- recorded in July 1988 - American singer and ukulele player, Tiny Tim, is interviewed by Rhode Island astrologer Russ Gorman at the local cable studio in North Attleborough, MA, He reflects on his career, music and even sings the song, "After the Ball".

The man was very underestimated, and intelligent.
Not to mention he knew (he estimated) roughly 200,000 tunes. Imagine remembering the lyrics alone for all these songs!

This guy was a very good interviewer, and Tiny warmed up when he saw how good he was, and really opened up.
He also was a living " encyclopedia" people like tiny tim doesn't come around too frequent.
This is the first interview I’ve ever seen with someone not making a joke out of the guy, and I first saw a tiny Tim on TV probably 55 years ago or more
He had a photographic memory for old songs a great talent

both men so incredibly gracious to each other. this was a breath of fresh air. lmao when tiny started talking about lustful attractions towards women...the interviewer, russ, was a gay man. he died in 2017. much respect to both of these gentleman. they left a fine example to follow. thanks for the upload.

Great artist, and human being... as authentic as they come. Also, he was perfect for the 60s, but I feel like he is also would have fit in perfectly right around the turn of the century. He has a deep mysterious haunting aura about him, but in a good way. Calling him memorable is an understatement. A true classic for the ages.
Really good Tiny Tim interview covered a decent amount of subjects about himself & in general. The host genuinely liked Tiny which made for a compassionate talk. I wish he had a chance to talk more about his 1976 unauthorized autobiography. Thanks for this upload.
Let’s face it Tiny Tim & other unique musicians /entertainers & I know this sounds cliched -come around once in a lifetime & that’s it!

Not only very intelligent but also I wish he would have sung more in his natural voice cause that singing style without overdoing it is rare.
Voice different when just taking but he sa g wonderfully and wish he was still here to entertain us

His repertoire of songs was incredible. Thousands and thousands of songs he could play off the top of his head. I’m struggling to think of any performer who could come close to that level of ability.
I don't necessarily disagree with your admiration, but don't you think it's likely he would've prepared some stuff (in his mind) prior to the show? He was a a creative genius for sure, in kindest sense of the word. I love Mister Tims work and the fact that he loved Jesus like a child would.

Yeah. Those chord progressions on the ukulele are incredible. He must have spent hours practicing. And the wardrobe? Truely the work of a genius. 🤥

The guy married a 17 year old when he was 41. Then when she realizes it was a mistake, she starts seeing other guys. Shocker, huh? But instead of letting her go, he punches her. So she has his daughter. Do you think he supported his own daughter? Nope.
Lets talk about his talent. Well, he can play a ukelele and sing falsetto. Wow. One of a kind. Did you think it was his talent that got him where he is? Of course. Laugh-in recruits people for theyre talent. Not because theyre funny. Get real.
