From a defensive minded perspective (my favorite player is Ben Wallace). I absolutely love that Draymond is a Warrior. Watching this man routinely stop 1 on 2, 1 on 3 fastbreaks is just ridiculous. Just like Steph has made playing offense look so easy, Dray has done the same on the defensive side. It's been a joy and an honor to watch this team play basketball. Cheers 🍻

Fr, it's insane how people don't understand just how good Draymond Green is. He can guard 1 through 5, he's probably the best help defender in the league for the last decade, AND he is incredible at forcing offensive players to put themselves into a disadvantage. He frequently shuts down those 1 on 2 and 1 on 3 breaks almost as if he knows what's coming, and he is an absolute defensive genius. You can take literally any team, doesn't matter how bad they are on defense. You stick Draymond Green in there SOMEWHERE, and their defense isn't gonna suck anymore. Draymond really is like a Ray Lewis on the hardwood. He knows where he's supposed to be, where his teammates are supposed to be, where the other team is supposed to be, and probably can see the plays coming before they happen. The man is the greatest defender of his generation IMHO, and I feel like his game is a great test to see just how much someone knows ball. If you don't know ball, you think he's a gimmick. If you KNOW ball, you know he IS the system on defense just like Steph is on offense like you said

    • @MJ-xq2wj

True. That's why Barkley only attacks Draymond on the offense side. Because Barkley knew that Draymond is really good on D.

@@reg12269 bro I don’t even think Draymond started on those Olympic teams. They were going to win with or without Draymond. So the brag of “I got two gold medals” is a bit misleading. Also Draymond tryin in to convince everyone that they don’t know basketball if they don’t like his game is laughable. Appreciate his coach Steve didn’t know basketball either cause he was benched in the 4th quarter in the finals last year. Steph Clay and KD were going to win with or without Draymond. Draymond can’t say that about them. He has trophies but he wasn’t the man to get the trophies but he talks like he was and y’all fall for it.

Dra, as #1 fun of GSW and a mom of you’ll, my advice to you all is to put your differences aside and unite as one family and help each other to succeed and excel. It’s beautiful to watch you guys winning and being on top of the league as the best team. We need you veterans to help the young ones excel too, no matter how they behave sometimes. They are your younger brothers and therefore, immature so please exercise patience with them and focus on the business. Thanks and love you all. God bless you all and good luck. Dray you have had your days in the light and you have grown from it. Hopefully these guys look at the Draymond’s, Steph’s, Bron’s and others and take a page out you’ll book and read ALL lines. Hi Draymond - blessings to you. Man, when I watch you and the team roll and things are clicking, I'm not going to lie - it's amazingly fun to watch.. I don't hear people talk about it a lot but the energy and effort you bring in just how you run up the court on a break is awesome to see. I just want to say here though that you, and myself, can do better. Specifically, with our words. I know the temptation is real to want to lay into someone who's saying things about you. I can want to do it too. But things start sinking down into lower levels when we respond in the same way that someone else comes at us. No good comes of it often. May both you AND I be better men. You have a great platform here, Draymond. I appreciate your hard work and effort on and off the court when it comes to working your tail off. But don't let the anchor of people's actions and words bring you down to a level that's not beneficial. I think there's layers to this TH-cam thing. The professional and elite, albeit certainly still imperfect at times, stay above the fray. I have confidence in you, Draymond. May you and I BOTH be ones who stay above the fray. - Blessings.

Feeling like the nobody seems to recognize how different the team energy is with Steph on court. Over the last half dozen games prior to SC's return JP made a huge evolution in running the offense. He was really starting to control and distribute and slowed way down on the 3ball and instead hunted the open player or a better read on the defense. It was fantastic to watch because Klay and bench were engaged and empowered. This ended up giving them that last 4 game run where everyone was getting touches with lots of double digit scores across the roster. This also kept everyone engaged in the transitions feeding tons of energy on the defensive end. With Steph there is too much emphasis on him being the dominant scorer which for me, as much as I love seeing him do his thing it is not nearly as exciting as seeing the whole team sharing the ball. This is a better team than last year with great depth and shooters galore. Steph does not need to carry anyone now. He needs to let go of that role and get back to warriors ball. Btw, really really missing Belli. That man was soooooo underated in soooo many ways on what he did for the team. He and Kevon were the silent difference makers to taking the whole enchilada!
