Your style and charisma is top notch and goes along well with the simple recipes anyone can easily make anytime of the day while listening to good music . 😁
Just want to mention, after my 1rst month of being Vegan, always reverting to sautés, I finally tried ramen (for the first time in my life, I'm 31), and it's amazing. Your channel is wonderful, it inspired me to try a whole genre of food that I never tried, and since then, I've eaten variations of your ramen and pho for the last week straight. I can't wait to try as many of your recipes as possible.
The worst thing about being Scots and vegan must be swearing off finnan haddie. I'm not Scots, but I must admit to being addicted to finnan haddie while in Scotland. There is no other smoked fish like it in the entirety of the world.
You were right Will, these quick and easy recipes didn't make me feel Fa La Fel. Giggle. They made me feel confident enough to make. Thank you for sharing, I love falafel. Have a Blessed Day. 💖✨💖
The cute scoop though! I really enjoy your videos, they are so relaxing. I use them to figure out what to meal prep for the week and to calm down during work hours :)
Hi , I’m Sarala from Bangalore, India Was surfing TH-cam and watched a video and I so fell in love with your easy vegan recipes that it’s been 3 hours and I have almost watched every one of your recipe Thanks for sharing I’m going to try one recipe at a time and impress my friend and family
I made the falafel and tahini dip, only difference is I baked them instead frying, at 375f for about 30 min, flipping halfway through, they tasted great 😊 first time I’ve made falafel at home as well 😃❤️
You can replace the coconut flour for sesame seed flour. That’s right, what tahini is made from. It gives a similar taste profile. Just blend toasted seeds into powder. It’ll help bind the mixture.
Falafel is one of those things I raised my kids on, however I must confess, I always use an instant mix. Those mixes are expensive and hard to find. Excited about trying your recipe.
I've made the falafel using this recipe, and it is simply awesome! Also made it for friends once and it played to raves. I should have made a double batch because they went all gone in no time. It's a guaranteed winner! I've also made his recipe for hummus. I'm particularly fond of the chili oil version. One thing I'd recommend though is that you splurge and get the best tahini you can find. The cheep ones often have a really bitter flavour to them. I haven't yet tried his recipe for fattouche, so I can't comment honestly on it, though I'm definitely looking forward to making it someday soon.
This salade name is fattouch...it is a Lebanese dish ..... we eat it a lot during ramadan... in fact all three dishes are lebanease...happy to see your inspiration goes around the world....
wow, this chili oil hummus looks like the love child of mid & far east. I've just prepared some chili oil yesterday, have some nori, so this weekend I 'll give it a try.
Hi YMC 😊 Thank You . I Really like the Gf Falafel , I want to try making withe Your recipe ! I tried making one X with canned Garbanzos , I didnt know You have to start with the Dry Beans . They did disintegrate but didnt , as Patties and little Oil . I wonder why It does that ? You dont have to pre cook the Beans ? Even better : ) To continue with the gf , I just learned recently using single Romaine Leaves as mini individual boats ‘ for the Falafel bread ‘ . Definitely an awesome tasty go to substantial meal , please dont forget the extra Pickles on mine💓 Somethings ‘ can never be substituted , every once in A While ~ Falafel !!!
After re-watching the hummus segment, I wonder what you would do to take coleslaw to the next level. It's a versatile side dish, but I bet you could make it even better!!!
Hi Wil.. always loving your recipes ....a bit frustrating cause ingredients have different names in countries.. but I am making them today.. mmm but no potato starch in cupboard.. so I googled what else I can use they say cornstarch which here in australia is cornflour.. so fingers crossed I am using that.. or they say rice flour? hahah does it matter..? thanks in advance for answer for next time I cook them...also is there something else we can use instead of sumac... and yes I agree you should have a shopping link so we can buy your kitchenware that you use.. although I dont think the appliances would make a difference to my cooking.. hahhah but it might help.. t=xxx
I was also geeking out over that salad spinner 😆 really, it was so satisfying to see all that water spin off. I need to go buy myself a salad spinner asap.
I ran out and bought one on Amazon immediately! I wish that Mr. Yeoung would have a marketplace where we could go after watching a video, and pick up some of the products that he uses, including kitchen utensils and appliances.
Love your presentations! I have 2 questions about the falafel. Can you use tapioca starch instead of potatoe starch? And can you fry them in coconut oil instead of avocado oil? Thank you
I like the way you combine several recipes that make a lovely meal. I am a big fan of falafels but not of frying. Would I be able to bake them in the oven and at what temperature and time? Do I need to make any adjustments to the recipe? Thank you.
Quick question: You sometimes finely chop garlic, sometimes grate it... what is the main difference between these two methods? Is more garlic oil released by grating it, resulting in more intense flavor?
Hi- your question to Wil reminds me of Anthony Bourdain’s diatribe on garlic presses: “Garlic is divine. Few food items can taste so many distinct ways, handled correctly. Misuse of garlic is a crime. Old garlic, burnt garlic, garlic cut too long ago and garlic that has been tragically smashed through one of those abominations, the garlic press, are all disgusting. Please treat your garlic with respect. Sliver it for pasta, like you saw in Goodfellas; don't burn it. Smash it, with the flat of your knife blade if you like, but don't put it through a press. I don't know what that junk is that squeezes out the end of those things, but it ain't garlic. And try roasting garlic. It gets mellower and sweeter if you roast it whole, still on the clove, to be squeezed out later when it's soft and brown. Nothing will permeate your food more irrevocably and irreparably than burnt or rancid garlic. Avoid at all costs that vile spew you see rotting in oil in screw-top jars. Too lazy to peel fresh? You don't deserve to eat garlic.”
@@garya3056 If I had no teeth, I'd rather eat garlic pushed through a press than no garlic at all. Sorry to disagree Anthony. Rest in peace, even if I do disagree on this one small point.
@@Chompchompyerded yep he sure was a character. I use a garlic press quite often! I’ve been hoping Wil would one day show us an outtake where he actually cuts his garlic less like Zeus would and ends up including some of the garlic paper skin into his dish LIKE I DO! 🤪
The falafel and the fattoush salad ingredients and technic and procedure brilliantly done 😍😍😍 and even better than originals 😂😂😂 for the hummus i prefer not to add olive oil in the processor because it will react with the garlic 😍❤️EXCELLENTRecipe👍🏻🌶
hi hope you dont mind me budding in... sumac is a spice. its tart and acidic flavour.. google hahha says you can replace with lemon and lemon zest but is more overpowering. wil.. is there anything else to replace sumac? thanks for your videos.. alway love them.jody x
That hummus looked amazing, I could practically taste it.... When making your falafels...I caught the cilantro/parsley mix up...was that intentional? 😆
Wil, please could you tell us what equipment and beautiful crockery you use, and links where to buy. Your bowls and plates are what I'm looking for here in South Africa, but I cannot find exactly what you have. I make these meals every week, but your falafel recipe with baking soda and coconut flour is different to my Turkish recipe which I struggle to get firm. Got it now. Thanks Wil
Do you have a pita/roti/tortilla or other flat bread recipe you use for dipping into the hummus? Also can you use the soaking water from dried chickpeas you've soaked for 12 hours in place of the liquid in the canned chickpeas for Aquafaba to make the mayonnaise?

