I highly recommend reacting to the KnightSGC music videos for Price of a Mile and Soldier of Heaven. My 2 favorite sabaton songs and 2 of their most emotional. Especially price of a mile, it's about the absolute futility of war.
Some reactors will start with the official video, then Sabaton history, then a live version. That said, here's Shiroyama from the front row Saturday in Houston. th-cam.com/video/MnkczxSO_EQ/w-d-xo.html
I would recommend to listen to the new song of them "father" is pretty unique and to be is just almost perfect, specially the way they put it, you can watch the history part after you listen the first time the song, maybe is still works fine and still keep 100% true first reaction
Honestly, stick to watching the history video after the song if that's what works best for you. You could even include watching it in your reactions if you feel comfortable doing so.
Yeah I thought about that but video retention timings say probably not a good idea lol. I am thinking of watching the videos and posting those on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I agree with everyone saying you should do the History after the music, that way you have the song fresh and reinforce with the history! Still, this is your choice and you should do what you wanna do, not what a bunch of lovely randos (myself included) on the internet say, hehe.
I happen to like this bunch of randos! Ya'll help me explore this side of music I never got into until now. This is our journey together, so my friend the rando, offer as much advice as you like :) I have been debating on using Tuesdays and Thursdays to release Sabaton History reactions for the songs I have reacted to so far and then catching up and doing the history for the previous day's reaction so they are fresh.
I would say it is just you. All their songs sound very much different from each other to me. Granted in the metal genre you are going to have similarities due to chord progressions and timings etc that most metal songs will share but for the sound as a whole no they definitely do not sound the same.
This is one of my favorite sabbaton songs because of the overall message of The struggle of the old against the new.
Sabaton just released a song Father it is so good

@@JTMMTV That sounds like an amazing idea!
I recommend reacting to the music first then to Sabaton History
Yep Agreed
It is me or do their songs all have the same sound?
