Tightest final chase I've ever seen in a LONG time. For a while it looked like the team were gonna walk home with the money, buy those last 40 seconds show how tight this can be. One wrong answer at the end about a flea was the difference between going home with nothing and going with 42k. That's why I love the chase.
To be fair, that was the only silly answer he made, and I actually made the same mistake. Mishearing the question. With this pace, it can happen. However, he did excellently apart from that....
Well remember, were nitpicking. I would like to point out that the on the bell answer he got at the end was the difference between going home with 42k and going with nothing. The Beast was on form, we all knew that when he said "25, normally a winning score, not today". He doesn't normally say that unless he feels like he's in the zone of where he's gonna get answer after answer, and it looked like he was in control right until the end where the wheels came off.
+Liz Tekdapis also if you're referring to the question "what was the number one hit for band aid?" It was Do they know it's Christmas, and he said "Feed the world" not "Change the World". In fairness to that, Feed the World is what it is more commonly known as, but it's not the song title.
Yeah that was a shocking end. I thought he said "how many letters does flea have" and was confused for a bit why Mark didnt win. Well done to the team!
There is a process to get to Bradley the information of whether the answer was correct. They have to take what the player's answer was and check if it is correct, then make a signal to Bradley to signal if it's correct or wrong, and Bradley has to translate that signal and say it. This makes it sound probably more complicated than it is, but really, this stuff isn't automatic, it's human-made and inevitably, they'll sometimes stumble a bit. So Bradley then has to gain time to compensate.
What I like about Mark is that he's generally a good loser which one might not expect. He is probably the best chaser, although Anne is quite extraordinary too.
Lindsay Tang they censored it. It’s before watershed like lol They wouldn’t be allowed to air f bombs like that. Actually I think on ITV there’s a bit more leniency, because I’m almost certain I’ve heard the word “shit” left uncensored on their game shows as well But an f bomb that was left uncensored would be grounds for a damn lawsuit. Not worth that
@@kevintablet743 Now that you mentioned it, there is another reality show in the uk that's called "Hunted". Some language is left uncensored but the "f#*!" word is censored.
Funny, none of that drama would have happened if that guy had known what the milky way was. Seriously, for such a smart team to get that wrong was pretty outrageous.
Robert Kennedy pressure is an incredible thing I blurted solar system myself first time I saw that as well. It is very easy for a basic question to be missed because the time pressure forces you to be quick Let’s not forget two things here: 1. Mark lost because he blurted the wrong number of legs on a flea. That could be argued as an easy question 2. The same contestant gave them an on the bell answer that otherwise would never have given them the win.
As Kevin said, pressure really can change the tide. If I had to think in a split second on what the answer was if I was in Mark or the contestant's position...
It's not that he literally didn't know what the Milky Way was. It's that they were under pressure and had to answer instantly It is so easy to criticize from your couch after the game
Have to say I laughed out loud at "solar system", but that guy more than made up for that howler after getting that answer about "Kes", and then coming up with Cole Porter! One of the most exciting final chases I've seen, and the team deserve every penny of their winnings.
Mark always has the most exciting chases. He's so fucking fast. If you have a 20-step advantage with one minute to go, you are safe... unless the Beast is up there.
I think I understand the reason behind Mark's mistake. I think he misread the question as "How many letters does a flea have?" (as in the word "flea" most likely) But still, he's my favorite Chaser since he's the only one on our version here in America and I would love to meet him one day. He's a very nice guy even in competition because you should be nice to your opponents and not worry about winning or losing, it's just about playing well and doing your best.
Agreed, I still think Mark's the most awesome, but he lost to a two person team who only got 17 today, and yet he only got 1 question wrong before the final chase. He seem's to get them wrong more on the final chase, but even so he can still do brilliant when he's on form.
The team missed 3 or 4 relatively easy questions in the last 30 seconds amd it ALMOST cost them. I reckon they could've got.28 or 29 and then they would've been virtually unbeatable.🤔
I think Mark has been given more big targets than any other chaser on the show. (Or at least I feel that way) I still think Mark is the best chaser even if Anne has a better percentage.
What a finish !! The beast is always good value and gives great entertainment. I do feel that he tends to panic when the heat is on, unlike Anne, who statiscally has the best percentage score when it comes to final chase:
"Score" means the number of steps, not the money This is also not the highest number of steps, but nobody claimed it was anyway It was a great chase nonetheless
I love this show, only started watching it recently. On todays episode (26th jan) the chaser Mark Labbett blatantly let the blonde woman win, it was so obvious he was deliberately getting questions wrong because he liked her and wanted her to win!
Mark has caught 26 before. So has Anne. Anne is the most consistent (highest winrate), nonetheless Mark is my favorite chaser because his chases are always spectacular. You are literally not safe with 20 steps ahead and a minute if the Beast is your chaser. He has an IQ of 155 which is genius level, and therefore works things out EXTREMELY quickly
Tightest final chase I've ever seen in a LONG time.

Mark needed 17 in the final minute. Impressive that he got so close.
"What galaxy is the earth in"
"solar system"
To be fair, that was the only silly answer he made, and I actually made the same mistake. Mishearing the question.

+Kevin Tablet ''Change The World'' was diabolical too
Well remember, were nitpicking. I would like to point out that the on the bell answer he got at the end was the difference between going home with 42k and going with nothing.

