Listen to any interviews from this cast and you’ll know that these actors were working ridiculously long hours, and they were also filming this show on film. These are the reasons what they act so professionally and the bloopers aren’t the same as ones we would get today.

Unofficial leaked footage of some of the dailies from Buffy, mostly season 6 ones, has been around on the internet/youtube for years.
It shows how capable Sarah Michelle Gellar is to see how she is tracking the dialogue very well, but even more importantly how she interacts with James Marsters gently. There was a lot of weight on both of them, and Marsters has spoken about how much he suffered from it. When you see his frustration in some outtakes juxtaposed with how Gellar is creating a supportive space in others, you see how she was an on set leader. Gellar has been described as "difficult", but I trust Marsters and the fact he still stands by her and we see her being a good colleague here.
Sarah was great. James was great. Joss, Marti, and David, and more of the writers and show runners were also great and coordinating a lot. It's pretty sad how 20+ year old work grievances about reduced screen time of an actor drove a wedge between the actors and Joss. I wish they could let bygones be bygones. No crimes were committed. They all made something truly amazing. A great lifetime achievement for all of them regardless. Was it hard work? Of course it was. They were creating a masterpiece.

And SMG would go and play sexy roles and then frequently ask to dress like a grandmother on Buffy. I still love her, but she was a bit rebellious sometimes. All humans are difficult sometimes. We're humans. I think she and Joss can be forgiven, though. Joss used to say "In all the years I have known her, she never let me down."
I’ve not ever seen her come close to ruining a scene on purpose so I imagine it was a bit of funny raunchiness because she was offscreen and they’d use ADR anyway or that she saw the scene was already ruined perhaps by the framing

Bloopers are my absolute favorite to watch. It lets you see how human the actors are messing up, how much work they do to get the scenes perfect, but also have fun at the same time. Id have my castmates cracking up constantly. Id probably forget my lines more than James tho, lol but we'd have a blast. 😂
Live Life Not at all. She has a very dry sarcastic sense of humor. They worked Sarah to the ground and she never complained once! There was an instance where she had broken the middle bone in her hand doing a stunt. They had her keep filming till they finished the scene.Then they sent her to the ER with the wardrobe team. They were getting her ready for her costume change in the emergency room while rehearsing for the next scene (I believe it was the prom episode). She returned to work the same day to do the next scene. She worked day n nights with very little sleep and probably bruised up n dented from doing stunts. They had to write her character off as a rat or kill her in order to give her a break.. Sarah has never once said she hated working on the show nor has there been any stories of her being rude on set. The actors said they admired her work ethic and how she maintained a good spirit and sense humor during the grueling days.
OkayFloat Records i'm pretty sure she didn't talk about buffy at all for years after it ended/has said she felt a little bitter toward it because she felt like she wasted a lot of her youth on the set, like she definitely appreciates it now but for a while she just never mentioned it.

David Greenwalt said Charisma's accusations against Joss were false and he wished he had defended him sooner. Joss didn't bully anyone. She's joking. The show was sexy. This is the same woman who was in Cruel Intentions. I don't think she started to ditch her sexy character stuff until she married FPJ. And even then, she's a great actor, a professional, and a sexy person and there's nothing wrong with that. She liked the show. They all did. They were adults. It was a good show and pretty true to life for a show about supernatural beings. Much more tame than True Blood or The Boys.

It does a little but they add the music in after the final film edit is completed. Some people add in background music in when they make bloopers but I choose not to in ones I make so you can hear the dialogue.

I think she says she prefers the Angel relationship to keep a happy marriage. Just being honest. I think she had more chemistry with James/Spike and it's really normal for any professional actor to downplay attraction to someone they actually were attracted to in order to keep from having feelings about someone. I don't know what Buffy and Spike YOU were watching? The chemistry between those two was off the chart. Smoldering. Didn't hurt that James Marsters was drop dead gorgeous perfection. Angel was too big, too old looking, and quite frankly, a horrible actor. Angel was teenage Buffy's teenage crush. Like a typical teenage girl Buffy "mooned over" Angel. Remember when Buffy said about Angel, "Nobody messes with my boyfriend". 🤣 That was sooo "teenage girl". The character of Angel had NO depth, NO layers, NO versatility. He was a brooding vampire, period. End of story.

Did they seriously release their Season 6 Blooper reel like this? Nobody but Buffy and Spike are allowed screen time, even in the bloopers?? I forgot I even had this trigger. I just wanted to smile at some bloopers, man. Now I'm mad again about production decisions made 17 years ago. I'm probably going to have to watch Willow, Xander and Giles compilations inexplicably set to terrible anime music to move on from this. Ugh.
They are NOT bloopers. The dvd sets have the proper official blooper reels. This is a vid of some of the 'dailies' from season 6 episodes, i.e the raw footage of different takes, mostly the ones that weren't used in the final cut. Unofficial leaked footage of some of the dailies from Buffy, mostly season 6 ones, has been around on the internet/youtube for years.

I don't know what Buffy and Spike YOU were watching? The chemistry between those two was off the chart. Smoldering. Didn't hurt that James Marsters was drop dead gorgeous perfection. Angel was too big, too old looking, and quite frankly, a horrible actor. Angel was teenage Buffy's teenage crush. Like a typical teenage girl Buffy "mooned over" Angel. Remember when Buffy said about Angel, "Nobody messes with my boyfriend". 🤣 That was sooo "teenage girl". The character of Angel had NO depth, NO layers, NO versatility. He was a brooding vampire, period. End of story.
