Facts
I do have a love hate with it. I miss just flipping or cranking etc. I also want to compete and you have to learn and be good at it. There is a lot of things in my videos, especially fishing videos that I do to prep, learn, and be better at tournament fishing. I want to do it but I have a lot to be better at.

FFS is great for the average angler who doesn't have decades of experience, but it definitely takes away from the fishing experience. Most people who like it also tend not to play video games as much, so sitting in front of a screen like that is a newer experience.
Good or bad, it's definitley changing fishing (I personally don't believe it's for the better, because it's now a tech arms race in fishing lol) but what it's destroying beyond doubt is tournaments. If you don't have 10k in electronics you've lost, and that's wild to think when half those guys would be loosing terribly if they didn't have FFS...

Thanks for introducing your family! I used to fish saltwater about 30 years ago and then due to so much traveling for work got out of all fishing. Having recently moved to Florida, at 76 , I bought a travel rod and started using it the old fashioned way with worms. Then I discovered your channel and started fishing some plastics from the bank of the lakes around here and use plastics 99% of the time mainly because of your videos. Used your Buyers Guide for the rods and reels I’ve purchased to date. Thank you and please keep the videos coming you’re a great teacher!
Hey thank you and you can tell I'm a soft plastics NUT. It's because of the water I fish. It little to no cover, super deep, and crazy clear. I love my wire and hard baits to but there is a time and place for them. It's always the right time for some soft plastics LOL

One tip for you Hank, on the wobble head. After putting on your hook, cut a short piece of shrink tube, slide it up next to the head and shrink it. This will insure that the hook stays on and upright.

Those "squid baits" look like what west coast salmon fishermen call Hoochies. Work well in saltwater for coho and in smaller sizes for lake Kokanee salmon.
I can't wait to put them on a Texas rig or as a trailer on some things. Should be fun.

Very impressed with Bass Reaper Baits; they went out and actually innovated; they could have easily gone out and produced the same old molds but instead they made their own baits. Bass Geek I live in South Georgia, and without fail
After a big rain and the bottom of my local ponds get stirred up I struggle catching anything until the dust settles so to speak,
What can I do after a rain in the ponds when the water becomes very muddy to locate and get fish to bite
In the summer that can be a good thing IF the pond is clear. They will most definitely move tight to cover or structure because they are used to using their eyes to track pray. Stirring up the bottom can also put the bass in a negative mood due to the amount of sediment in the water which irritates gills. So first try to find clean run in. Second try to find and drop, deep spot, grass, wood, rock, etc. shallow and I mean 1foot deep. They will go to the bank

I respect that you talk about all fishing techniques. I understand it's your job and livelihood. It's healthy to disagree in a civil manner. Livescope takes away the magic of fishing. It's so boring to watch people stare at a screen. But I'm not critical of you. And I'm sure a lot of livescope baits can be used without livescope. Just my respectful opinion. Love your channel.
It depends on how you approach it. If you come at me with a closed mind having NEVER seen or used the tech then your opinion is unfounded and based on rumors and theories. You’re feeding into a mass hysteria. Next anglers tend to forget that NOT all water is like their water. Most DONT fish the SUPER highland reservoirs That I fish. Where the bass move completely offshore in schools and roam in open water in the summer. Third it’s about CATCHING. No one has ever fell in love with fishing UNTIL they have caught a fish. CATCHING is what sets the sport of fishing apart from hiking or pleasure boating. Plenary of people love the outdoors but they don’t love bass fishing until they catch one. Then it’s an addiction. People have been staring at screens WELL before live scope. Go back and watch videos from years past if it’s offshore or deep lakes maps and 2d played.
