The Dr is in the house! This is the first time this popular Korean song was sung in English. This is also the first time Morissette sang in Korean (at the latter part of the song). A lot of Koreans say that her pronunciations were on point. Have you done her signature song Akin Ka Na Lang on the WishBus? Thank you for analyzing this performance. If you have a chance to go back to Asia Song Festival but this time in 2017 where Morissette sang two songs and killed it. One of the member of Little Mix even tweeted a clip of the first song she sang which was Little Mix’s Secret Love Song and started following Morissette on instagram coz they were so amazed by her.
Seen this on my recommendation and I have no regrets watching this reaction and analysis. It is infact that I really love Morissette and I really love your analysis Dr. You are so specific and eloquent. Thank you!

Hi! Dr. Marc, you are amazing in your analysis. From the stage set up, the tree, the sequenced outfit, the sound feedback where the singer must wear an earpiece or have a monitor to get live feedback of sound and be on time when she sings. It is difficult for a singer to sing in a large venue as sound travels in a sine wave and may come back to the point where the singer is and may cause confusion in the timing... a little background on why she sang this song. A Korean friend residing in the Philippines taught her how this popular song from a Korean TV drama music is sung & pronounced. She learned it a few days before performing it live, her second time in Korea Asian Music Festival. In the music video of this song, the tree was a sentimental background of the song and the actor. The movie storyline is about a dying bachelor (Choi Woo Jin) who withdrew all his savings and spent it like a king for his last 3 months to live. But, Kim Sul Gi an office mate who fell in love with him would not give up on him..... Anyway, it was a perfect choice of song for the Korean audience who fell into tears after she sang in Korean language the chorus which caught them unaware and surprised. And of course her vocal prowess & delivery completed the splendid 5-minute performance. KUDOS TO YOUR STAGE & MUSIC EXPERTISE.

She wasnt feeling well here. because she went here in Dubai for her concert and when she sang her voice didnt came out so and also she needed to adjust the time of her concert to take some medicine and after that she flew over there in KOREA and performed in ASIA FESTIVAL..She's a proffesional singer really.. ;) Thank you for appreciating Mori.. ;)

@13:02 is everything you just said. Vocal athletes need to remember that singing involves every part of the body and that includes all facial muscles. But that’s what separates good singers from the great ones is to be so well in tuned with their vocal prowess that they’re so confident in them that they can spend a great deal of their time performing with embellishing the performance with vocal textures like whistle/growl/squeak and also the physical part which is the deliverance that includes body gestures and facial expressions to match the words/moments a song.

If you like do a reaction on Angelina Jordan I put a spell n you she is 13 now and a living legend already. She won Norway got talent with 8 as a jazz singer and she is on Agt Champions now. you do realize that she just got from a concert and then rehearsed the song in less than 2 weeks..they have to tweak the song because it is originally in korean..she cant rest because she has to practice the song in a short span of time..also in that two weeks she was still doing shows meaning her voice cant rest..u can hear that her voice is a little bit tired in that song and on top of that, she got a cold..nevertheless, she still delivered the essence of the song..if you want a perfect perfomance live then better watch artists that use robotic autotunes
