      If you like this style, it's called "mid-century modern." Look up images of mid-century modern tables and a lot of them will have those angled, tapered wooden legs.

    • @Daxxxter99
      @Daxxxter99 ปีที่แล้ว +22

      This is a piano, not a synthesizer. You would never be turning knobs and pushing buttons AS you play, so I don’t think tactility would ever be an issue. Acoustic pianos don’t have buttons apart from the keys.
      If it’s a matter of accessibility something like braille engravings could be useful.

    There was a time when I was diagnosed with depresión. The only thing that got me through that period was sitting at my Privia and improvising, letting my emotions flow. • @sub-jec-tiv
      @sub-jec-tiv ปีที่แล้ว +17

      For Rhodes, around the same money used you can get a Yamaha CP73/88, which has better/more different Rhodes samples.. the Rhodes options are amazing and you can multi-layer them. Also, metal chassis. But really it’s a matter of personal preference, how you feel about the sounds & keyboard feel are the most important thing of course. I just happen to love the different Rhodes sounds on the CP series 🥰

    • @swilhelm3180
      @swilhelm3180 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You know you can get samples for any sound you want? And they probably will be a lot better than what is tossed in with a piano. And listening through little piano speakers is also silly if you want decent, realistic sound. Its really a shame manufacturers waste so much effort and expense in making a complete package. Midi controllers are where its at. Just the keyboard and nothing but. Then you supply the right speakers, amp and samples for making it happen for your needs. Everyone is different so everyone needs different equipment. But we al need a good keyboard that translates our finger movements into music.

    Super cool aesthetic! As of the past 6 years when I hear Casio is coming out with something new, I geniunely look forward to seeing what their latest products offer with the additional consideration of being very generous to those who can not afford the flagship models of rival companies. Admittedly, I do feel a bit teased everytime because I everytime I am hoping to see products like the PX-5S or the PX-560. Those instruments have proven to me to be enourmously versatile, compact, practical. Ever since the new Acoustic sound card/chip - I have been looking forward to seeing a keyboard the likes of the aformentioned ones. Fingers crossed!

      Please no, just try sound of those stage pianos and sound of digital pianos that looks like traditional piano. Then you will see, that those stage piano's sound is plastic and weak. I was also thinking about buying a stage piano, but the sound difference got me...but I bought Yamaha CLP 735, something more powerfull my neighbours would not like :-))
      Now I have checked it has 4 x 8 W speakers and for example CLP 735 has 2 x 30 W speakers. But if I look on same price range, then there is CLP 745 with 4 x 50 W speakers...
      So it can look good, it can be transported "easily", but sound is not definitely great. But on the other hand my digital piano has better sound, but it is very hard just to move somewhere :-)
      There should be both types of pianos.

    Hello good development of the Casio Privia series. New sounds are always a selling point. I have a PX-S 3000 myself. The different key weights, which have caused some discussions, do not bother me personally. Anyone who has ever played on an old piano has it exactly the same way. I personally like the design very much for such a compact piano. The PX-S 7000 has a microphone input and vocal effects. Nothing about this is mentioned in any of the videos.
