I feel sad for second male lead because he doesn't want to be burden for anyone.
Because main leads both have their father and family only second male lead doesn't have, he always do everything so he can fit between them.
He feel, he is outsider there so he did everything from childhood to adult make sure he also family member for them.
Ling Xiao's storyline is really difficult to take in. He received mental abuse from his mother but he can't leave even if he wants to because no one's going to take care of his sister and his injured mother. Later, he seemed to have depression but his father refused to take him to a psychiatrist. I was actually annoyed too that they just brushed this part off and didn't resolve it along with his abandonment trauma.
His trauma was just so that jianjian could pity on him, take care of him and be his medicine. Neither was it cured or even seen that much. While I love this drama a lot, lot of concepts were rushed and I don't think they take apologies as a thing since they were needed.
Not just mental abuse physical abuse as well. I still dont like her.
His abuse was real.
Mental abuse can be worse then certain degrees of physical abuse. She told him that he was the reason that his little sister was dead. This is a child and she is telling him that he killed somebody. She wouldn't even cook for him. She was a real azz. He should have had therapy. Although his dad was nice, he did not raise him. jiang-jin daddy was a substitute father but he didn't want to disrespect the fact that the policeman was still cutie pie father. ling Xiao considered Jiang-jin his sister, mother, friend and everything else good in his life. Even though she was a child but he heard her ask his mother, if she didn't want him, could she have him. What, some kind of dialogue for a little child to say. What is even more profound is that his mother told her yes.? It was like she was talking to another adult that wanted to adopt him.That part wiped me out. How do you walk away from your little child?
This is one reason why he fell in love with Jiang-jin at that young age. Before his puberty set in, he could sleep with her because it was love shared between a brother and sister. When his puberty set in, he realized that this was the woman for him. That he could love for a lifetime. When she saw them pull up to the building as a little girl, she liked him then. We assumed because she was a child that her love for him was as being her brother. Sometimes your destiny, lifetime partner is revealed to you at an early stage in your life. This in my opinion, happened to be one of those moments. I do believe that she loved the youngest brother as a brother.
I think it is because medical record with such serious mental illness will stop him from practicing dentistry. The system work that way
this is one of the best family c-dramas I've seen, a gem, the ost is perfect

These episodes were hard to watch. The boys went to foreign, and I almost dropped the drama because everything became so depressing. Even though they reunited after 9 years the closeness wasn't there. The boys were suffering a lot and trying to cope with them. Finally, after Ziqui's accident when they again bonded the drama found its life.

Warm and sad at the same time. One of the most heartbreaking family drama (but with a good ending)
I loved that they were all worried about him, but it's so sad that they weren't as close as when they were younger, but I understand it is due to them being separated for so long but it's just so sad to see.
What a Lovely Family even thou they are not actually blood related and fathers at that beside thier own real father. I hope to have like a family the same. Since I lost my dad at an early age I honestly envy them.

It's kinda sad because the 2 guys filled out a place and see she's been there with both dads so they're more Interacted with her Like one that's pulling on her ear and the other that's like oh you're my daughter don't worry about it and see both dads look like they don't know what to do or how to act around the 2 boys what do you think about it 10 years and I kind of couldn't understand how she feels because it's like she was there for their graduation they weren't there for her high school graduation they weren't there for her college graduation they weren't there when she entered college so it's like she felt lonely and then having to hear the remarks that people were saying see where they were at no they were at no 1 knew their life story but life's story but where she was at people are like oh yeah look at the abandoned their dads And her for The rich family you know him his wealthy mom and and the other one has wealthy dad not knowing that 1 was already cut off because he wouldn't call his biological dad dad and the other 1 he was going through a miserable time had no friends wasn't socially active with any 1 or anything
this is one of the best cdramas that I highly recommend. You will have an even bigger impact of emotions when you watch this drama from the beginning. How these dads gave unconditional love to raise these 3 together, the love, the hurt, laughter, love, tragedy, horrible family and how these 3 survive with the love of the 2 dads!

I started to watch this drama bcz i really love their brother n sister bonding❤ but wen i came to know that the older brother n the sister 'll b dating i just stop watching it😞(completed watching till ep 8)
Ling Xiao was always in love with Jian Jian. He did not treat her as a sister. And what's wrong? They are not biological or blood related. And Ling never crossed his limits when they were teenagers. He did not even used to allow jian jian to get on his bed. When jian jian pulled out the pant of He, ling rushed to jian jian and closed her eyes. He always respected and loved her. Calling brother does not make one brother.
