Here is a quick video with only playing! I compare the new @mlsoundlab Reflex IRs against the stock cab in the Fortin Nameless X plugin from Neural DSP! Three riffs, a couple that are familiar, three different drop tunings, and some quick back and forth audio samples. - เพลง
Tbh the ML ir sound tube like i love it
They do seem to have a more dynamic and harmonic feel to them. That sounds like marketing jargon, but I would be curious to do my own frequency measurements to see if the mid range is more variable!

That will be interesting 🍻
This is absolution ♥️🫶🏻
Top tier KSE riff!
@@BaritoneGoatStudio literally got it on my skin!
Mikko eliminates a dip in his IRs hence the sound seems to have more honk than the Nameless Cab. The Nameless cab in this comparison has a nicer sound.
Great comparison dude.
Thanks. I think the neural stuff is great, but this is one amp they make I think benefits from 3rd party IRs.
Big difference in the sound.
Yeah! A bit. Even though the ML ones sound a bit more full an forward, there are parts where I think the neural cab might be better suited for a mix.
From the smartphone speaker, nothing that justificate the price 😂
Prefer the clarity of the stock IRs.
I am thinking the stocks IRs might sit easier in a mix. I always liked the Neural cabs, and they are easy to record with. The ML IRs might be better suited for live playing. I know a lot of guys who use 3rd party IRs with their QC, and ML Sound is one of the main brands. I should pull up some York and Ownhammer IRs to compare as well.
@@BaritoneGoatStudio Yea, York and Ownhammer is what I mostly use. I do have a bit of a chip on my shoulder with ML. I think $250 for Mikko 2 is outrageously priced. I use Cabnetron currently.
