- Darragh Ennis from "The Chase" takes on the TENS10N quiz against some of TH-cam's smartest quizzers. Can any of them take down a chaser? Find out on this episode of TENS10N.
Welcome to the TENS10N Quiz a top 10 style quiz which rewards niche answers, but punishes you for going too niche!
Contestants answer Top 10 questions around general knowledge, football, geography and the world at large, aiming for those niche answers to rack up the highest points. Watch out for the ‘TENS10N’ answers (answers 11-13 on a list), as they will lose you points - it can all change in an instant!
Episode 4 of TENS10N welcomes 5 popular online quizzers, including The Chase’s very own Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis. Can any of the guys outsmart a Chaser? Who will claim victory and who will hit those TENS10N answers?

Another great one. Funny enough just listened to Darragh on a podcast, didn’t know much about him but his a bundle of joy!
I really admire clever people who put together interesting quiz shows. It helps enhance my knowledge base, and tests my knowledge base as well.

You have a killer format here mate, really enjoyable quiz. If you can figure out how to make this in to a board game version, I think you're on to a winner! Could easily do a few versions, Accesible, Brain Teaser and Quizzer levels of difficulty, and then even do a Chaser difficulty.

@Tens10n_game This was very playalongable. You just have to choose a person to play as so you're not getting an advantage of going first each time. I was more hinting at participating in a future one, ha. Maybe a subscriber special 👀

I totally get that no one will believe me, but I am so happy that my New Hampshire answer was the 'highest points' answer! Thrilled when it was announced as the '10' answer! Thought that a good deal of the smallest populated states would be North East ones!

Good type of quiz these days, most quizzes know the top 3 but have an idea of what the 4-10 would be, which closes the gap a bit.

Perhaps I’m missing something but should Darragh not have finished on +20? I know it wouldn’t have affected the results but just interested to know.
After the capital cities question Darragh was on +16 and then received another +2 in the next round but remained on +16.

After the 8th question (The capital city one) Darragh was actually on +14 with his score being added, although the screen showed +16 - he then scores +2 on question 9, and it shows +16 again at the end of the question on the screen (which was/is then correct) - finishing with another 2 points on question 10 - to make his total 18 (which was right)

Quality video, just a quick question on the Paris top 10 cities, where on earth is Cardiff??
@@Hatters10 so this has been spotted before. I wrote the question as “UN listed countries” of which wales does not appear, I just didn’t say it in the video. My idea being that they wouldn’t go straight up to England for some easy answers. Was my fault, and luckily it didn’t come up in the answers. Well spotted though! Hope you enjoyed!

could you make the next questions more international friendly? i have no idea what the motorways in england are like or what the london train stations are but I know the Australian ones

Can someone explain the logic of almost getting the answer nets more negative points than getting it completely wrong?
@@mickobee of course, the idea is that the questions are tailored so all contestants taking part (what ever their subject knowledge) should be able to give an answer. The key is how good is that answer. - There is then 2 parts of jeopardy, will someone take your answer before you can give it, and does it fall above the tension line. If you go into the tension zone you are penalised more than getting it wrong, because that’s the gamble you are choosing to take. I hope you enjoyed it!
I loved the motorway round; great job, more like this! Less non-international football please, and maybe more history (people, events, etc.) and literature.
I shall be bending folks' ears about this great format and your very entertaining channel. Congratulations again on the format, it's a repeatable formula, yet you also do custom modifications like leaving out the UK, or forseeing and helping prevent quizmaster angst over ambiguous answers.
@@000dr0g Many thanks for the kind words. You are right, each quiz is tailored to the contestants taking part, It is very much a balancing act, trying to ensure each question “hits” and doesn’t exclude anyone.
Hopefully on series 2, I can do a real hard one, but I can assure future content does have some more historic based questions!

@@Sam03xx1 Hi Sam, This is/was my fault, the actual question I had written was based on UN listed countries - I put that in the text of the question but forgot to say it in the video! (My thinking was to try and deflect them going north from Paris and aim more around Europe) - you’re not the first to notice! Hopefully you enjoyed the content nevertheless. 😊

Given that road numbers overlap between Great Britain and Northern Ireland, how are you counting that? I mean, clearly Northern Ireland isn't going to feature on a list of the longest motorways, but does it mean that the M1 is one of the longest motorways in the UK _and_ one of the shortest at the same time?
@@qwertyTRiG yes, the NI M1 did not make the list due to distance of it. I perhaps should have quantified that there might be cross over in numbers etc I think luckily they may have clocked that, but a good spot. I will try to be more clearer when cross over going forward. If the M1 in NI had made the top 10/12 then I would have definitely have asked for specific when giving the answer.
Question at 31 minutes, is Monaco not a country or capital what's up with the answers
@@conor4846 a contentious one indeed. Monaco is a principality, but also a UN listed state, I was 50/50 whether to include it. Luckily it never came up at the time. 😅
Same with Cardiff. It’s closer than Dublin but didn’t feature.

Wales is not a UN recognised country, which I forgot to say to the contestants during the question, I did put it up on the screen in the text of the question. Luckily no one said it! You need to fix your intro example - J is the 10th letter of the alphabet, not the 12th.
