Coach Beard is one of my favorite tv characters of all time. His deadpan comedy and perfect comedic timing with Ted, knowledge of almost everything, and warm heart really bring out the best in other characters. I especially loved the scenes where he forgives Nathan and his crazy press conference.
Fr, especially after hearing the story he told Nate. Makes everything he did in the show hit that much harder because you can see the genuine gratefulness from beard that he had for Ted. Everyone needs a coach beard in their life
@@lewis5319 It’s two different scene what im trying to say, the first one is when Henry, Ted, & Willis Beard in this hey jude song, and second one is when Ted trying to speak the truth to his mother before the finale episode.
Is EVERY single Ted Lasso scene this amazing? The writing, the acting, I'm guessing the directing too. The actor playing Henry is so unbelievably good here.
I have never actually taken the time to sit down and watch this show (which is clearly FANTASTIC), but, when I watch the occasional clip (like this one), I always wind up with tears in my eyes.
I love to imagine an alternate universe where Henry has never heard this song, has no idea what's coming. Watch the look of terror as Beard goes "better better better better better better AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" right in his face 😂
Damn!! Just realised something. Beard is Paul here and Henry is Julian. Beard is consoling the son of his best mate about the split up of his mom and dad. The scene feels like a homage to the story behind Hey Jude.
This happens quite often in the north. You just need a crowd pleasing song like hey Jude, country roads or wonderwall. I dare you to start singing in the middle of the pub and people will join very quickly. And I don’t think it’s a universal thing - in my home country they would pretend you don’t exist and/or call mental facility.

How the heck do you pick a favorite character from this show? They are all so perfectly written with flaws but somehow still so very likable.

Beard reminds me a lot of my older brother, like, an eerie amount, and it makes his character that much better for me.
Could bring a grown man to tears
No doubt
*Did
I cry every time I watch this scene. And I’ve watched it like 15-20 times already. 😭
particularly if he had lost both Parents before he turned 8 back in the 60's...
Well, I cry every time when I watch this scene.... There are so many little moments here like The Beatles was Henry's and Ted Lasso's favorite band
Henry says “I like that,” just like his dad does in other episodes when someone says something meaningful he likes.
Being so happy and sad at the same time , magical scene
Arguably, the greatest use of a Beatles' song in cinematic history.
Brendan Hunt has a deep personal connection to Hey Jude in real life and knowing that just makes this scene so much better
What is his connection
i love this scene and when ted spit everything in front of his mother, very powerful & relieving
That’s not his mum…

Yes
Yes, it’s an incredible show
YES it is!

One of the more underrated scenes of this spectacular production.....
Rebecca seems so emotional [beyond acting] when she tells Ted he needs to stop letting yesterday get in the way of today. Did anyone else see that?
If you are not grinning and singing along with this by the end, there's something you need therapy for.
Ted Lasso brings me so much joy.
amen

Pure goosebumps from this scene, great show ❤
What beautiful way to include this beautiful song in the show, and explaining it well
I just love her correcting his French! :)
The greatest series of all time.
Shout out to brentford for singing this song at every home game
They do? Didn't know that. That's nice!
Have never caught the "cuz my dad does" reference to Football fandom. Great touch.
This show saved my life during a hard time.
I feel you
this scene is just so wholesome i love it
ive heard Hey jude many times but never felt anythign towards it but after watching this i havent been able to stop singing and listening to
Coach beard knows pretty much everything.
I’m so happy beard got more screen time and basically became the secondary protagonist of this show, the one thing season 1 needed was more beard
I frigging love this
The Busker is called Alex Vargas, a really talented danish singer
I was looking for this version, cause this is soo good. Perfect for the scene as well, Thanks man
Merci buckets, very nice!
This show was so amazing and heartfelt..
The great Alex Vargas🤩🤩🤩
"Now get back there and sing hey Jude with your son."
preparing the kid to join the diamond dogs
Awesome! Never seen this before.
Turning point in Ted’s life. Great scene
Alex Vargas!!!
Thank you 🙏

I just got that too. I don’t know how I missed it the first time.
You serious?
And I was thinking Beard made up the story to comfort Henry😂
@@pulseofages it’s a true story
Wow! You know, I think he’s right!
God I love this showww
tears
best scene in the show
a serie, os beatles, o ted, o henry, o beard, tudo incrivel, que série incrivel.
I'm crying
Beautiful
It should be 'Hey Jules' - for Julian Lennon - but Paul changed it. a classic.
I love you too, Willis.
As someone who’s parents divorced, this scene brings me to tear every time
"De lien buckets"
Believe
This scene is so much better now that Real Madrid signed Jude bellingham
Same reason I like the monkees.
Coach Beard rocks……. End of discussion…
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sex in the city is low key funny
1:18. 2:00. 3:00
Essa cena é foda
Hey Jude is about a little boy named Jules
John Lennon's son Julian, as a matter of fact.
BELLINGHAM BELLINGHAM!!!
I can't lie this would never happen in the uk no matter the place
