- I share the real China with you on one sunny day in January 2024. I was sick for a few days and this video is my experience of coming outside again and into the sunlight after a few dull days in bed. I see lots of Chinese people walking their dogs together, the beautiful Nanjing Olympic Bridge and walk my Corgi teeny. I hope to show you what everyday life is like in China 中国. My footage is in the city of Nanjing 南京

Please check out the Timekettle translation gadget using the two links below, I highly recommend this translation gadget as it's much faster than using my phone apps to translate and saves my phone battery. There are a few devices on the companies website but the device I used in my recent video about visiting China without speaking the language is inexpensive and called the Timekettle Fluenttalk T1 Mini translator.

These little animals are so lucky that at least they won't die from being too cold. In some northern cities, such as Beijing, winters are so cold that stray cats live on average only two years. My university formed the Cat Society, which is dedicated to protecting the cats that roam the campus, even during the New Year, and people stay to feed the animals. Cats in the south, mainly because of the winter rains that can cause death from hypothermia, and of course there are many volunteers trying to rescue these stray cats, such as adoption or neutering, etc., people around the world are all seemed to be so kind in saving animals.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share. That’s amazing that your h over with has formed a cat society, it’s beautiful when people help animals. Animals are so pure and peaceful and loving ❤️🌻✌️
So why not raise Alaskans, Huskies if you live in cold places such as Beijing?
@@HotPromptHub Beijing is only cold for a few months each year, in the summer it’s very hot there 🙂
Nice, that vantage point of the bridge is amazing
Love your passion for animals- wish I was in a position to support you financially, but I always try to like and comment on your videos. Hope it helps, because I love to see China through your eyes.
Thanks David 🙏🏻🙂 No worries at all, your thoughtful and kind comments and likes help a lot 👍🌻 thank you very much!
Good to see that you have recovered from your sickness, and now walking around your local suburb. You have integrated well, into local Chinese life, with the fellow dog owners. It’s a good way to meet others ,with a similar like for pets.
Thanks Roger, still recovering but hopefully fully better soon. Yeah it is nice to be able to meet lots of dog owners, it’s lovely to see people coming together like this, with a common interest / pet.
❤
So lovely to get out in the winter sunshine. 😊
I've never seen so many dogs together. Was it a special event?
Apparently dog owners regularly meet here. There are a number of locations around the city where this happens 🙂

I see. 👍💜
Thanks
Thank you very much 🙏🏻🙏🏻✌️🙂
China welcomes every foreign friend who likes China!🇨🇳
Thank you 🙂👍

How's the wheelchair accessibility over there?
Seems alright from what I can tell, most curbs have slopes onto the road and public transport / malls etc all have lifts. I’ve seen quite a few ramps leading up from footpaths too.
That dog park looks no different from the dog park in San Francisco. Trees, lawns, canines, people and the vibe.
Cool. It’s just a regular plot of land where dog owners decided to meet. It does have a nice vibe. I’d like to visit San Fransisco, mostly to see the Golden Gate Bridge and to walk down the big hills. I remember a computer game called San Fransisco Rush, many years ago, it was a lot of fun driving around San Fransisco! 😂😎
Golden Gate Bridge is epic. You got to bike on it ;)@@middlekingdomproductions
Hopefully one day I’ll have the chance 👍😎
