The Story of the BNSF Casselton Crash

On a cold winter afternoon 2 BNSF trains were scheduled to pass by eachother in Casselton North Dakota, but a derailed grain car on one of trains leads to a disaster.

You forgot the part where order of the train crew members. Borrowed some of our fire gear went in and uncoupled some of the remaining oil cars so they could be pulled away.

They did warn the crude oil train. If you watch the actual video you can hear them on the radio warning them to watch out. And the crude oil train was in an operator emergency stop prior to the collision.
