    The train station would put a lot of international airport to shame. Even the green-skin cars are not run down nor dirty.
    I love the way you string together the old and new. I really like your choice of music to match the content.

    Wow,Amazing....I have taken a high-speed train, been to Nanjing for a few days, and eaten roast duck. I have also been to the museum, which displays some collections of China's five thousand years, which is amazing. I also saw other foreigners in the museum. The streets of Nanjing are relatively clean, and the quality of the people is very high. This is completely different from the China reported in the United States. I have been to New York and took the subway, and it is dilapidated. It's hard to imagine that this is the number one power. I feel that China is the number one power. However, many scholars have predicted that China will officially surpass the United States in GDP in 2028 and become the world's number one.

    The best way to see the difference is looking to old videos here on TH-cam of STEAM trains in China which were still very much around some twenty years ago.
    Nostalgia is looking with colored glasses to the past, things look much better in memory than they really were.
    In those old steam train videos you'll see people getting very dirty (black coal), working very hard AND being quite poor, living in very poor housing.
    Today the trains are clean, people still work very hard but their houses and other living conditions are much better.

    Fun fact: k train is the slowest train now, but actually k is short for kuaiche (快车 fast train)😅. It can go up to 120km/h, witch is indeed very fast like 70 yrs ago. Besides k train, we also have T (tekuai 特快 super fast 140km/h) Z(zhida 直达 direct 160km/h) C(chengji 城际 intercity) D(dongche 动车 Powered 250km/h) and G(gaotie 高铁 high speed 350km/h)

    What China is teaching us!!! or whoever is awake and wide open! INFRASTRUCTURE is KEY and LIFEBLOOD to the basics of a nation! China is doing it, BUILDING / CONSTRUCTING EVERYWHERE!!! Not just inside China! Outside China for other nations in need!!!
    Its an obvious lesson here! China is showing you without telling you!!!!
    China is building faster than the West can destroy!!!!! We've got the closest we've ever been to world peace now!!!!!!!! And its coming at us in CHINA SPEED!!!!!
    Anyone thinking of their future or is at a crossroads? China is at the centre of EVERYTHING!

    中国which pronunced “Zhong Guo” actually stands for Central Empire, not Middle Kingdom according to it’s Chinese meaning.

    • @indeficit2

      it literally translates to middle kingdom. what are you talking about??

    • @KinLee919
      @KinLee919 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, according to historians, the original meaning of 中国 is more like 'capital' the center of the kingdom, and time past, people start to use it to refuer the whole country.

    • @indeficit2
      @indeficit2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KinLee919 Historically, when China consisted of warring states, the term referred to the central states and not to any one state in particular. Makes no sense to use the term guo for the capital, if you ask me.

    • @KinLee919
      @KinLee919 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@indeficit2 some experts think 国(國 or oracle bone 或)is the original word for 郭 mean walled city,there are a lot if example where 国 has the meaning of capital or city:
      国中九经九纬。--《考工记·匠人》。注:“城内也。”
      三曰国禁。--《周礼·士师》。注:“城中也。”
      在国曰市井之臣。--《孟子》。注:“谓都邑也。”

      先王之制,大都不过参国之一,中五之一,小九之一。--《左传·隐公元年》
      武夫力而拘诸原,妇人暂而免诸国。--《左传·僖公三十三年》
      愿君顾先王之宗庙,姑反国统万人乎!--《战国策·齐策》
      登斯楼也,则有去国怀乡,忧馋畏讥,满目萧然,感极而悲者矣。--范仲淹《岳阳楼记》
      In Menzi(Mencius) it said: 【孟子】大國,地方百里,次國,地方七十里,小國,地方五十里。(big guo has a radius of hundreds li, medium guo has a radius of 70 li, small guo has a radius of 50 li) the morden 50 li is 25km, a radius of 25km, looks like a city to me.

    Woah, fairly cheap for business class. Nothing to compare as Australia does not have high speed trains (they have been talking for decades, nothing ever gets done). Thanks for your comment 👍 I bought my ticket on trip.com, when you buy the ticket you give your name and passport number so you don’t need a ticket you just need to show your passport. You can also buy a regular ticket at the ticket office. You scan QR codes to buy food, most payments in China are made using apps and QR codes, I find it really fast and easy paying this way but you can also use cash if you want to👍🙂

    put it into glaring context and comparison..... China went from 0 to world leading in HSR in 10 years!!!!!
    alot of us get nothing done in 10 years! Alot of Western nations!!!
    Shenzhen went from fishing village to holy heck!!!! Bladerunner cyber cityscape in 40yrs! All of China in fact got a fullscale upgrade in 40 yrs not just Shenzhen!
    Shenzhen was the poor looked down upon neighbour of HK! HK was the jewel in the 80s and 90s 2000s
    Shenzhen is now hitech whatever you want hitech capital of the universe!
    for comparison and context! of the 40 yrs of Shenzhen and role reversal of HK and from "1 Million Bicycles in Beijing!" to now Electronics, HSR and EV capital of the universe!
    Beginning of those 40 yrs the UK talked and promised HS2!!!! London to the North or Birmingham or something! the UK is still squawking about it!!!! 40+ yrs later!!! No joke!!!! Richard Branson is now an old man and has been to space and back!!!! HS2 was going to use Virgin leaning trains!!!!!! I was a kid FFS!!!!
    China is now leading in battery tech and renewables!!!! All future Sony / Apple products will inevitably heck forget consumer electronics!! We're talking fullscale Jets / passenger planes maybe being powered by electric power!!!! CATL sodium batteries!! BYD!!!!
    Sorry the West are corrupt and have been sitting on their arse and i dont know funding Zelensky!!! Now obviously the West want to blow up all of Chinas achievements LOL
    HSR in the UK!!!??? is a dream!!!! and funnily enough the UK is now getting China to help out LOL... UK is actually messing about with China on all fronts! and screwing itself! because vassal of the losing US!
    yeah looks like i'll have to visit Asia or China to experience "Public Transport"

But the lack of chat and constant, more than irritating music on other videos and the often strange pauses with staring at blank walls, stray cats, pavements and old tat just got so incredibly lifeless and boring I gave up.
