Ashnflash so this idea came across my mind after making the pac man set (really cool btw) but LEGO has been doing 80’s stuff targeting towards older people and I thought that a good Idea would be 80 action movie cmf series like robo cop terminator Aliens Rambo and like the classic movie cmf and you can have 2 or 3 characters from each movie please make this on LEGO ideas it would be awesome I love your vids and I would love if you did this thanks 🙏
Imagine if they did the entire Middle-earth map with microbuilds for the Shire, Rivendell, Moria, Murkwood, the Lonley Mountain, Lothlórien, Rohan, Isengard, Fanghorn, Gondor, and Mordor.
What I’d love is for them to do multiple of these, like @steve152 suggested, and then you can combine them all into one big map of middle earth. Maybe, if not everything is included, they could sell an extra set which would have some extra bits to the map and maybe a legend and stuff so that in the end it will look like a completed map
Aside from actual architecture, I'd love to see some natural scenery at this microscale. Think the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls... 30cm square, or 20x40 if it's a long thing, works really well on a shelf.
This set is so wonderful. I've always liked the big version of Hogwarts but hated that it was only a partial representation of the castle. This gives me EVERYTHING I wanted in a Hogwarts Castle build while also remaining small and portable
Great looking set, almost perfect, I just don't get why there is no Clock Tower as the only part of the Hogwarts Castle missing, I'm sure someone can make a moc to make it complete it just would have been nice to have some exclusive print for the clock tower as well
Where exactly do you see it? The clock tower should connect by bridge from the hospital wing that is behind the great tower. As far as I can see there is nothing like that..
I really like all the little details like the sand green crystals on this set. Hopefully this opens the door for more licensed Architecture sets in the future.
I have wanted the large Hogwarts castle for a long time now, but the price was way to steep for me. This one is amazing! I really like it, I probably won't get it on launch but it will be a great Christmas present!

It seems like you've placed the Astronomy Tower the wrong way, the hole should face the Great Hall, but it's nice to see that it can be flipped around as that is what it looked like in the first couple of films! Too bad the Clock Tower is not included tho, the Hogwarts Architect fig is def the highlight of the set for me!
i'm debating if i should get it or not... i only need the battle of hogwarts to finish the big "minifig scale" hogwarts modular system. BUT this is a much fuller hogwarts but i'm not a huge fan of micro scale.
When I heard about this set initially, I was a bit bummed thinking it wasn't the big expansion for the $500 Hogwarts one - felt like there were some missing pieces there. But seeing this set for real totally changed my mind. I'm actually loving it! Even though I've got the massive Hogwarts set, I never got around to building it 'cause my space is tight. This new set is a lifesaver for folks like me with limited display room. 🏰
one of the few categories I got into LEGO for was the micro scale look, and architecture for sure. A great combination. I definitely want to see more of these, licensed and non licensed alike.
Excellent set, Im getting this one. Using the polybag quidditch field is genius. There is also more missing landscape like Hagrid's Hut, the owlery, some part of the forbidden forest.... I'm very excited to expand this sets
I kinda hate how this still isn't the whole castle, it's missing the whole back of the castle with the hospital wing, clocktower and clocktower courtyard, and the wooden bridge
I don't understand this set personally. I already have the big castle, but I understand why they would make a cheaper version. The thing is still too much money and the only upside is the founder figure to add to your Icon moments stand woth your 20th anniversary figures.
For me? Because this is the whole castle, I’m gonna be dismantling the other Micro scale one. Saves me space. But ya the figure is amazing and this is the full castle
Love this set. I'd like to see an Add-On to it that could be displayed next to this one that includes Hogsmeade, train station, quidditch pitch, dark forest, and Dragon Arena.
I would love if you could share your opinion and compare this set to the $470 Hogwarts set. Obviously they're different in scale anr price, but maybe there's something about a specific one that makes it much better

Currently in the middle of building the set. Although it is smaller in scale, this is probably the largest set I have done and also it has taken me the longest. I am now going on day three of building it, really having a great time throughout the process. I am definitely going to save the instruction books and go back and read all of the extra information after I am done completing it.

I’d argue the past 2 castles where a lot better because there was more interior details, but this is still an extremely cool set I’d say top 3 or 4 Harry Potter sets

I don’t know why they put two studed pieces on the frame for the minifigure…. Why not just one that you could either put in the middle or on the end? I think it looks a bit stupid having both
the potions classroom is in the dungeons so it makes sense but im also reminded of a scene from The Philosopher's Stone where they encounter Snape's potions/riddle task, but of course it's not intended as such

I'm liking this set. I like the smallest micro scales rather than the medium micro scale. A bit pricey for my likeing though. Maybe I'll sell the mini-fig if it goes for a high amount.

They tried board games with Heroica, Star Wars and a brand they created but it did not work...Although if the do a dungeons and dragons modulable set, its over. This would be the cheapest and the most accessible way to get into roleplaying and you can improve yourself and personnalize with your construction.

For one thing, the games themselves were rather simple and the novelty likely wore off after a few plays even for the young target audience. It also didn't help that they didn't use proper minifigures as the game pieces. D&D would be insane if it combined with the accessibility that Lego offers, the customizable game pieces and characters, not to mention the ability to alter something on the spot. If you're familiar with, I bet a game like Clank would mesh well with Lego elements

It's a wonderful set HOWEVER it is NOT the whole Castle. Once again, the Castle is incomplete. The entire Clock Tower, Clock Tower Courtyard and half the bridge to the Hospital wing is not there. Which is what makes this set not perfect. They were SO CLOSE and then died on the beach. I'm absolutely getting it nevertheless and I'm completing it myself. But I'm not giving 170€ for it. The price seems a bit too high for what we're actually getting. Specially since we're, again, not getting the whole Castle.
I realize it will never happen but I’d cast all 3 unforgivable curses to see this set in minifigure scale version. I know we’ve gotten individual minifigure scale Hogwarts sets since 2018 but never a single UCS minifigure scale version of the entire castle.

I think u put the astronomy tower the wrong way round. In some movies it faces that way but in the later movies, hogwarts legacy and the instructions it faces the other way

Someone made a compatible Lego kit that recreates the rest of the Castle. It's very expensive, but it looks great.

I've been so excited to pick this up. My only criticism is the lack of Hagrid's hut.
Not a HP fan but this set looks fantastic. Hogwarts and Himeji castle both are a great 1-2 punch of micro scale sets.

Amazing. This is a good 50% more complete than the large scale set, but I prefer this BECAUSE it's more complete, but also smaller.

I sometimes forget that the whole design of the castle is completely drawn from the films rather than the book.
