They're potent in the early games in a campaign when other gangs don't have the tools to deal with them. But the trouble is they don't scale at all well. You can only really get more close combat power which you are already good at to start with. And even then the cyborg weapons mean you have to tool people at at purchase. None of which helps out when the other gangs all buy themselves meltaguns and other assorted big guy killing tools.
These remain, by quite some distance, the best Necromunda battle reports I've ever found on TH-cam. Always very exciting when there's a new one! Thanks so much for all the time and effort you put into all of this, it all looks amazing as well :)
I am loving your content . Thank you. It has proven to be a great resource over the last weeks while I learn necromunda. I am starting with the enforcers so , very useful .
The ogryns did a good job in this one. That massive toughness and strength really panned out for them. The bolters should have done more but as you mention, the cover prevented a lot of that. Good game!!
Roll on ogryn tide 😅 my oldest got a few teeth pulled today so we just hung out and watched videos when I got home, really appreciate the bat reps being family friendly even if it’s in the grim dark. She likes the ogryn names too 😂
Not the most high-octane battle, but the Ogryns are a real menace. They were a veritable wall of meat and dumb, slowly closing in on the Enforcers. Future battles are going to be rough on them thanks to that T2 Captain; a stiff breeze will knock him over! On to the next!
Loving the custom graffiti! Thanks! As usual great content. Sounds like one of the enforcers is my namesake not sure if that's coincidence but I was rooting for the guy anyway 😂
@@MiniatureGameMontage it is brutal lol my ogyrn gang are nurgle corrupted so I have two ogyrn that will just run at the enemy with blasting charges and let nurgle protect them lol

Any gang with nothing stronger than S4 is going to have a really tough time against the Slave Ogryns. If I'm playing in a campaign with them, I'm angling for for a Lascannon, Autocannon or Multi Melta as soon as I can get it.
Smart play by enforcers to get out while the going was still good, it was an uphill struggle for sure odds were stacked against them. I'm pretty sure you can't rapid fire blast and template weapons, you could use it with your free stub gun though. :-)
@@rikokrates6298 You really want the ability to run and shoot with flamers rather than fast shot. No worries about to hit rolls. So you can stay in cover, cross open ground and get into the ideal position to light people up, and then fun times for all. Fast shot requires you to already be in position to shoot at people. Which means they need to group up in flamer template range and stay there until your turn. And not run around on fire (and go out of range) after the first shot.
@@DT-ce1fb For sure, totally agree, its always interesting to try and see some of the skills used differently. Skills in Necromunda are are a bit sad because some are auto takes while the others are never used and the ones that are always taken like fast shot usually end up on meta weapons.
I would see on my playing group I would be jeered at for runing off like that even in campaing. As they would claim there was still a chance to do something (ye no the slightest)
Nice clear batrep. But shouldn't the ogryn who got hit by the boltgun at around the 9:10 mark been pinned? Pinky shouldn't have been able to charge that turn.
nice to see the ogryns win but man... those enforcers seem more and more underpowered game after game. not a good impression games balance wise. they have like a 10% winrate over ALL of your necromunda battle reports. I think photon flashs + boltguns/ double stub guns seem to be the most solid choice.
Thanks!!
Wow thanks, friend! That’s immediately worth about 5k views! At least! Cheers!
@@MiniatureGameMontage My pleasure, and very much the least I could do! Please keep doing what you're doing and producing fantastic content :)
“Sir the slaves are revolting!”
“So?”
“They are ogryns”
“Oh sh*t”

I've never heard people speak highly of the Ogryn gang. I've been rooting for them since day 1 and I'm so glad they are making their way!

Excellent battrep, as usual! Big hurraaah for the big boys, Enforcers didn't really stand a chance :(
No...my intention was to group and focus fire them but that went out the window when they split.
Nice to see the big 'uns give it to "the man" but the Captain getting utterly destroyed by the mining laser was utterly brutal! Great batrep as usual!
Thanks brother! Just picked the wrong fight 😂

He speaks well and has good terrain.
I see my name on the terrain! That's cool. Thanks for keeping that tradition alive.
It’s the least I can do! Thanks for watching!
"Out of Action" doesn't quite capture what happened to the Captain... so many skulls.
Lol yeah…he was decimated. Normally you roll injuries for all those skulls too. We just do one.
@@MiniatureGameMontage Yea, the way we run it, you roll Injury for each OoA but only take the worst one. Still brutal in situations like that though.

Great batrep .. always nice to see the Ogryn take to the field. They are great looking minis.
Thanks! Some of the best!
It's such a shame the box set was limited time, you also can't find it anywhere.
Seems like that was quite a fast paced game!
Good use of movement and general intimidation by the Ogryns 💪 Looking forward to more games as ever

That charge to take out the enforcer captain then breaking their line was awesome. What a great moment.

Really enjoying watching the enforcers play.
They will do much better I think in other matchups. I hope at least!

Awesome batrep. The Ogryn's toughness looks very hard to krak. The Enforcers might need to purchase a heavy weapon.
Indeed! Savings those credits! :D

Very Well made bat rep

Been watching these to get excited about playing enforcers. I have not been successful
😂 They just don’t have a lot of bells and whistles like “house of” gangs. I enjoy them a lot. Ogryn are just hard in the early game with that T5
Ogrepowered! ;)
🤣
Man I want to see Ogryn with heavy flamer
@@Mr.Snappy2646 sounds amazing!
Usually those rapid fire bolt guns bring it strong for those Enforcers
Yeah I knew T5 would be an issue. But the ZM setup just let the Ogryn get too close

For sure! T5 is so strong at founding.
Just anything with the melta rule will do. In an emergency shock weapons can work because they auto wound on sixes to hit.

They have the fast shot ability allowing them to treat shoot as a simple action. That might be the confusion. The bolters are rapid fire

He fired at the open target which was a loboslave. Pinky had cover so the shot was more difficult.

Ogryn the best.

not a bad match but once again definitely feel like spliting the enforcers was a bad move
agreed. that wasn't my original plan.
@@MiniatureGameMontage it's all good no plan ever survives first contact I'm confident the enforcers will pull it off in the end
I mean the only real chance at winning was getting the VIP ogryn too tough, multiple wounds and a 5+ save using zone mortalis terrain.

Yeah while they tend to get the L they are least competitive for most of them. This one not so much.
