All Eyes on Paris with Australian Beach Volleyball player Izac Carracher

My next guest is Izac Carracher, the 24 year old super blocking Aussie who has just recently earned his ticket to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Izac and his partner, Mark Nicolaidis, selection for the Games marks the first time in 20 yrs that Australia will have two men’s beach volleyball teams at an Olympics.
The pair will make their Olympic debut competing under the Eiffel Tower, after being down match points in both of their final matches against Chinese opponents to win the Asian Continental Cup finals in China.
What I love about Izac is that he thrives to play the best teams in the world and he has no fear.
Growing up learning his volleyball on Sydney’s Manly beach, he tried his hand at Indoor Volleyball representing Australia as a Junior.
He then went on to college in the USA for a short period of time before the sand (and Covid) called him back to Australia.
On the beach, he has now played just 2 and ½ full seasons, that’s only 31 matches and he and Mark have already won 2 Futures event Gold Medals. Both of which they won down under in Australia.
Their first World Champs saw them hit the Top 10 and it’s been full steam ahead since then.
