Great video bro. I have the Chinese ISU-152 and it’s one of my favorite tank destroyers, so satisfying whenever that huge shell kills something. I like to nickname mine The Hammer.

I have it and its a beast on the battlefield but if you show your side armor,you're 100% dead,but if you play right with this monster you could have many kills!
YW! The right side has less flat armor as the tank is asymmetrical and so yes the right side is better protected with just a little bot of angle :) Also if they do pen you the breech will block some shots from hitting the majority of the crew

Haha. The KV-1 Zis a very strong tank with a slightly weak gun. But it’s enough to do well. These two vehicles complement each other well in a lineup. In an uptier spawn the ISU first to delete the tougher enemies. Then later in game spawn the kv1 zis as your armor will be more effective :) of course in downtiers the zis can just go first and smash everything :)
if you have it you could play the object-775, its a meme tank and has the same height as a asu-57. but if you don't want to or you don't have time it won't matter

I see a lot of people rush to the frontline with this thing and die in literal seconds upon contact with the enemy team Boyos this tank is not a frontliner. Let turreted tanks handle the frontlining. Your job is to maneuver along the sector you are operating and take down strategic tanks that pose a problem to your team. Turretless tanks are not made for close ranged combat. Great vid btw
This is why I cringe whenever people say Soviet plan were quantity When I reality paranoid Soviet had plan upon plan Quantity, quality and all because what if this fails
thanks :) HE shells on light open top vehicles will kill anywhere with overpressure but on medium/heavy tanks you need to be aim for a weakspots. @@tankonaut i think crew would be dead either way. Thats a heavy round hitting the tank. I read that is2s isu152s killing panther,tiger,king tigers with HE shells just by the explosive force. Probably lower hull or sides would be a kill just like you said. Sadly we will never find out.
The APHE has 170mm of pen (at point blank) - it can punch through tigers, panthers, jumbos and Churchills without any problem at all. I also take HEAT for any possible problem (and light/open vehicles) - you can use the HE for lols but the APHE is incredibly good.
"giant APCBC with 480 g of TNT" Canone de 90/53 (found on two tech tree Italian vehicles+ the Breda 90/53) with a 90 mm shell with 520 g of TNT in it's APHE: pathetic (BTW, the explosive used isn't even something fancy with increased power, it is literal TNT)
Hi there, if I understand your comment correctly you are saying the ISU shell "isn't giant compared to the Italian Canone de 90/53" - if you want to debate this ok... 1. The ISU shell is 152mm and weighs 48.96kg and now has an INSANE 739.2g of TNT. 2. The Breda shell is 90mm and weights 12kg and now has a nerfed 347g of TNT. These changes were recent I think - but the ISU is substantially more massive and damaging than the breda - even though I LOVE the Breda and the90/53 :) Check my video on it ;)

Hey, so just to let you know that it will take a long time to get to tanks like the T-80BVM. You can buy high tier premiums and premium account to speed up the process but getting to toptier can take 6 months or more, depending on how often you play and how good you are. As it's a big commitment I would choose the nation with the tanks you are excited about/want to play - rather than trying to determine which is best, as all top three nations are very strong (although at top tier russia has a small edge in tanks.) Realize you are going to need to learn the game and grind through the history of a nation to get a top tier lineup - so which country excites you? I personally love all three major nations but when I started I was most excited about playing tigers and panthers when I started. I still love playing them :)
@@tankonaut I'm exited about Germany I had a high interest in the German tanks from a long time but I don't know if they're good I have a 1.3 tank but it easily gets rekt by t-34s and it's impossible to kill a kv-1 everywhere it is just a hit Thank you for being really nice to me
This is personal preference. The APHEBC is a phenomenal round that has huge TNT filler. It punches through anything you can meet. I love the HE for derp fun, but I find at range there is less RNG with APHE :)

It's one weakspot is it's lower frontal plate, Around the tracks, And if you show too much of your side, The enemy can ammorack you.
yep, just a little angle to show the right side I found to be really good.
This thing has aphebc that can pentrate a tiger 1 even with an angle but the tiger 1 can just shoot the lower hull
Yep, I mean a tiger is a whole battle rating above it - so yes it can be killed but it’s very dangerous :)

I agree volumetric is hell - but I don't run into too many issues in the ISU - I just avoid turret shots which have a lot of armor overlaps.

I think if you shot the composite turret you probably wouldnt do too much damage but shooting the lower hull or sides would be a one shot IMHO ;)
