I loved the taste testing. So fun every time you do them. Mr Grack is really interesting to hear his input as well. He sounds a foodie like you. You two are darling.
Grace, please don't stress yourself filming and editing over vlogmas. I know its easy to succumb to the pressure of the TH-cam algorithm and wanting to please people, but just enjoy your December with friends and family and upload at your leisure.
Not really the case. The reason why so many TH-camrs do vlogmas, or more regular videos in December, is because advertisers pay more to advertise on TH-cam, meaning that one view in December gives the TH-camr way more money, like about THREE TIMES the revenue per view. Therefore she does need to do the vlogmas to make up the lost money for the months this year when she only uploaded 3-4 times on both channels combined.
The riper and "rottener" the better (as long as they're not truly spoiled) for bananas used in banana bread! As they ripen, the sugar content rises so it makes for a delicious banana bread. We save the over-ripe bananas in the freezer just for banana bread and they barely need defrosting to use.
I didnt know you could make banana bread with frozen bananas! I always freeze them and i have wanted to make banana bread with them but didnt because thought it might change the texture, is there anything difference you do? Or just defrose and mash?
Almost everyone in my extended family has black bananas in their freezer for this purpose-although in New Zealand banana cake is more popular than banana bread & with chocolate frosting it’s delicious 🤤
Happy proposal anniversary to both of you! And a merry Christmas season! My wife would probably bake banana bread with your bananas. We were recently gifted an entire case of bananas and she's been making banana bread and banana-blueberry bread ever since. The house smells wonderful and all our neighbors have a loaf of bread. We call them 'bread' because she bakes them in bread pans. I suppose there's no reason they couldn't be baked in cake pans. I suspect it's just how you learned.
You are the nicest person ever, your such a pure soul!! Your videos make me so happy! If there were more off you the world would be a better place! Hats off to your parents for doing a great job! I wish to raise my daughter like you! Xx❤❤❤
I have a paper that's due on the 19th and my goal for this week is to finish it by Sunday! The paper has taken up all of my energy this december and it would be great to be able to enjoy the time left before christmas to do some christmassy things I didn't get to do yet 🎄
Yule logs test for sure !! Asda have a Black Forest one covered in white I assume chocolate it looks ace some does the Waitrose one and I have no idea what one to get - thanks for your amazing vids x
I look forward to a new video everyday like actual excitement. Love the vibes and wreath making was so sweet. The carol concert looked so magical❤️🎄 thank you for making Christmas 2023!!
I want to finish knitting the jumper for my daughter this week for Christmas. I love Christmas. I used to make tons of Christmas cookies, candy, chocolates, buns, then we would take plates around to all of our friends and carol to them when we gave them. I can't do that anymore, but I have lots of fond memories. I love all your festive videos. They really help me feel more festive. Your bananas were perfect for banana bread. That's probably why it tasted so delicious. We call it banana bread because it is baked in a bread loaf pan, and it is a quick bread type recipe. Banana cake has about twice the sugar, butter, and eggs, so much sweeter, moister, richer. Merry Christmas all!
I’ve been wrapping presents while watching your vlogs and it has given me the perfect, wholesome, christmasy vibe this evening. Thank you so much for being such a lovely part of my festive season.
I'm so excited to see your vlogmas videos every other day that i'm also going back to watch your last years :D you really do put a smile on a lot of people faces Grace
Oooohhh I use the BBC GoodFood recipe for the banana bread too! People love it! I think I usually add some vanilla and stuff but yeah, super good! One time I did a marble banana bread and chocolate sponge and that was so good :3 I even did a chocolate butter cream with it and people loved that also!
You do an amazing job of vlogging and make sure you take time for yourself to enjoy the holiday season. I appreciate what you do but want you to enjoy and not stress.
Loving the Mr Grack commentary: 'yeah... I could hear the clag from here', 'taking headlines here so... 'jaw-cracker'' and the best when Grace said people called her greasey Grace 'ah... people are cruel'. The fact that we can't see him almost makes it funnier - tell him he's got a career in mystery commentating if he wants.
My favourite mince pies this year is the Cafe Nero almond ones and the Reeves bakery deep filled ones (Reeves bakeries are in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset). I like the Sainsbury’s bakery ones. Am trying the M&S Collection ones next.
This week I just want to survive working full time during the day and being on a panto with my amateaur dramatics group at night! It will be so much fun but so tiering as well!
Hi Grace! I have to say that when you uploads a video, it really makes my day better. Thank u sm for spreading positivity. And thank u for uploading every other day although it keeps you busy. 🎉🎊🎄💙
Fortnum & Mason's mini mince pies are the best of the best imo. They are bit expensive (£12 for 9 in a box) but so so worth it! Event better is they are ever sop slightly warmed up. Please give it a try. Lots of love, G xxx
You can get a 12 days of Christmas calendar to open from Dec 25 to Jan 6. I know it won’t take you far into January, but I think they’re a nice way to not have the festivities end cold Turkey on Christmas Day.
An idea for January...free entertainment. In Australia it's a great month for going to free events. Maybe being winter you have less events but you're near a big city so there has to be something!!
I’m hoping to finally finish the book The Nutcracker. I love the ballet and I love reading but never read the original story, I started it last year and then it just got forgotten about with how busy everything was, however I’m trying again this year and I only have 20 pages left so I’m going to make it happen this year!
im a totally mince pie and xmas pudding person! if you like xmas puddings review the most expensive to the cheapest. it would be great content even for next year, i love xmas pudding but the super fancy ones i dont like, to full of alcohol

Mr. Gracks commentary through out the mince pie taste test was so entertaining!!
I love how Grace decides to bake and eat banana bread in preparation for trying twelve mince pies 😂
Love the fact you both booked the same activity for eachother .....cute
