I'm glad Will spoke up about the difficulties getting a diagnosis for autism in the UK. It's absolutely ridiculous, considering it affects such a large % of the population.
Will Ospray’s match against Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom was absolutely amazing. He is definitely someone who elevates the sport.

I love Will Osprey's attitude in interviews. You hear him go from intense and firey, to cool and goofy, talking about guilty purchases, it's so great.
Just summed up any conversation with a Brit essentially. Particularly use of the C bomb.

I love how BOTH Will & Renee have become WAY bigger than any one promotion or organization, and they have grown fabulously into some of Pro Wrestlings' shiniest gems and have come to be woven into its very fabric for decades now...WOW...Your work and commintment has not gone unnoticed!

I’ve been to multiple wrestlemanias. Probably 50 wrestling shows. The best wrestling match I’ve ever seen live was him and Amazing Red in the Super J Cup. From the entrances to the final speech - an absolutely perfect match.
Will is so relatable. I love how he evolved and I just hope he doesn't get many more major injuries, because the stuff he does is very brutal to his body
Myself and Will are the same age and from the same place (we don't know eachother 😅) It's always really surreal listening to him in interview outside of character because he could just be one of the lads back home down the pub!

EDIT: Just heard him talking about mental health and he's not wrong about the waiting lists being fucking long in England, takes months at least to actually get seen by somebody when you're trying to get any kind of help. The NHS is great but it needs to do better with mental health
Mental health care is terrible, you are right. Unless someone reaches the end of the road and acts on it you don't get help.
Post pandemic more people have mental health issues and nothing is being done.
As a person who’s on the road to being a licensed social worker wanting to help people with mental health issues, the pandemic skyrocketed the importance of mental health and the amount of people wanting to seek help, all the while actual people able to help has dwindled due to being overworked into fatigue from the field. It’s going to take a minute at least here in the states but I can assume that’s the case everywhere else as mental health has been a taboo for years until recently

I discovered Ospreay last year at WK16, the first WK I've watched in full and I immediately became a fan. The in-ring is on point, his talent on the mic is captivating, I've been following everything from him since January 2021 (with some BackToTheFuture trips of course) and what a banger! I can't wait to see the future for him, especially involving World Gold around his waist.
Oh, and thank you Renee for all your great interviews! Can't wait for 2023

One of the few good things about the pandemic and being stuck at home in 2020 was that it gave me a chance to do a deeper dive into Will Ospreay's career since I was casual NJPW watcher before 2020 and now he is probably my favourite wrestler on the planet.

Was there for his first AEW match. Ospreay is awesome. Match was amazing.
He just needs someone to practice acting and writing promos with to gain that confidence and spark more than anything else, the promos will come naturally after that. I suffered the same learning difficulties as a child, growing up finding it difficult to explain why I'm so awkward and why I struggle with "normal" things. What he has accomplished despite that is truly amazing, inspiring. I still get frustrated trying to explain what's wrong with me and I'm 33, no diagnosis.
Thank you for this one. Will is like Jay White for me. Just found out about him in the last couple of years. Definitely, one of the best wrestlers today.

he's really humble and prides himself on the company he works for. i hope njpw keeps him longer hes an ace. not that i wouldnt want to see him in other places. but just you know. njpw to him represents something and i like that spirit.
Just love Renee's interviews. She remembers everything even down to Will giving her a recipe that he didn't remember giving her.

Re diagnosis. If you have ADHD and dyslexia you are more than likely on the spectrum. My daughter is and your attitude re Being 'normal' is overrated is a great one to have. My daughter has hated being different.

Ospreay is such a good promo and would do well with a massive crowd in the states etc. His match with Kenny was one of the best ever. And, I really enjoyed what he said about Rollins, I am sure they'd have a great Wrestlemania match one day.
Im a big supporter of Ospreay, he's an incredible wrestler, already one of the best in the world. I hope that the match with Omega is the first of a trilogy, maybe culminating with Ospreay winning the belt back at Forbidden Door 2.

Brothah, as an autistic with adhd myself, I agree with you, there is a HIGH possibility you are. And I felt the same "ah ha, THAT'S why I'm the way I am" weight lifting feeling once I got my diagnosis. Everything just made sense for the first time in my life.

As a 32 year old on the spectrum, I love wrestling and watching it makes me happy! Will Ospreay is one of my favourite wrestlers, plus I have a crush on him. He is so open, even about his dyslexia.

This is the best look I've ever gotten at who Will Ospreay is outside his gimmick and he seems like a good, genuine dude. I love it. He's young still, but he's got a great attitude. Listen when people tell you you've fucked up. Take ego out of it. Make amends and do better. There's a TON of people older than him that haven't figured this out.
Whenever I see Will Ospreay in the ring, I feel like I am watching some kind of Mortal Kombat fighter. His moves just seem surreal sometimes. I would love to see him at Wembley.

I didn’t like Will based on what others said about him and how he presented himself….. this interview has completed changed my mind for the better. Down to earth guy, one hell of a wrestler no doubt, but a real genuine guy. This is why I love Renees’ podcast because it shows the men and women behind the wrestler. Great episode

Will is one of my favorites I hope he goes to aew or wwe one day I mean ospray vs aj , ospray vs Seth , and will vs like half the aew roster would be bangers same with wwe I can’t think of a bad match he could have with any body from any company .
Also if he changes companies I think aew cause he can go back to new japan or if wwe can get a working relationship with new japan he can go there but he can really go anywhere . But I know his dream match is with aj same with Kenny but I support any decision he makes