I've watched your whole video and learned how to make a special humus and falafel. I liked the humus that has pomegranate seeds. Thanks.

Thanks for the great tip for reusing olive oil. 🙏
I love all of these! For the falafel, would Chickpea flour work as well as the Coconut flour?
Yes..it works

Hello from Colorado! Do you have any breakfast recipes?
We do have a recent video on a breakfast wrap 🙌🏻 th-cam.com/video/wNDfnZcXd84/w-d-xo.html
Love your presentations! I have 2 questions about the falafel. Can you use tapioca starch instead of potatoe starch? And can you fry them in coconut oil instead of avocado oil? Thank you
Hiya 🙋🏻♂️ I have yet to try either, however would imagine an alternative starch to work. Might be best to use another neutral flavoured oil 🤔
Superb recipe
I love Falafel now I can make them anytime
I like the way you combine several recipes that make a lovely meal. I am a big fan of falafels but not of frying. Would I be able to bake them in the oven and at what temperature and time? Do I need to make any adjustments to the recipe? Thank you.

Hi, from Namibia. I saw bowls that look almost like the ones he use in Woolworths, try and have a look.
Falafel is my favorite & humus Thanks will try your recipe as always to eat with confidence
Heating the oil for 45 minutes?? Any sub for that? And for avocado oil
I really need to make that chilli oil
