Damn I miss it! Semper Fi!
God damn I miss my Marine Corps
In my time aboard PI I never saw anyone march at left shoulder beyond transitioning between rifle positions with marching manual. Did there used to be drill cards that stipulated marching at left shoulder?
Lean back and set'em down, march from the waist down. Left, right, left.

Who is the shaky camera man???😡
He killed it
does that guy have a saber
The Mameluke Sword is a saber carried by Marine NCOs and Officers, during Drill or more formally Pass and Review instances.
Final Drill Winner, Platoon 1075 MCRD, 1983-1987
Coming from a Sailor this was very nice!! Just a question some of you Marines might be able to answer.. Is this Cadence thought through the Corps or just at Paris Island?
Every Marine had to go through this. Even the Drill Instructors.
One word. SHARP!
GOD be with our USMC

Welcome to The Fleet, Brother Gyrene. Plt 1089, A Co 1st Bn P.I. 1980. Semper Fi.
Thanks brother, Semper Fi. I was first deck follow series, you?
@@jacksonturner7838 2nd Deck.
@@kidbach oh nice, funny story about my cycle, everyone on second deck got VGE (double dragon) because their kill hat IT'd a few of them in the heads at the range, mind you it was only a few of them, but man that stuff spreads like wildfire.
We went straight into our five day BWT and everyone was out in the field puking their guts out
Is this follow series plt 2022?
Parris Island the best drill.
Yep, I just wish there was better sound...Jeez, Cameraman.
Alot of DI's around with clipboards, this a test?
They are judging they recruits and their marching/drill and also judging the DI
Man I miss drill
My Drill Hat and Senior both had the Best Cadences. Motivating as Fuck after a bad day 🔥💯

Sgt Cox...Remember me? Your 4 eye little monster! Picking on me all the time!
3rd Bn.3008 India Co. 1992 You Devil Dogs are crazy I don't miss this. I miss nothing about boot camp not the sand fleas... not the PITS... not the chow... NOTHING... I do however miss my bro's from the fleet SFMF!!!
How many Times per week you Guys got IT ?
i wish the air force called cadence like this instead of “hut two three four” all the damn time
Goddamn im soo sure its singing with extra steps
Is it just me or are they now marching almost flat footed? We were "drilled" to pound our heels into the ground when we marched back in the early 70's...the D.I.'s would even yell Heels! Heels! Heels! when we marched. When did this new style of marching become standard?
After the column left you can see then drive their heels. May just not be as aggressive. I stepped on the yellow footprints in 2017, and my drill hat was all for drill and he made sure we hit that ground hard lol
@@alexpingo1999 drill hat?
@@stevefowler2112 that’s what we called the DI that taught us drill. The one that taught us knowledge was prac hat and the di everyone hated cause they made your life hell was the kill hat
B Co. 1090 lost final drill due to the senior drill fuc(ing up! I should claim that lost as PTSD with the VA. 😂
@mark dickens is this 2102?
Yes
Is that the instructor from mutant Mike video
What Is he exactly singing?
Chris Jungclaus Cadence
hes just saying left and right
Basically he is saying left right left but alot of drill instructors like to make it into a little song so it keeps the recruits in step
Cadence trust me its a lot easier to march to that then then just marching by yourself with no cadence
It ain't a song unless you been there, and every DI calls it different,... But it's all the same
Should I join the Air Force or Marine corps
If you hafta ask... don't join the Marine Corps....
Ok
If you join the Marine Corps, it's a pride that will stay with you for life. Trust me I'm 65 yrs old. Semper Fi from an old Marine Sergeant.
Join the Marines. If washed out, then try the Army or Air Force.
You may join the Air Force, but you don't join the Marine Corps!
It must be earned!
