview.

Never have I seen the Captain so happy on one of these, and Chris, well he's straight up cool. Great episode - you sold me on a guitar.
That was the best Captain meets yet. Chris seems like a genuinely nice guy.
Ian Thornley is the best one
Great interview! Representing Kentucky!
Captain meets rob chapman
Hell yeah! Dorje rocks!

AWSOME ive seen black stone cherry multiple times here in wisconsin they are deffinatley one of the best for sure and dont worry chris kicks way more as on stage lol .. love that band

Saskydude that’s amazing
FAVOURITE BAND 😊
one thing I have to say is Alter Bridge puts out a record every three years and they do great
Chris is so right about the SE series being the next LPJs. I have an SE Standard 24 and it is an unbelievably good guitar. It will end up being valuable in the future unless the quality never decreases which I doubt although you never know with PRS.

yeah hopefully it stays consistently great. I have rarely seen a PRS Guitar that I haven't liked the look or sound of.
that mountain guitarist for those who don't know is the man, the myth the legend LESLIE WEST! he;s a big influence on a ton of modern players from Zakk Wylde to Tremonti and the list goes on and on....
He was arguably the first player to really make a Gibson Les Paul Junior (at the time a cheap budget guitar) ROCK
Wes Borland would be fucking epic. Get on it Captain!
TheMusicfan189 ohohoohohoho this is actually a really good idea ,Wes is such a cool, down to earth guy
yea i just hope he comes dressed as he would be on stage
MB215 in interviews,je usually doesn't
WIsh you had Tremonti on whilst Alter Bridge were in the UK!
srYYZ that would have been awesome, or Myles
Yes, he was great in Creed :-)
This was perfect. Been a BSC fan since first release but mentioning TOOL, \m/..\m/
I love his tone and his vibrato is killer
love Black Stone Cherry music, and this video is awesome ;)
Man, Leslie West changed my world also the first time I heard Mississippi Queen :)
The Epiphone T-310 series had the batwing headstock. They also came with an Explorer-style headstock. I didn't hear Chris mention it, but his father was with the Kentucky Headhunters, another really cool band.
Oh, my bad. Thanks for the correction, +Crispy Borell I knew there was a Kentucky Headhunters connection in there somewhere. :D
CAPTAIN MEETS SATCHEL
Dhruv Kotecha who?
+Dhruv Kotecha I tried to make that happen ☹️️
Try again PLEASE it would be so cool!!!!!!!!!!
good idea 😊
That would be epic, but you'd have to press the beep button every 30 seconds. LOL.
Nice to hear someone on the channel without an accent. : )
Chris is just the coolest guy ever!
These are great videos! Any chance for a Captain meets Jerry Cantrell or perhaps Slash?
It’ll be awesome, if the song blind man, by black stone cherry, would come out on MTV
Good Ole Country Boys!! BSC!
The Captain meets Josh Klinghoffer!! We haven't seen any love from him yet and the Chili Peppers are in the UK this week!
Black Stone Cherry kick Ass!!! Great live band
captain meets rick graham or tom quayle both live in UK
Rishabh Kumar that needs to happen!!!
1:12 Okay yeah that jam bit was so cool and heavy!
I'd really love to know what pedals/ gear Chris Robertson is using to get that tone, sounds incredible!
Ideal guest would be Scott Holliday from Rival Sons. Killer band, killer player with killer tones and they're touring UK early next year. Would be the best one yet easily and not unrealistic either.
Gotta try & get the almighty Clapton on Andertons TV would be killer shit man
an entertaining watch!
would love to see bob balch from fu manchu. :)
They talk about his signature guitar at 28:00. You're welcome.
I'm late to the party but that vibrato is sick!!!!!
I grew up two hours from where Chris did... damn i wish i knew
The Captain is an awesome interviewer
That vibrato!
just hit 3 mins of this and had great laugh at Lee 'kind off' wondering why bother ...but this is the best 'new' vibe of 2017 now there's a real player to watch ...first in a long time unique mix Chris got Lee playing good
Great video
I like watching this just to hear the awesome hard rock riffs in it :P, feel free to send me Tabs! ;)
No offense to the great Chappers, but this is one of the best intro jams Andertons has ever displayed
Edit1: SLC Pink reference checks out, this guy is a badass
Edit2: I want to see Rabea and Chris Robertson jam.... very interestingly similar style of licks
HEY GUITAR PEOPLE what a cool guy and you know when some one is into PRS when they have the PRS bird fret inlay tattooed on there neck!

That would be awesome. Sayce is a true guitar God!
Anyone interested in which fuzz pedal is Chris using? Found it: Clusterfuzz by Function f(x). Great tone btw!
Hello guys! Anyone who can tell me which fuzz pedal is Chris using in this video? Thx
