Nice video mate. Good to see that work is still being done on B72. It will be awesome to see it back on the mainline again.

, yes, and they can hire it out to bring in money for many important projects. i figure that hiring locos out explains how good the seymour heritage stuff looks.

Excellent progress. I hope when the time comes there is going to be a video of 72's first start up and run around the yards when it happens. Great to see 72 closer to hitting the rails again.

enjoyed this. i'm curious to know why the lift wasnt done by gantries inside the workshops. after all, heavy harry would have been lifted up in there.

sick video... are they planning to make the entirety of B72 in tangerine teacup livery?

Did they just change the trucks with two bogies for three bogies?

Good video but I wish there was some narration especially on a reconstruction of a locomotive that is so cool but you know these are supposed to be relics from the past so please let's get a little history into the restoration thank you

@@STYtrainspotter2007 Many thanks ! Lets hope they can bring it back soon, like SETS did with the 86's in NSW. The L's were great machines !

@@STYtrainspotter2007 the L class was sidelined after it shorted substations and blacked out parts of Newport because it drew too much current same reason two chopper comeng sets couldn't be coupled

@@ducky_the_helper Sounds like an electrical "problem" with the controller. I'm thinking it might have developed a "short" somewhere!

Will B72 be fully overhauled and operational or be a static display only ?

07:45 As an American, it's so strange seeing a B class next to an F class. To me it just looks like an American diesel locomotive next to a British one.
