A nice easy phone to repair.
Watch out when replacing the digitizer as the frame is easy to break

      Nice vid.
I am in the situation that my screen does not light up at all. When i turn on the phone it vibrates and boot up fine, and i can hear the messages ticking in - but no light in screen at all. What to do? Is the screen not receiving power, or just not working? The screen does not have a dent at all, and i have never dropped it on the floor?

Casper Andreasen it might be worth trying a new display but there's a chance it still might not work if its a problem with the mainboard. You won't know until you try...

Thanks a lot for doing this video. l had a cracked touch screen. So after watching this video, l went and bought a new one with the tools for the job for less than £10. Saved me a lot of stress and money too doing it myself with your help. Thanks again and a thumbs up from me.

Excellent video and instructions! My wife cracked her screen a few months back, I bought a cheap replacement phone to keep her going until the contract was due for renewal but then thought I'd have a go at repairing it after seeing this video. Picked up a new screen for £8 from Amazon and had it fitted and working perfectly in 20 mins thanks to this video.

I just finished successfully replacing my glass screen for $5.50 (part value on "ebay" - glass and frame). Thanks very much for this excellent video tutorial.

Brilliant instructions, this was quiet simple the tricky bit was the tape to remove the digitizer please make sure you heat as instructed it makes it easier. I did crack my frame in one place but it did not effect the phone and afterwards the phone was workng lovely. So thank you together with your instructions and a new digitizer screen from ebay including tools for a fiver saved me over 70 quid!!! can i give you one bit of constructive feed back though, the bit about testing the new screen for compatability first should be at the begining of the vid not at the end. Thanks very much x

hi, my phone screen is cracked and the touch doesn't respond at all... the device turns on, and I can see my sim pin request so I assume the display is still functional...correct? So I would just need the digitizer i presume. The frame is pretty shot too, the glass from the screen buckled it so I would buy a combo of frame and screen. This video is highly detailed and informative. Thanks so much. Just gota wait for delivery and to hunt down one of those T4 thingies. So after new installation, and considering the screen is not faulty, should my phone be 100% functional again?

What's the most hassle free method to fix just a broken digitizer? I really cant be bothered dealing with glue or tape or whatever to put it back together, if i buy the digitizer+LCD with frame will I be able to just take the phone apart and slot the full screen, digitizer and frame component right in? or do these come as individual components?

Hi! Thank you for this video. Does this work with the lcd display screen of nokia 520 rm-1032? the tech guys I found said that they would need to change the touchscreen, the glass and the display, not only the display. It's the price of a new cellphone. Thank you!