+Kevin Tablet Then u r as dumb as him. What an easy question. I got it right the first time! Milky Way is so easy to answer.....
Bradley: How many legs does a flea have?
Mark: 4,
Bradley: 6
Mark: F**K
Bradley: Time is up
Mark corrected himself but said 4 first
It was funny. Even though he was pissed off, in a way he was happy. But I am sure on the inside he's angry
TaiwanWigglesAndDebris,
Nice sentence.
I think Mark said 6 after he knew that it was wrong. Then Bradley said "Oh he's wrong!"
Bradley: "OH, IT'S WRONG!"
After losing that much money, I'll bet Mark was angry enough to tear two legs off a flea.
6:28 if he had 20 seconds left the team would have lost
In my opinion, this is among the best Final Chases in the show's history
Agreed.
Yeah that was a shocking end. I thought he said "how many letters does flea have" and was confused for a bit why Mark didnt win.
Well done to the team!
By far and a way the best final chase EVER.
Technically,Mark should've only got 23 because he answered to one question 'Chris Issaks' when the Actual name is Chris ISSAK with no S at the end.😊👍🏻
question should have been how many limbs does a flee have because Mark for a second thought he heard 'letters'
"Four... six... FUCK!" XD
On both contestants and the chaser. cooooooooorrrrrect. 1 sec wasted.
On contestants. yeesss cooooooooorrrrrrect. 1.5 sec wasted.
I wonder why.
Have you used a stopwatch, or you counted in your mind? Just politely asking.
I thought the same. Why did Bradley keep saying yes correct for the contestants. Lotta money€42 grand
There is a process to get to Bradley the information of whether the answer was correct. You can tell Mark was absolutely FURIOUS with himself...
They’ve won it only just after mark made a mistake he said 4 instead of 6
Shocked Beastie Boy didn't get bopped for Chris Issacs when the answer was IsaaK
yep he got that wrong !!
The question was how many LEGS does a flea have, which is 6 legs because it has 3 sets of 2 legs
I thought it was how many letters does flea have, not legs :(
No, he Just did a mistake.
Just watched this episode in Australia. Glad that last bloke got caught. Tosser. Best show ever. Martin was brilliant at the end.

Damn impressive final chase on part of the contestants!
I can't believe it

@Almafeta He said, How Many Legs does a Flea have, It was 6 Legs.. however Mark gave the answer of 4 as time ran out.
@IrishKeshiHead I reckon he was thinking "how many letters" in his panic !
MAN!, what a finish!!!

No, he Just did a mistake.
@@radostinatanasov4005 No, he Just did a mistake.
No mate he was under serious time pressure and shouted out the wrong thing, mistakes happen! What an exciting final chase nonetheless
2:00 yes, let the hate flow through you
Julie is the calmest player I’ve watched
Could have had about 28 if it wasn't for the ' yes cooooooooooooooooo rect! ' after every right answer
Language please the beast
fuck off
He has a right to swear. Especially getting an easy question wrong. It's like me trying to preform a easy layup in a real basketball game and missed.
If the players had lost after the Chaser was given incorrect credit for the Chris Isaak answer (he said Isaaks), I'd have been very annoyed!
How unlucky was Mark with that last question.
What a run ,13 questions correct in 45 seconds.
😊😊😊

What a dog fight that was
They did brilliantly
As did the beast
OUCH! Sounded like Mark knew it, but his mouth wasn't on the same page with his brain!!

What a final chase. It was nail biting stuff at the 3 second mark.
If only Mark had said 6 instead of 4 for no. of legs of a flea.😳😬
Yes corrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrect.
@wastedjonin yes, there was also a flash by his mouth.
In just six words: *That's one for the history books!*
And the tean has very big avandage...
Have 3points + and the bouse of -...
Bradley: how many legs does a flea have mark:4 bradley:6 mark:****
My all time favourite team on the show
Absolutely thrilling! :)
Statically Anne is the best chaser on this show but really how goes by statistics thier all tremendously talented
Wow that was close!
What a finish !! The beast is always good value and gives great entertainment. I do feel that he tends to panic when the heat is on, unlike Anne, who statiscally has the best percentage score when it comes to final chase:
A final Chase where they all deserved the money :)
Can someone upload this full episode again? The two that used to be up have been taken down...
Fair play mark what a comeback
They bleeped him... Yup.
well spotted!
Did that brightness was a swear word at 6:28????
Probably the most competitive Chase from both both teams.
No one can beat 25 step
he looks pissed lol
The one player missing from the team took the minus -£2000 offer but was caught. Just as well he didn’t leave with any money, would have been raging.
Did you know where I could find the whole episode?
I wonder what he said, something not allowed before the watershed anyway
I love the way Brad says Cooooorect.
If he had said half of the "corrects" quicker, the Beast might well have won a lot easier.🤔
Has to be the best chase ever.
1:53 RIP George Michael.
lawandorder888 yea
I love how Brad says "Correct"
Why are the guys ignoring the woman?
If she has something to say they don't ignore her
😂😂😂
What a stupid answer from Martin. The Solar System is not a galaxy
Brilliant!!!
I would've too.
If the Beast actually said 1 on the flea question, they would’ve been caught.
6
What a great win.
I got 19 with a 1 step head start
*29
