Hi! Nice video. I have a question regarding the bolt on this rifle. Is this just a regular bolt threaded for a bolt knob, or does it have a different design from the bolts of a regular Howa1500? Considering doing this on a Weatherby Vanguard, which is basicly the same rifle.
Not at all. As a matter of fact recently went out and shot to 400 yards and gotn2 shots to almost touch. What grain are you shooting. My buddy has the same rifle as I do same caliber but I think his likes gea ier bullets
@@GremlinArmory I tried Nosler 180gr & 200 gr, Hornady superformance 180gr, winchester 180gr and remington 150gr. They all are similar but Howa recommended the 180gr Hornady superformance. I think I might have copper fouling that is causing the issue. I just got done cleaning it and there is no more copper so I need to go to the range and try is again. When I got the rifle I shot it and it had terrible accuracy. When I checked the screws they were all loose and there was no lock tight on the stck setting screws. I had to reseat the barrel and mount everything again. I wasn't sure if that was normal or just mine.
Where are these assembled in the US? By HS Precision in South Dakota? Or in house in Reno

Its the same design just threaded. You can buy one or have a gunsmith thread it
Any new update on your 300 Howa and were you able to zero it in at 300 yards?
No not yet. After that shoot temps have been in the upper 90s. But waiting for some cool weather to retry
@@GremlinArmory okay thanks for the response.
I bought the same gun and I can’t get it to group. Did you have to do anything with the stock when you bought it?

How did it shoot after tightening it all up?
