I'm on day nineteen and 5600 miles of a motorcycle trip. Just got into my hotel in New Mexico. Received notification of a new Laura video a few minutes ago, and dropped everything I was doing, it can wait. Sat down and watched your latest video. So nice to see a new one, a lovely treat I wasn't expecting today. Like finding money I had long forgotten about in my coat pocket. Thanks for sharing it, Laura
Your comment sure brought a smile to my face- That’s awesome! Keep enjoying the ride! 19 days… I sure am envious. Wishing you sunny skies and many, many open roads. 😊
First time viewer. Actually saw part 2 just before this. Old man with 350 thousand Km riding. I don't know what a real Harley rider is, but I know what a real rider is, and you are one for sure. Very impressed with your determination. I wish you success and great enjoyment on your journey. Hopefully you are about a month ahead of your vids, because by Labor Day, it's time to head home from the NWT, eh?
There you are little sister! Glad to see you are out and running again! It's been so stupid hot down here..i remember seeing temps in the high 120's in DV after you were there. It's very beautiful there someday I will have to go through there..
Lovely to see you back Laura wasn't expecting another trip so was very surprised when you popped up. Hope it's a bit warmer for you this trip and hopefully you get some nice weather. Can't wait for the rest of the series, as for working two jobs that's a bummer. Hope you have fun and ride safe ❤
Hi Laura, really nice to have you back riding and posting your new journey. Wish you well and look forward to the beautiful Canadian sights and all you will show us along the way. Ride easy, ride well and stay warm and dry.
Excited to watch this series as it unfolds. Planning a Tuk trip in a few years and I'm always looking for hints on places to check out on my way. Your ability to capture the beauty in even the most mundane sights or scenes is a gift and I hope to be able to capture something similar in my own videos. Cheers!
Great video! I’m not knocking the 883, but I think you are right about needing/wanting an adventure style bike. It would make your travels on the gravel roads much easier.
Shes back.Love seeing your travels on your moto.Gas stations must be few and far between. You might want to cut back on the rain dance before you start your trips.Although i imagine its not cold like your last trip.Look foward to your next video. Peace.
The Dempster’s Highway is on my bucket list… can you imagine? What a dream! Thank you so much for the $10- that’s a tank of gas… or $10 in the piggy bank for an adventure bike. 😄
Really good to see you back. You must be getting better with the Drone because you got some beautiful shots of Manitoba. I look forward to your next episode.
Good ride, thanks for sharing it with me. I know that road from Kenora to Winnipeg pretty well. Spent the summer of '79 there as a 16yr old, so it was good to see it again.
Just got back from a ride today and Laura’s back 😆Great to see you’re on the road again ! Looks like you been beating your tank over the spring ! Be nice to her till you get a PanAm 😂
Hi Laura Thank you for another enjoyable video nice to see your new journey & looking forward to your trip to the NWT Be safe enjoy take care Ridin in the Wind
Hello Laura, good to see you again! Yes , the first days of vacation you always have to get ‘ loose’ from the work routine.. but riding the bike always helps… what a beautiful country you are living in..🤗
Hi Laura, great to see you in a new video. Your filming is great, I have a lot to learn! After Labor day I hope to do a couple of bike trips. I have several bikes the newest a Triumph Bonneville T-120 but my Honda NC750 is the one that I have put together as a "touring" bike so will probably use that one on the first few trips. I have to make it to Canada some day it looks beautiful up there. Looking forward to your next video!
Wow, I’ve always loved the Bonneville! I wish you well on your many adventures after Labour Day. If you ever make it up to the great white north, there’s many beautiful remote roads worth riding. 😊
@@solo.roader Thanks Laura, the Honda's are pretty functionally good but a bit boring but the Bonneville's got all the style and classic looks. I also have a Royal Enfield Classic 350 which is also has a great classic feel to it, it's just lacking in the power department so have to watch my routes to stay off the major interstates.
At 5:09 great choice with green apple 😏 at 6:45 that honey was such a cool gift! 🇨🇦🐝🐝 at 8:14 I think that is a great goal! It will be so! You will be the proud owner of a HD Pan Am very soon! Keep going. Looking forward to watching this new series! Thank you for sharing 🤘😎🇺🇸🇨🇦🐝🎶
You have 2 jobs! In Vermilion Bay? What are you doing? I ask because I really enjoyed your videos from the fishing lodge, and I hope you will post more of this! Thanks for the new vid.
I didn’t notice any difference in balance- just mental stress 😅. Thoughts of, “I wonder how many pounds I’m exceeding this backpack of…” or, “what do I do if this rack snaps in two…” ran through my mind quite a bit.
480 miles is a lot. But happenstance finding that campground would be cool. I know it's July but as a Texan it boggles my mind people are still in puffy coats there.
GREAT!! I was hoping you might head in that direction. I'm guessing the shot of you wearing the mask was not to fight the cold but the mosquitos. This yank has been in every Canadian province except Nunavut... and if it had a road..... Explore it all while you are young Laura. The spirit of Alexander McKenzie is smiling! (Though I don't suggest you should carve your name and the date in a tree.) And gravel truly sucks. Good decision making (not that I would ever expect you to have any bad decision making!) The music and pace were perfect.
Thank you for your comment, it put a smile on my face! Wow, every Canadian province eh? I still have the east coast to explore- it’s just hard to find the time!!
@@solo.roader I've ridden from SW Indiana to Newfoundland twice. And this US citien has to say, it has the friendliest people I've ever met. I'm not the most out-going person, but they made me feel I didn't want to leave. Definitely add Newfoundland to your list.
I’ve thought about getting a bigger tank but haven’t pulled the trigger just yet! The cans didn’t throw off the balance too much. But it was stressful carrying them- them. They exceeded the weight limit of the backrack greatly.😅
Hi Laura, not sure how long of a delay you have on your videos, but you'll be riding right past my home. when you get farther north the services get a little sparse, if there's anything you need, or if I can buy you lunch, send me a message. safe travels.
New adventures! 😊 I was curious too about the gas you carry, do you use gas out of the red cans as you need fuel to help lighten your load as you ride or do you just use that fuel if you need to between gas stations? Hope your bubble gum remained Bug Free?! Great video.
@@solo.roader that's awesome 👍🏻. I have a ktm 390, rode it to the east and west points of Canada in the last 2 years as well as flin flon and kakabekka etc. 71000km on it now. Good idea with Yellowknife, i may do that next year 🤘🏻

Thanks for sharing all your adventures. Nice to see a genuine person enjoying life. I ride solo also. In Texas
The amount of time I spend dreaming of riding around Texas again is profound. You’re so lucky! Many great solo adventures to you. 😃
Thanks for your latest installment. Glad to see you back in the saddle. Bike sounds good. 👍🏼

“Little sister” really made my day. Thank you so much! Stay cool down there. 😊
Made my day seeing a new Laura Danielle video pop up. Can't wait to see the next one in this series.
Thank you!! 😄
Thanks! I am sooooo jealous! (ok perhaps envious......that just sounds a bit better I guess). lol
Hahaha! Thank you. And thank you so much for the $10- that’s a tank of gas for me! I really appreciate it! 😃
Beautiful as always! You definitely deserve some time off!

Nice to see youre headed out to NW Territories Laura. Have a great ride and stay safe

You're working too much, but you're also living the dream! I've always wanted to grab an adventure bike and ride through Canada to Alaska.
