My goodness what a cool episode. Always amazing to see that much wildlife, especially that close to a major city. You should’ve let that sea otter catch a ride on the back of the kayak!
Sounds like you got good receptions at the local yacht clubs there, which one would expect, but I guess that’s not always the case. Looks like Kat is feeling good and I understand the Monterey Bay aquarium is a pretty amazing place.

Thanks Wade! Glad you enjoyed it. Haha, I certainly wasn't trying to encourage the sea otter! I was scared after nearing about the otters in Santa Cruz that are stealing surf boards....

Enjoyed the sights. I especially got a kick out of the sea lion wanting to board Trevor’s kayak!

Hmmm, places are different for everyone. Here we helped two marines slip over the base fence at 4AM as they were AWOL after drunkenly discussing US military culture with us for 6 hours. They were very intelligent and I learned a lot from their point of view. Your videos are great. You two are finding great wild life and traipsing off on interesting treks.

Thanks for comment, Jerry! Sounds like you had some interesting adventures in Monterey. The jets overhead certainly made it clear there was a base nearby!
