I try not to be too harsh but man, as an Irish person who has to play this song regularly, you probably shouldn't have posted this one. The song as well is about IRA bombs going off and the troubles, an American soldier singing it as if it's to do with war kind of annoys me a little 🤣 look just my opinion I wish her the best, just not a good cover.
Not to diminish your feelings or opinion, could this not also resonate with a US soldier who has possibly had to deal with the fiasco that was Afghanistan?
