I'm an AV tech that has used the 95-05-10 SB every day for 6 months. I've converted half our team to use these over Klein or CE electricians snips. They're great and I can't praise them enough.

I bought these Knipex shears for my electricians kit that I put together. I like them enough that I carry them at work where I work at an auto parts store. They cut everything up to 4 gauge battery cable very nicely and also cut fuel injection hose very well as well. They make excellent all-purpose shears. Just wish they were maybe half an inch longer beyond the cable notch.

I truly couldn't believe how well they cut.

Olfa makes a 7 inch general use heavy duty scissors, similar to these electritians scissors, that I like way more than Knipex! The steel is FAR superior and they make 2 models, one great for pocket even though it's still a 5 inch and the 7 inch, that is the BOMB!!

Wiss has a very similar electrician/data scissor for a great price

Can you compare the knipex bolt end cutters (72/22/200) and the knipex bolt end nippers (62/02/200)

I have gone back to Klein , the Knipex are banished to my Leatherwork bench ! The reason being , the Knipex are bulky on the belt , and that the clip comes off the sheath if you are in tight spaces , ie: attic / crawlspaces ! I have gone to the Klein 2600-1 , in a custom molded leather belt sheath . The Klein Freefall shears are a good Stainless option. The 2600-1 will easily cut up to 14-2 and 12-2 if needed . The 2600-1 has a well engineered shearing notch in blade , plus stripping notches ! The downside is the Klein’s are at the best in in a properly constructed moulded sheath !

Do you have any edc sheaths that you make, say for cobras, penlight, and pocket knife?

I saw these tiny knipex electrician sheers on a clearance rack for $6.00. I passed and thought what in the hell would o ever cut with those tiny things? Haha idk if i would really use them but for $6 I may see if they still have some.

The "titanium" coating, is the gimmiest gimmick, that came out in the tool market ever!!! To be fair, it probably will help a bit with rust, if the envroment is humid or if the steel isn't very rust resistand, but doesn'e mean, it makes them rust proof, neither that it offers anything else!

For certain tools nothing compares to Knipex. Plumbers use Alligator and Cobra pliers where they used to use pipe wrenches.
    These shears are amazing.
    I enjoy your videos.

Exactly, I have 1 adjustable wrench (a bahco) in multiple tool pouches. Knipex pliers wrenches all day long. It took me a long time to get away from a multi-generational Craftsman mindset, but loyalty to a name isn't really loyalty. I can't just go down the street to a sears to exchange a tool anymore, so I might as well buy the sexy foreign tools my Dad always warned me about. Somehow I don't think I'll be breaking any.

If i was cutting cable i would use cable cutters not sheers. I don't like the notch in them.
