The concept of killing an apostate has absolutely no connection with Islam. The scholars have made a grave mistake. Firstly, it is completely contrary to the Holy Qur'an. It is not proven from the practices of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Nor is there any evidence from authentic Hadiths. If any apostate was killed, it was not because of apostasy but due to other rebellious actions, acts of murder, or conspiracy to murder.

The concept of killing an apostate has absolutely no connection with Islam. The scholars have made a grave mistake. Firstly, it is completely contrary to the Holy Qur'an. It is not proven from the practices of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Nor is there any evidence from authentic Hadiths. If any apostate was killed, it was not because of apostasy but due to other rebellious actions, acts of murder, or conspiracy to murder.
