Join us in hearing the Benton family's heartfelt experience following a traumatic brain injury that their son, Kyle, suffered while longboarding without a helmet. Research shows wearing a helmet consistently increases the chances of avoiding significant injuries during a bicycle, scooter, or skateboard accident by nearly 50% to 85%. Unfortunately, several families in our community have experienced the devastating consequences of accidents where a helmet was not worn.
