She broke my heart 12/2/'23. Rejected. Abandoned. 8yrs gone. But God had a plan. Reconnect with Him. No more alcohol. Selfcare id neglected. Family reconnected. Promotion. Admitted to Doctoral program. New truck. New hobbies. Leveled up. And now....He has answered an impossible prayer. God is good.

Same here, but my son-in-law's mother is to blame here. She moved to town, bought a very large house and moved the children and grandchildren into it. Just not me. Therefore, she caused everyone to stop speaking to me. In the mean time I've written 2 books, acquired a wonderful job, and am now a liscensed tax preparer! No way was I going to crawl into a hole!
YOU too, can live your life better, YOU can make your life better. They have freed up your time for YOU to make your life awesome!

The idea that God uses our brokenness to reach out to others is such a great reminder. It's a reminder that our trials and tribulations can be used for a greater purpose. Keep shining His light! 💖

I don’t know you, but you have me. You are worth it. Pushing through pain and loneliness is hard, but you can do it. I have done it many times. It’s never easy. Take a look at the simple and beautiful things in life, the sunrise or sunset, the outdoors, etc and see that there is beauty everywhere in the world and it is a gift to be able to see it.

I've been divorced for almost 3 years and it's so hard to forgive. I will never forget the experience and I will always carry it with me but that doesn't mean it will control you. We must keep moving forward not just for us but for the people we love because we carry them with us too.
